Ask for wisdom, and it will be poured out. Our Creator God stretched out the North over an empty space and He hung the earth on nothing. God created all that is by speaking a Word. He bound up the water into heavy clouds that do not crash to the ground to kill, but they gently lay down as a blanket of fog to moisten seeds planted.

He stirs up the seas by His power and waves crash on shore in obedience to His boundary. By His Spirit, He adorned the heavens with stars that bedazzle mankind. “His hand pierced the fleeing serpent, indeed these are the mere edges of His ways.” Job 26:13 Our God “delivers the poor in their affliction, and He opens their ears in oppression… Behold, God is exalted by His power; who teaches like Him? Who has assigned Him His way? Or who has said ‘You have done wrong?’ Remember to magnify His work! Behold, God is great, and we do not know Him.” Job 36:15-27 How small a whisper we hear of God while His thunder roars with power. Who can question God who has all authority?  He grants us each breath and extends us joy in our hope in Him. There is zero hope for the hypocrite who boasts like a fool on all his knowledge. God overturns mountains at the roots. He cuts channels in the rocks. Whatever pride is hidden, He brings into the light. The riches of wisdom is not found in the living. The deepest thinker humbly admits, “wisdom is not in me.” Wisdom cannot be purchased with gold or earned in degrees of man. The price of wisdom is above rubies – it is not for sale as it is hidden from the eyes of the proud. God looks to the end of the earth as He sees the future under the whole heavens. God made a law for the rain and a path for His thunderbolt. He challenges us just like Job. “Shall the one who contends with the Almighty correct Him?” Prepare yourself to face the Judge of all, humble, not proud. “I will question you, and you shall answer Me!” Job knew that to question God’s judgment was foolish.
