All Sufficient

Until Jesus is enough, no person, place, or thing will ever be. Slow down to reflect.  Lord, am I still anchored in You or have I drifted? Being stilled in that quiet, God reminds us of something simple but pretty deep. His fixed, unchanged truth is rock solid. But all of us on occasion look to people to fill silence, we look to relationships to soothe the ache of emptiness. We look to achievement, seasons, titles, platforms, routine, anything to make us feel whole. And it works for a minute until it doesn’t. Psychologically, this is what happens when we attach our sense of safety, worth and identity to external sources. The identity we assume comes from voices in this world, not God’s voice. The limiting beliefs are just stories we heard and repeat. God tells us the truth, so choosing ti be still and listen is wise.  The stories He tells us edify our spirit with a truth that never changes. There once was a time where I thought I wouldn’t be able to live a life based on faith in God. There was a time I doubted I’d be able to be accepted for who God created me to be. There was a time I did not believe I could be loved. Because of God’s living and active Word, what I once doubted became my reality. The difference between  people who live in victory and limited believers is that the victorious people see possibilities, while limited believers only see obstacles. Stop doubting what God says is truth. “I am adopted, I am His treasured beloved.”

Our words shape not only our identity, but our reality, therefore, we speak positively to program our subconscious for victory. Our speech programs what we will physically and emotionally expeience. Our words command our minute by minute listening heart and subconscious.  Each time we say, “I’m tired, I’m broke, I’m sick, I’m unliked, I’m depressed!” Our brain believes it. God’s Word tells us how to think. “Think whatever is true, lovely, or praiseworthy.” Know and accept that God sees us as His perfect, redeemed, Holy Spirit filled, exceptional child! Take that truth in deeply! Repeat this and believe, “I am God’s beloved and wherever I am, He is. He knew me before I was born, and He has equipped me with power from on high. I am enough, I am never alone, and my Father listens and rejoices over me. Opportunities are coming my way. I am learning and growing daily. I walk in victory. I am grateful and blessed.” These are words of truth.  God will for us is very good. He delights in us as we accept His plan to prosper us as our thoughts become actions that create a wonderful reality. So choose words wisely because our heart and subconscious is always listening. The moment that a soul drifts away from truth, our very real place in Him, our nervous system panics. We feel abandoned, anxious, unstable, empty, not because something is wrong with us, but because we asked something temporary to do the job of something eternal. The Bible names this clearly. Jeremiah 2:13 “My people have committed two evils. They have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters and dug out cisterns for themselves, broken cisterns that can hold no water.”  In other words, we keep running back to broken containers that can NEVER hold what only God provides, living water. “For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.” Matthew 12:34 This Word from God emphasizes that what is in our hearts and minds will ultimately be reflected in our words and actions. Our speech is a direct indicator of our inner thoughts and loyalties. God hears every word, is He pleased? Do we serve the kingdom of God or evil with our words?

The hard hearted woman at the well said to God, “You are perfect and I am a but a wretched woman. How can you ask me for a drink?” Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked Him and He would have given you living water. Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again,.but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” John 4 The woman at the well had looked into the eyes of Truth with a broken heart. Jesus met her with grace and spoke to her higher self. To accept who we are in His eyes is to understand the two versions of self.  She shifted from self judgment to the acceptance of truth. Tge two parts of self is the ego self and our higher self. The ego self is complains about everything, sees only mistakes, has a scarcity mindset and lives in a victim mentality. The higher self is grateful and sees joy in every moment, grasps onto lessons and sees opportunities with a mindset of abundance. The enlightened self takes responsibility for each thought. It acts to create God’s will with gentleness and self-control.  Ego reacts, as the submitted to God self responds with grace. Our ego self looks for problems. Our higher self searches for ways to extend grace to others and self.  Ego blames, the obedient higher self reflects. Ego competes, the higher self elevates. If a soul is always triggered, on edge and always trying to prove something, that is ego or pride talking. If we find ourself quiet in a pause to zoom out, we choose peace over performance.  Humbly we submit to the Holy Spirit power that most deny. We do not rise by force, we rise by awareness of He who abides within is greater.

Until Jesus is enough, people will disappoint us. Places will always feel temporary, things will always lose their shine. And here’s the part that we don’t like to admit. When Jesus isn’t enough, we place pressure on people that are not responsible for our peace. We expect broken people to comfort us, to validate us, to rescue us, to fill the ache God is trying to heal. That’s not love, we burden others with our love leaking container, our human unquenchable need. Jesus said in John 6:35 “I am the bread of life, whoever comes to Me will never grow hungry and whoever believes in Me will never be thirsty.” Not occasionally satisfied, not temporarily full. When Jesus becomes enough, something shifts inside us. We stop clinging, we stop chasing, we stop needing people to stay in order for us to feel secure. We then love deeply without attaching desperately. We give freely without needing to be repaid emotionally. We walk away from what hurts without feeling guilty because our source of truth says “Walk this way”.

Psalm 62:5 “My soul finds rest in God, my hope comes from Him.” To trust God is not weakness, it is wisdom and strength.  When Jesus is enough, relationships become a gift, not a lifeline. Seasons become lessons, not identities. Blessings are our daily Bread, not substitutes. We stop asking people to be God in our life and we stop being crushed when they can’t make us whole. Until Jesus is enough, soul’s will always feel like something is missing. But when HE is, we realize that nothing more was ever needed because Jesus is sufficient! The moment Jesus becomes the Source of all things in life, everything else can finally take its rightful place, below Christ. Choose to serve God with every thought, kind action, and gift He gave. Prioritize serving others, while breaking free from old patterns and by knowing your limits. This is not selfish, it is wisdom. If choosing to serve the higher self feels uncomfortable, that means Holy Spirit is healing. Guilt is not our guide. Guilt comes from an old voice that echoes shame. But Holy Spirit reminds us that there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus. Our wellness is a priority so that we can serve from an overflow of goodness. Rest in Jesus renews us for His purpose. Stop explaining why rest is needed. Set boundaries to refuel because our energy level matters for the Kingdom and that His joy may be complete in us.

As believers look around at this world, we don’t see progress. We see evil increasing and truth being mocked. We hear what God calls good being called evil, and what God calls evil being celebrated. We witness families breaking apart as children are abused. We cry as many hearts grow cold. 2026 is the most incredible time to be alive as an adopted, sealed child of God because the day is coming when evil will not have the final say, deception will actually be silenced forevermore, and tears will be wiped away! Jesus defeated evil forever. The day is soon coming when our beliwf in Jesus will result in seeing the Christ face to face, in glory forever.  With thick deception so thick, many believers wrestle with “how long, oh Lord?”  These days are celebrated because our Lord Jesus is even closer. The darkness is not proof that God is losing, it is His written promise being played out.  His mercy clock is running out. Our Father tells us only truth.  Before the return of Jesus Christ, evil lawlessness will increase and it will abound. Deception is growing just as the spirit of the Antichrist  continues to rise. In Awe of God’s mercy and patience, we watch that unfold, not in theory, but in real time.  Praise God that in every increase of evil, His promise shines brighter. As the world offers less hope, our anchor of hope becomes unmistakable. When the world grows colder, His love feels warmer. And as the world grows darker, His light becomes impossible to ignore. Wisdom is to consider why? If this world were comfortable, and if justice always prevailed, if peace ruled the nations, if truth was honored and righteousness was rewarded, we might just forget how desperately we need Jesus. But this broken world reminds us daily that the planet we live on is temporary.  As citizens of heaven, we are just passing through and this is not our home. We are not waiting for governments to fix this. We’re not waiting for technology or AI to save us, and we are not waiting for culture to wake up. We are waiting for our King Jesus to rule and reign! The closer that His return draws, the more the contrast sharpens. The Antichrist will rise, but only because Jesus Christ is coming. As cunning deception slithers, the Truth  enters unshakable! The darkness rages, but it will never overcome the Light of this world. It makes sense that the church would have to be removed so that darkness will have its way in the tribulation. So, what an incredible thing to live in a generation that will never pass away, but live forever in glory with our Promise Keeper, Jesus our Messiah!  We aren’t just reading prophecy or studying history. We are watching scripture come to life. February 2026 is profound, not because of what the world is becoming, but because of the One who is coming to rescue us from it. This isn’t a time for fear, it is time to lift our eyes, because the same Bible that warns us about the darkness also promised us a future so glorious that no amount of suffering in this present time can ever compare to it. AMEN

Revelation 19

Protect His holy presence like it’s the most precious gift. Our Prince of Peace issues His grace and peace during the darkn times, and in the best of times. Our highest self keeps Jesus as our priceless ASSET. The Holy Spirit is in our finest luxury moments. His peace is the most expensive gift we have ever been given. Jesus Himself is the Spirit we possess, and our sacred relationship with Him is not negotiable. We discount His holy presence whenever we entertain lies by the voices  who drain us. With gifted authority we righteously ban energy vampires. Our passenger, the Holy Spirit abides within and He leads us away from whatever is erosive and toxic. We emit His pure transforming radiance. He refines our rough edges, and we submit to His selection of who we allow intimate access. In 2026 we honor His presence in the same way we would welcome royalty.  Enjoy the peace He gives in the midst of all the noise and chaos.

People poison themselves by holding onto bitterness.  We are commanded by God to love others, and ourselves, as He loved us back into His arms with  forgiveness. Forgiving others is obedience, forgiving yourselves is an act of overdue grace. Lay down the burden of all invested time bomb emotions. The words exchanged, the actions, the bad behaviors are all past, and covered by the blood. Only obedience is rewarded with the blessing of His peace.  Our loved ones respond in kind, or they choose to keep the heavy burden of unforgiveness. Choose to walk in the Spirit of forgiveness where there is zero room for resentment. Our Father knows what is best. Shine pure and bright!

Just like Jesus did, draw a tight circle of friends around you. Don’t give everyone access. Say no with grace. Our tender elegance empowers the boundary with angelic protection.  A soul’s quiet sustaining superpower is the Holy Spirit. He needs regular quiet time so we can hear His whisper. He is the Helper who assures us that our emotions do dictate direction, wisdom does. He pricks our conscience to step out of drama, and rise above it. We don’t reflect chaos as our mirror is Jesus. Move with confident grace and certain intention. Evil distracts us with selfish pleasures, while the Spirit directs our minds to focus on what Jesus did for us, and is now doing behind each confusing scene. People see us stay calm when everyone else melts in the fire. We honor our limits without raising our voice. We issue mercy with compassion and protect our peace. Lead with gentleness, not urgency.

To grow in greater grace, we must recognize patterns of stinking thinking as Holy Spirit points out voices that are not His. Maturity comes as we unlearn the limits assigned by family, old teachers, and friends.  The Bible teaches us new patterns of thought to fully embrace. At some point, naming our past stops being healing and starts becoming a cage. Our childhood abuse is not our identity. We died to our old nature and we put on our spotless, forgiven, transformed nature. Our growth begins the minute we realize to unlearn what kept us insignificant. To heal is not forgetting our past, we simply choose to walk in the Spirit of God in spite of who we once were.  After a certain age in Christ, we are no longer a product of our environment or how we were raised. Liberation comes from recognizing that we are the source of our own triggers and we have the power to choose how we respond to external sources.
Realize nothing is being done to us that we don’t allow. The anger button is only pushed by us.  The Holy Spirit liberates us from the right to be insulted. We humble ourself and pray about what triggers us.  We admit the truth that we mostly trigger ourselves, and agree with God that there is no blame, and no reason to be bitter or angry. We must not forget that God chose us to be His peace makers.  Refuse to become enslaved to an old pattern of behavior.  “I am a new creation in Christ Jesus and I respond with His mercy, grace and quick forgiveness.
We prayed for patience, so we use stress to exercise our faith in He who dwells within us 24/7. or do you let stress use you? Submit to Him as He is our rocket fuel to make our life greater. Decide to follow Christ and that nobody triggers you. You trigger you. By the grace of God, we take personal responsibility of our thought with Holy Spirit nudging and cheering us.
