Grace Abounds

By God’s grace, through the work of the Holy Spirit in me, I write this publically to personally apply Romans 5.  “Therefore, since I have been JUSTIFIED through FAITH, I have PEACE with GOD through my Lord JESUS Christ, through WHOM I have GAINED access by FAITH into this GRACE in which I now stand. And I BOAST in the HOPE of the glory of God. Not only so, but I also GLORY in my sufferings, because I KNOW that suffering produces perseverance, character, and greater hope and reliance on God, not myself. My HOPE does NOT put me to shame, because GOD’S LOVE has been POURED out INTO my heart through the HOLY SPIRIT, who abides in me.  When I was powerless, Christ died for my ungodly ways. My Father God demonstrates HIS own LOVE for me in this: While I am still a sinner, CHRIST died for me. Since I have BEEN JUSTIFIED by HIS BLOOD, how much MORE shall I be saved from God’s wrath through Jesus! More GRACE delivered and RECEIVED.

WHILE I WAS once God’s ENEMY, I was in need of a Savior.  My Father’s glorious Way was to reconcile me to HIM through the death of HIS SON.  Having been already reconciled, I am saved by grace through HIS Holy Spirit abiding in me for God’s astounding purpose! Not only is this so, but I also boast in my heavenly Father through my Lord Jesus Christ. Since I have been reconciled by God’s extraordinary gift of grace, I am a new creation. The original sin in the garden, the first trespass, by my confession of Jesus as Lord, I am sealed against God’s wrath. Many died by the sin of the one unfaithful soul in the garden. BUT GLORY TO GOD, how much MORE does HIS GRACE and the GIFT of eternal life come by the GRACE of JESUS CHRIST. His offer of salvation overflows to the many! WOW INDEED! Just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people, so also the perfect sacrifice of Jesus, resulted in justification and eternal life for all people who BELIEVE by FAITH in the life, death, and the resurrection of Jesus.

I confess Jesus as my Lord and I believe, in the Word of God. By my confession of faith, I am saved from the tribulation after the time of grace on earth is over.  Just as through the disobedience of the one tempted soul in the garden, many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of Jesus, the many will be made righteous by their confession of faith in Him. The law of Moses was brought in so that the sins of mankind might increase and be made obvious that mankind needs a Savior. But as our sin increased, GOD’S GRACE INCREASED all the more. Just as sin reigned in death, so also His grace  reigns through the gift of righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Our next group feast might just be the Wedding Supper of the Lamb.

Absolute Surrender to God is made possible by His Work in all who believe. As a writer holds a pen, the instrument is absolutely surrendered to the one writing. If a writer uses a pen, the designated purpose of the instrument must be absolutely surrendered to the hand that holds it.  If another hand is partly guiding the pen (a spirit of fear and the Spirit of God) a spiritual war will rage. The composed written piece would then contain both influencers. In the same way my coat of righteousness is absolutely absolutely covers my body, mind, and soul. We must expect that our never dying soul, is held up by God’s all powerful hand. His divine nature, the Holy Spirit was deposited and He works in is to transform us by regeneration. The Holy Spirit of God is at work in us every moment as we humbly surrendered our life to His care.  The temple that Solomon built was totally surrendered to the purpose of God as it was dedicated to Him. Our Father created, or built us in His own image, and as we dedicate our body to Him as a temple of God, He dwells in us as the Holy Spirit to work in us mightily. The one condition is our absolute belief in Jesus. God claims us as His, and He is worthy of our personal temple dedication. Without our willing submission, God cannot work His planned, predestined intent in and through us. God claims us as His adopted child the moment we profess Jesus as our Lord and Savior.  Our choice to live absolutely surrendered implies that we trust God. Do we dare face the trials in this broken world without His help?  God’s children bless the Father by their absolute faith and trust in His all mysterious ways. God does not ask us to give the perfect surrender in our own strength, or by our proven weak will. God is willing to work His grace in us. “It is God that worketh in us, both to will and to do of His good pleasure.” We are wise to surrender to the Holy Spirit and trust Him in all things. Only BELIEVE that the everlasting Spirit of God came into us to turn out whatever is wrong, and to conquer what is evil, and to work what is well-pleasing in our Father’s blessed sight.

Covenant Joy God Himself works grace into us to the point of glad, perfect surrender. Do you think it was by ACCIDENT that God found Abraham, the father of the FAITHFUL and the friend of God? Apart from God, how could Abe have such faith, obedience, and such devotion? It was God who raised Abe up and prepared him as an instrument for His glory. God said to Pharaoh, “For this cause have I raised thee up, for to show in thee My power?” Just as God said that of Abe, our Father’s plan to redeem and equip us with the Holy Spirit is equal to the father of faith, Abraham. Be encouraged to cast away every fear that to live a fully surrendered isn’t possible.  Trust God and pray: Lord, Jesus, My God, I am willing that Thou should make me willing. If there is anything holding me back or any fear, I pray that the Holy Spirit abiding in me proves how gracious  God is.” Our Father is delighted to respond as His Spirit works in us to a willing, absolute surrender. All the longings in our heart, they are the drawings of the divine hand of Jesus. He lived a life of absolute surrender and He has got full possession of those who proclaim Him Lord. He is living in every heart by His Holy Spirit. He desires to help us to take hold of His hand willingly. God penned His Word that we can know His heart and intentions to bless us. Come as you are to God and submit to the daily work of He that abides within.  Where are they?
