Cliff Hanging

dc0c605408a1d73f85c4b08da6a50deeSitting on the edge, my twitch morphs into woebegone.  Grab and grapple with self-inflicted quirks. Stuck in mind games on the island of feeling. Fingertips pulse again. The precipice of human challenge: Deny what you feel, or engage feelings and evolve…just jump into it. Tear down walls.  Foundational issues crack wide open. Weakness revealed and failures owned. The hollow drill for vengeance was a worthless dig. The world cares is a foolish notion. The world does not answer so I must.  Honest, horrendous emotions embraced. Rising up from denial,  aha,  those things I don’t like, is it me?  The attacker, the avenger, my mirror. Bludgeoning self is ineffective. Face the glaring reflection, counter the epiphany, and surrender to the joy and laugh about it.  The avoidance of pain keeps us in the dark reeling. Hurting things carve us, they trim us so that we can grow.  Ironically, we are better for the bang!
