There are many wonderful Air B&B places to stay in Ajijic and the Monte Coxala Spa in San Juan Cosala is breath taking with suites fit for a queen. If traveling during May, June, July, August, Sept – be sure and request a room with an air conditioner. The Villa 1927 in Chapala is right on the Chapala malecon and it has A/C. A great location for visitors without a car. You can walk to Christiana Park, visit the museum at the Old Train Station, or just stroll the boardwalk, enjoy a margarita and the sunset, take a boat ride! Coming into Chapala the first hotel on the right side of the main road is the SR HOTEL, it also has air conditioning and much more quiet.
