Joy Journey

joy-fun-concept-girls-legs-red-sneakers-poppy-field-117953875Have you taken a joy journey recently? The horn is blowing “ALL ABOARD” Sing along with the “Impressions” — ” People get ready there’s a train a comin, you don’t need no baggage, you just get onboard. All you need is faith to hear the Spirit calling…you don’t need no ticket…you just thank the Lord.”  The past two years have been hard on all the peoples in this world. But, then there is God! Nothing can shut down, lock out, or silence the power of our prayers.  The truth is NO weapon formed against us will succeed!  Create a quiet space that beckons you to “come” and stay for awhile.  Choose to make your time of prayer fun and sing-along a song that lifts your spirit! Spend time in a conversation that will lead and guide you through whatever steps you need to take. The One who loves us and provides for all our needs is waiting  Go ahead and squeal with glee, knowing that our Father is thrilled for the time you have to dedicate to Him. Take time to chill in His Presence.  Invite Him to still your thoughts as you examine your heart for anything that may prevent His JOY from invading your soul!  Ask the Holy Spirit to dominate your thinking.  Ask Him to keep your mind on things above!”200dcae065c7f839310f263856a77ea3

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9 Does my face reflect the Joy that abides in me? Have I unmasked myself so that the Joy of the Lord can infect others? Ask yourself “What am I reading and whose voice am I listening to?” Whatever we feed our soul should be lovely, true, noble and decent.  As we apply Truth to our ‘thought diet’ we can then broadcast words of wisdom filled with hope. The infectious smile we choose to flash will draw the lost ones to His light. Hang on tight to the truth of God’s love and the miraculous power we have “in Him”. Listen to your thoughts, and catch any grumbling. Cast it down with genuine praise for ALL His ways, even when we do not understand.  The JOY He gives is not dependent upon our circumstance. Think of Paul in a dreary, dark, stinking prison — praising God! His jailer wanted what Paul had!fb262ed20c25ceca

“In this way I will test them and see whether they will follow My instructions.” Exodus 16:4 Be aware of how you respond to the test, the trial, the sickness, the lockdown.  Do you choose to bring joy into the room —regardless of how you feel?  Did you ask the Holy Spirit for courage and strength to do whatever He asks you to do? Direct any groaning or questioning of God’s will to be gone ! Do not lie to yourself, it is NOT those outside of us, but it is up to us — to police our stinking thinking! Will we trust the voice of our Shepherd and obey, or will we question His ways?  His ways never disappoint us, they may seem odd to the watching world, but when we obey a word from the Lord, we will bring Him glory. Look for the lesson in your obedience and carry on.  We train our minds by asking self “what is good about this?” in all situations we must choose to flip the switch in our head to seek what GOD would have us do in any given situation. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you direction moment by moment and trust that He will. When our faith is tested — the experience will always sharpen our connection and commitment to Christ.  We keep believing and trusting that — in the unseen battle — we win.  God said it, therefore we proclaim it, because we believe it. We are His certain victory,  but not without a fight. To blindly declare that everything will be okay, simply because God is good and gracious, is beyond naive; it is unbiblical and untrue. An accurate accounting is not only sound wisdom, it is the compassionate truth that draws people towards Him. Over the last 60 years, God has been pushed from America’s heart by strongholds of pride, materialism, humanism, and pleasure. God was expelled from schools, government, and out of the workplace and playground.  The ability to deny the blatant depravity is gone! Once again we are fortified as we praise God.   ❤️ The Lord says…Be glad and rejoice with all your heart…The Lord has taken away your punishment,, He has turned back your enemy. The Lord, the King of Israel, is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in His love He will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:170cd36f2dbd1c591e

CONFESSION TIME:  “If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.” 1 john 1:8  Admitting our propensity to disobey, doubt, lie, exaggerate or lose faith, does not shock our Father.  He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. People notice a change in our attitude when we are in the fire. Your glowing light draws others into the AMAZING, transforming kingdom of God. Shut down the Liar with the Truth!  “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all…..Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is 29541760_609343769404176_3596552758101498016_nright, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.  Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice.”   Choose the TRUTH not the lie. Nothing will be able to bother you when you agree with God’s thoughts about you and others!  Bottom line…don’t sweat the small stuff…let it go, and think whatever is lovely! Rejoice always, go ahead and be childlike and giggle as you prepare to meet Jesus in the clouds! Take time like the butterfly and “be still”. Know God is always at work in those who seek Him. He can transform a caterpillar into a whole new creature, only when the caterpillar settles down, forms a cocoon, and allows God to knit together a brand new thing with wings! Fly like a bumble bee straight into the fragrance of God’s Word and suck in the milk and honey!be3be62d5fd8f22e

Be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Yes, when we are obedient to capture every thought… “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”17c0f98deda74f80

Satan has no intention of letting up in his relentless assault on America, but the remnant is also relentlessly believing as they pray and we are winning more souls. Transformed Teens are rising up and worshipping in spirit. 85-year-old veteran warriors are storming the throne of grace, Calebs are picking up their swords, Elijahs are now challenging the prophets of Baal.  Mega-church pastors have traded their innovative performances for the power of Holy Spirit.  Thousands of starving followers have decided against shallow sermons as they seek pulpits of the entire Word of God.  Fed-up moms, dads, soldiers, business people and patriots – ALL have decided to confront and replace power hungry politicians. Satan knows his time is short, and so does God’s vast army of saints!!! Give God 60 minutes daily. ❤️ What can reading the Bible do for you? Is your spirit restless? Are you searching for truth? Need a Healing?

    • “No man is greater than his prayer life. The pastor who is not praying is playing; the people who are not praying are straying. The pulpit can be a shop window to display one’s talents v.s. the prayer closet allows no showing off. Poverty-stricken as the Church is today in many things, she is most stricken here, in the place of prayer. —-We have many organizers, but few agonizers; many players and payers —few pray-ers; many singers — few clingers; lots of pastors — few wrestlers; many fears — few tears; much fashion, little passion— many interferers, few intercessors— many writers, but few fighters. Failing here, we fail everywhere.”-Leonard Ravenhill, “Why Revival Tarries”

  1. “Do NOT be afraid for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will hold you up with My victorious right hand.” Isaiah 41:10 😍 To be used to build God’s kingdom we must be confident that God is on our side, and that supernaturally He operates through us even when we feel fear, inadequate or overwhelmed. Tragedies persist, but our Father will never abandons those who listen and obey His instructions through the Holy Spirit. He sends servants with a word, listen to them. Incline your ear to the Holy Spirit – Behold He brings blessings or disaster according to our obedience. “This is the day the Lord has made and I choose to rejoice in it” It is thrilling to see how the Holy Spirit will use our struggles to deepen our walk with Him. It is a privilege to partner with our Sovereign God in His work. Today is a new beginning. Expect joy, tests, challenges and victory through Him. To continue to find joy in our journey, we surrender and pick up our cross asking “God how do You want Me to use my time today, what is Your plan?” We are purified through tests. Our Lord promised there would be suffering. All who suffer are in good company. ❤️ John 20:20 Jesus “showed them His hands and side… “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent Me, I am sending you.” ❤️ With that He breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.” God deposited the Holy Spirit in us. All the days of our life were written in His book before our birth. His purpose is that we persevere and grow closer through suffering with joy. As Paul sang in chains, what happened? Listen, the Holy Spirit will guide. Obey.
