Honoring “Who” gives holy, satisfying, living water. Lord, our free choice is to hang onto the hope we have in You. To cling to the faith we have been given. Truth is certain, eternity is sure. We live in poetic times. Troubles come and…troubles go…it is God Himself that promises, mayhem will encircle this globe. One thing is sure…as we endure, His rescue effort will secure. We adamantly try to circumvent …to avoid evil’s shadowy pit. Yet doing our best from east to west, we hear and see atrocities expressed.

From dawn to dusk we strive to live beyond restraint… but alas, we remember the ancients, the saints before us…who shined in character without a complaint. What Moses, Job, Joseph faithfully did — we must do! Fearlessly,
hold onto our faith and praise God for His will is done. No weapon formed against us prospers, the battle is His, we won. Be glad, in times such as these to shine for His glory.”

❤️ Our dependency on our faithful Father brings us strength and joy. Suffering leads all to depend on our ever present Lord. Our physical condition, our discomfort, challenges us to mature in our faith. As David is stalked as prey, before he speaks of his situation, his eyes focus on Jesus as he pens, “The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”

Hebrews 4 “Therefore, since we have a great High Priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” I thank God for the gifts He has given me. Faith to discern, to encourage, to be His witness, His child, His ambassador, His hand  His voice, His scribe for such a time as this.  2023 a year of sowing and reaping.
