By God’s perfect design we are all different, but we are all one “in Him” Let that sink in. There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. 1 Corinthians 12:4-6

Spiritual gifting is explained with the principle of diversity and unity in God’s family. It is easy for believers to focus on their own gifts, ministries and believe those who are different are not living in the Spirit. Yet our God has a glorious diversity in the way He does things. We should never expect it to be all according to our own emphasis and preference.

It may seem that all believers were commissioned to share the Gospel, but not all have the gift of teaching, evangelism, or discipleship. We must be careful NOT to focus so much on the giftings — that we miss the unity in God the Father. We are NOT Gods robots, we are His uniquely gifted chosen. Peter, Luke, Paul, or Priscilla, Esther, Ruth — all were used by God. Thank God for someone else’s gifts and ministry and seek unity with them. God does not salute favoritism, but He favors unity. Use your gift to glorify God and salute others. God is love and He loves no matter how we exercise our faith in what He is able to accomplish through us. AMEN
