Reach Out

“If I can just touch His clothes,” she thinks, “I will be healed.” Mark 5:28 The woman was desperate, she had been banished from her family, from any human contact for 12 years. By law she was unclean, therefore she was forbidden to touch anyone. Her FAITH in doctors was zero, she had spent all she had on their remedies, but she kept on bleeding. Her only HOPE was in this Holy Man. We can only imagine that she heard a rumor of how Jesus had healed the cripple of 38 years at Bethesda. Desperate to re-enter community, without a name, she pressed on through a large crowd. — Humbly she lowered herself to crawl near enough to touch the hem of His garment. With her identity hidden, she overcame her fear of being unclean and pushed through. She only believed in the mighty power of the Messiah! This rejected, penniless, isolated, single woman without influence, or education was asked “Who touched Me?”

That day she triumphed over her lonely isolation, her 12 years of rejection, worry and fear —by the Word of God, and her immediate confession “It was me, as soon as I touched Your garment, I was healed and now I am clean!” Her VICTORY occured because of her faith in Jesus, the Healer, the Messiah. “He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world” As believers today, our resident Holy Spirit is ready to restore us, to make us clean, to heal us. The Holy Spirit trumps the Liar who whispers we are not good enough. He tells us the truth and beckons us “Just Come as you are.” Gleefully surrender and be washed as white as snow! Declare the victory and welcome Jesus Christ as your Lord!

Perhaps you are desperate for a change, a healing, a second chance. You too have nothing to give, but you are hurting. You hesitate to come to Jesus because others seem to know more about Him. They appear so clean, trim and fit in their faith. If that describes you, note carefully, that in this large crowd, Jesus commended her alone for her great faith. It was not a wealthy giver, a loyal follower, or an acclaimed teacher. It was a shame filled desperate outcast who clutched onto her hope in Jesus. Rev 12:11 “They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony.” AMEN

Imagine being locked down for 12 years without any human touch. John 3:16-17 “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.” Reach out, ask Jesus to forgive your sins and to be your Lord and Savior. A Well of Oath

December 21, 2021 I was awakened at 3:30 AM from a vivid dream of being viciously persecuted, mocked, and harrassed for my faith in Jesus. Immediately I began to praise God for all the people who have ever attempted to stop me by a mean spirited word. “He dwells within the praises of His people.” Sing songs, read the Psalms and just BELIEVE that every Word of God is true, and the Holy Spirit abides in you. If you are desperate, REACH OUT to Jesus and ask Him to wake up your soul. Return to your first LOVE. As runaway kids, Jesus will run to meet us whereever we are at. PRAY that the Holy Spirit reveal Himself in the deepest pockets of your heart. PRAY from the depth of your gut for renewal, strength and healing. His great plan for you includes endless grace, mercies, and a purpose in your suffering. Recount your blessings and PRAISE HIM for all He has lavished upon you. God is Love, God is a Spirit, and God is all powerful and willing to forgive all who cry out to Him. May your ears hear what the Spirit of God is saying. It is NOT by our will, our knowledge about God, or our best efforts, but it is ONLY by His transforming grace, that our Abba Father draws the lost, and the broken hearted back to Himself. It is by the power of His love that UNITES all denominations, and races. You are His beloved vessel of confidence in what He can accomplish though your willingness. All glory to God for how He plans to use you to bless all those He puts in your path. You are His beloved, His chosen, His adopted and anointed with special gifts to glorify our King. Good Grief

May His unstoppable, immeasurable LOVE overwhelm you. Jesus Christ is not a story, He is the TRUTH. The FACTS of our personal transformation by the blood of the Lamb, is our VICTORY! Our testimony, our miracle is worth repeating – however, what we CELEBRATE, healed or not —- is that our names are in His book!

  1. “While we were yet sinning” God’s mercy came upon us, we repented, He forgave us and anointed us as His ambassadors to represent Him, as we walk in faith with a backbone fortified by the Holy Spirit. Faith without works is dead and useless, so we continuously out our salvation by actively obeying God’s Word. The Creator of the Universe has given everyone a measure of faith and we activate our faith by walking surrendered to the Holy Spirit within. Praise God for His plan that we are alive in Him, for such a time as this. His expressed concern that He may not find faith on the earth when He returns, is our call to step out in bold faith, hope and love. The greatest of His commands is that we love Him, ourselves and one another. Our obedience to this command is how we will represent Him best during these end times. Perfect love casts out fear, so we fix our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. No matter the incident, circumstance or what fear is being promoted in the world, we hold onto the faith our Father delivered into us, and recite scripture just as Jesus did when tempted. Perfect Love was what grew cold for most and Jesus rebuked the Church at Ephesus for letting their first love get pushed aside by the cares of this world. Despite the rebukes and commandments God gave His people NOT to fear, those with little faith or mind to obey, feared. We need to heed His Word and warnings and “FEAR NOT”. Read God’s Word to you. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you understanding that you may fully digest and assimilate His love for you. Allow He who is in us to calm our hearts as we grip tightly to His promises. Our Father desires our obedience over sacrifice. We overcome evil by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. Our personal testimony is developed through trials and we are sanctified by His grace in our trials. We fall short, we miss the mark, we admit our weakness, and He is strong to forgive, and issue more love, mercy and grace. The testing of our faith is what purifies us. Dive deep into His Word and be fortified for His glory. Yahweh has promised us the victory through our Lord Jesus – to overcome the evil in this world. Amen
