FAITH comes by hearing so READ GOD’S Word out loud. The Promise Keeper always stands up against the adversity, and He gave us a VOICE to quiet the storm in our head. With His wisdom, we are to rightly discern whose voice we are listening to? We trust God as much as we KNOW God. We must surrender our resistance, our doubts, our fears and trust God. Mark 4:35-41 Jesus said to His disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.” There are 2 sides in every conversation, 2 sides of our story, and 2 voices all the time. Jesus gives us the authority and the victory each time we choose His voice, His promise, His Way. Choose to listen to God and recite His promise. “I will never leave you”

Karen led us in worship and Billie asked us what did God reveal in your heart about who you are? Many shared a word, a picture, as the gentle whisper entered their minds. Billie dug deeper. James 1:2 “Consider it pure JOY… WHENEVER you face trials of many kinds!” During a health issue, rejection, abuse, or offense, we choose to REJOICE why? Because our FAITH increases through the trial. Because we trust God and He said that the testing of our faith produces perseverance. We choose to let perseverance finish its work so that we may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. When we don’t know the next step, or what might happen? We ask the Holy Spirit “What would you have me say or do?” — Wait, pause, listen. Scripture says when we lack wisdom, we are to ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault. We were made in His image for His purpose. What is your image of God?

Billie had us read Scripture with our name in it. 1 Corin 13:1-4 ❤️ If Barbara spoke in the tongues of men or of angels, but she did not have love, or be the possession, the container of God’s love, Barbara would only be a noise, a gong — an annoying sound. If Barbara had the gift of prophecy and could fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, if she has faith that can move mountains, but does not have love, Barbara is nothing. The Way to deliver TRUTH as your direct order to mind, place your name in it: Barbara is a possession of Gods love. She is His instrument of peace and she chooses to be patient and kind. Barbara does not envy, she does not boast, she is humble not proud. She chooses not to gossip or dishonor others, she is not self-seeking, she is not easily angered, and Barbara keeps no record of wrongs. The love of God in her does NOT delight in evil but chooses to rejoice always in the truth. Confidently, Barbara walks in authority knowing that with her voice she slays the enemy. The devil must obey her command, therefore she is always protected, she always trusts in the power of God, and she chooses to always hope in the Promises of God, as He always perseveres. God never fails Barbara. Prophecies will cease; tongues will be stilled; and knowledge will pass away, but God — NEVER changes and He is eternal and He will get all the GLORY..

Jan Hicks delivered the afternoon session. She gave us a brilliant summary of how our brains work. Her life verse is 🍃 Rev 12:11. We overcome the devil by the blood of the Lamb, and the Word of our testimony. AMEN – NONE of us are who we were before. The moment His Spirit took up residence in us, He began to operate in us. A memory full of pain 💔 usually has some bitterness, some regrets to heal. We must choose to surrender; our pain, our ways, our stratedy, and our plans to fix it. When we lay it all at His feet, He stands up in us and calms our storm. Instead of asking “wheres your faith?” We will one day hear Him say, “well done, thanks for trusting Me.” Scripture says “Walk this way” but we often want to know what will happen if we do? God is faithful, and we keep walking His way, choosing our thoughts wisely. Our Father used Jan to show us some NEW stuff today. The Holy Spirit is our unchanging filter. He calls us to enter into a listening relationship.

Be still, Know, Listen and Receive. Whatever image we have of God in our mind, that is the image we will eventually conform to be. Ask your spirit: Is the Holy Spirit my Guide, my Counselor, My teacher, My Comforter, the Healer? YES, YES, YES LORD —- OK, while praying, is 50 % of your time listening? Does the all powerful Holy Spirit truly dwell in me? Do I trust Him with my life? Is there nothing to fear here, because God is here? Will the Holy Spirit give me words to speak and minister to others? Does God go on vacation? Is God faithful to His word? Do I have the freedom to choose my thoughts? Do my thoughts honor God? Am I willing to speak Gods truth about me, or do I simply echo what the Deceiver has said about me? Where does my strength come from when I am weak? As we choose to question God and ourselves, He speaks back to us through His Word, His promises and through others.

Move the details around in your brain and choose to insert God’s bigger plan, with a picture of you participating. Our mind is responsible to make choices and our choices determine our mood and destiny. The brain works all night long sorting through all that we saw, heard and felt. Our brains will be working overtime to file all the great words that both Billie and Jan and Karen poured out in lyrics. We are responsible to capture our thoughts and discern where to file it. Is it Trash, or is it a keeper? We have authority to direct our emotions, and our thoughts. We can choose to not fear, and to cancel satans agenda to keep us all locked up, feeling stuck.

Speak His Word with authority. “Leaving the crowd behind, they took Him along, just as He was, in the boat. A furious STORM came up, and the waves broke over the boat… Jesus was in the BOAT sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke JESUS and said to Him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?” He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. JESUS said to His disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” Do we have faith in God, the storm or the Liar?

They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey Him!” Our Father is a Promise Keeper, Healer, Provider, a Waymaker, our Authority, and He calls us His own, and He asked us to step out in FAITH and minister to others with the VOICE HE gave us. Jesus take the wheel! HANDS OFF, Holy Spirit, I will trust YOU to do what You need to do in me so that I can RECEIVE MORE of what You have for me. Be bold, and say “Go ahead Lord, exceed my best expectations, I am ready to receive whatever You planned for me!”

Anchored into Holy Spirit, we ask You Lord to remind us of your Promises. We purpose and choose to be transformed by the renewing of our mind. Thank You Father for giving me the nudge, the opportunity to change my mind within the backward count of 5,4,3,2,1. God has something NEW, something GREATER, something MORE for me to entertain, to savor, to chew on. Lord Your Word says that I know what the perfect will of God is, as He gave me the gift of discernment. My thoughts dictate my mood and actions, therefore I choose to follow the Holy Spirit’s lead, in FAITH, and I act without hesitation, trusting Him to make it count for His glory. Holy Spirit shine Your light on any dark place in me that I may confess it. Jesus is faithful to show me His Way, the Truth, so I can be the Light, and beam His Love in any situation.

Willfully and gladly I choose to adopt an Attitude of Gratitude. READ the book by Tommy Newberry “4:8 Principle” Joy is HIS Promise and it our choice to accept it, believe it and receive it. Expressing gratitude verbally positively changes our brain. Don’t live in pain, or depression, change the address of where you live to match God’s Word. His will for us always TRUMPS the trickster. Make a gratitude list, put it in your phone, in your wallet on a card. Rehearse it like a favorite song. Thank God and that will boost dopamine which improves your mood immediately. Pleasure, hope, and great expectations are released. With your voice of authority, recite a list of blessings. Repeat, and feed your spirit to overflowing. Practice gratitude until it becomes who you are. Peace stands up in your vessel and calms all the storms. We are — where His peace abides.

We choose to rise each day with a routine of 7 before 7 am. 1) choose to abide in Him this day 2) Read one scripture 3) Make bed 4) Ask Holy Spirit to use you to bless someone today 5) Sing a song of praise 6) Walk outside and look up and shout Hallelujah a blank page. 7) Look in the mirror and see the face of God smiling back at you. NOW get dressed in your armor and walk in His authority. Knowing His ministering angels are surrounding us — we are stilled and stunned by His constant, careful eye.

Suck in all the living water you can and share from His abundance. Our God is faithful to bring us MORE as we expect His fullness to overflow through us with a word, a gentle voice, a holy kiss, hug, with a countenance that radiates and attracts others. When you encounter oddballs, upsets, resistance, and the ugly on this broken planet – PAUSE reset: 5,4,3,2,1 and choose wisely. Where do we get wisdom? Just ask the Holy Spirit, He waits to deliver yhe best of the best. Feed your spirit the TRUTH and choose to kill the complaint of the flesh. Walk and read the Bible out loud. It is active even when we don’t understand it. Choose to walk and becime a testimony of a forgiving living. Today What’s NEW?

My Father woke me up at 4 AM today to pray for His Spirit to minister to us all, deeply. I had to stop on my way to pick up Susan to write THESE WORDS: ✍️
Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have; but what I do have I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth— and His mighty power, I say get up and walk!” Acts 3:6
“As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” Joshua 24:15
I am NOT confined to the titles of man. I am NOT defined by a personality type that says I cannot be changed or transformed by the Spirit of God. My identity is NOT determined by how world has divided the Body of Christ into numerous denominations. I am not Catholic, Baptist, Lutheran, Charasmatic, Pentecostal, Reformed, Methodist, Presbyterian, Southern, Northern, Western or otherwise. I am a child of God. Matthew 5:9 “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.”
Galatians 3:26-28 “So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
Thank you beautiful Savior! We bless your mighty name Jesus! Father, bless your people today as we walk in the authority that You have given us to do Your work, for Your Kingdom, and for Your radiant glory! Amen
Acts 2:39 “The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.”
