A Silent Night

Twas the night before Jesus returned, and just as God predicted, many lamps were running short of oil. Soon, like a thief in the night, within the time frame of a blink, those with bright lamps shining and hearts expecting — their beds, chairs, and cars will be emptied in a supernatural twinkling.

Within this generation that God promised would not pass away, our Holy God witnesses same sex weddings and babies being aborted. His beloved people are feeling entitled, greedy, angry, and disappointed. Their bitterness and unforgiveness locks out the freedom our Savior was sent to deliver. Tragically, millions of Bibles sadly collect dust as a generation ponders if God really cares or even exists.

Starved of the Truth, kids dress up to shop and sing about Santa. Few know about the cost to Jesus, His blood or His cross. Evil has become normal as Mom’s raise kids while listening to lies. God sees mutilated transgenders entertaining the innocents as nations seek to control mankind with fear and weapons. Imagine two men in the field, and two women grinding away in the kitchen. Without notice, one is elevated into the air, while the other stands stunned and baffled “God is not real, nor is He fair!”

Suddenly, out of the East a loud blast causes all to seek what on EARTH is going on? Away to the window they fly like a flash, shutters thrown up in their mad dash. Bewildered ears hear angels proclaiming that Jesus was here. Worldwide, people gone missing into a light brighter than the sun. God’s dazzling ray of Truth did what was planned on this glory filled DAY of the Lord!

The light of His face made all who had mocked Jesus tremble. He returned for His faithful and humble. All worldly wealth can NOT purchase a place on God’s sealed scroll. The King of kings held the Book of Life in His hand. Every name recorded had believed in Jesus, their soul saved by His blood. All names written there, He gathered up to take to where – the Wedding Supper of the Lamb was held. Those waiting and ready, He snatched up without a sound. The rest of mankind were left standing around. With a shout, graves opened, and the dead in Christ were also raised in glory!

I fell to my knees, but it was too late, I had waited too long and thus sealed my fate. I cried as they rose out of sight; Oh, if only I had been ready tonight. The words of this stories meaning is clear, the return of Jesus is drawing near.

There is only One Life, One Way, One Truth and when the last trumpet sounds, the world will find that the Bible was true to the very last jot and tittle! Matthew chapter 24 prepares hearts of what to expect. Faithfully, our Creator has been patient and merciful, and distributing lavish grace. He told us all about chaotic signs that would happen. Faithful to His Word, Heaven and earth will pass away, but God’s words will never pass away. Believe and be changed or doubt God at His Word and suffer the worse that is coming.

Just like Noah was mocked, believers today are hated and laughed at. The world will keep on spinning out of control, while busy consuming all kinds of pleasures — up until THE DAY the Shepherd of God’s flock returns. Thousands will be snatched away, as millions are left behind to face the brutal consequence of dismissing God. Now is the time to ask the Holy Spirit for understanding and Revelation. Every knee will bow.

  1. KNOW GOD, READ THE BIBLE. ASK THE HOLY SPIRIT to give you understanding. Jesus is the fulfillment, He is the reality of the pictures painted all throughout the Old Testament. Lev 23:5 He was crucified at Passover. Lev 23:6 Jesus was buried as unleavened Bread. Lev 23:11 Jesus was resurrected at First Fruits. Lev 23:22 Jesus sent the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, the harvest. God’s Word says that these are lasting ordinances for all His people, for generations to come. First Fruits are celebrated during the Feast of Unleavened Bread. This first fruit represents the resurrection of Jesus and ours from the dead. (1 Cor 15:20) Fifty days later Pentecost was observed. The Holy Spirit descended upon the disciples and the Church, the Body of Christ was born. Rosh Hashanah or the Feast of the Trumpets is New Year’s Day for Israel and is celebrated in September or October. This feast points towards the future gathering of the scattered people of Israel (Zechariah 14:16) The Feat of Tabernacles commemorates the time when God’s people lived in tents in the wilderness, outdoors listening to the reading of God’s Word.
