Backgammon

Bring your board

STIMULATE INTEREST with the PERFECT ATMOSPHERE – to engage conversations and exercise our strategic thinking. The game is suitable for beginners and advanced players, and is portable to change locations. A social gathering for backgammon gamers.

This board shows the proper beginning set up of the chips. The game requires 2 players and one board. GOAL: Get all your chips into exiting off quadrant and then rolling dice to remove all your chips OFF board before your opponent. “Lord of the Board” The APP helps me to learn and practice moves.

BOARD has 4 QUADRANTS with 6 points in each quadrant. 1) Home quad 2) outer quad. 3) Closing quadrant 4) Exit quadrant

ROLL 2 DICE and MOVE DICE to exit quad:

A) Move one chip for the total number of both dice (5+6 =11) Move one chip 11 points.

B) Move 2 chips for total of dice (move one chip 5 points + move one chip 6 points)

There are rules, but mostly backgammon can be played without too much serious concentration. To begin there are common moves for a dice roll of a 6 + 5. To cover a pont that prevents your opponent from exting or moving forward. With 2 or more of your chips on a point, your opponent cannot land on that covered point. The stratedgy applies to a 3+ 1 as well. When rolling doubles, you can cover double points.
