Fasting and Prayer

Gladly we choose.

Fasting is an invitation to draw closer to God. God will finish what He started in each person that hungers for His Presence, for His righteousness, for His way, for His favor, for His blessings. Every delay is deliberate so that we will seek Him with all our hearts. Why the suffering? He builds our testimony for greater glory in His ways.

Giving to God what is His, Praying God’s Word over your life, family and city. Fast with a pure hearted desire to hear from God! We are blessed in our comings and goings every day. Pray for His anointing, Pray for the next generation of your family, pray for money miracles, and pray for angels to protect you. God is still working, and His delays are always deliberate. Thank Him for His ways are perfect. Visualize it

Praise God in the valley, seek His presence, and His promised provision in the deep. Jenetzen is a pastor’s kid, raised in church. At age 16, he cried out to God to preach with fire. He broke out in boils and suffered for a year. At age 17, he fasted and prayed for 21 days. We dwell within acres of diamonds. Seek the glimmer and shine for His glory. The anointing on a preacher is the same as it is for all who seek God and His kingdom.  The Holy Spirit is activated in us as we pause the noise. Change your words and change your outcome. God molds our speech, if we let Him. Isaiah 57:19 “I create the words on his lips.”

A career often ends with a retirement check. A calling is not over until you step into glory. Career rewards are visible but temporary. A calling lasts for eternity. When God calls people, He enables them to do beyond what is possible alone. A calling includes difficulty, suffering, rejection, which requires discernment and patience. Conduct a prayer probe of your heart.

Test the waters of a new calling, fast, and pray about it. Ask, ” What am I now doing that I could not do apart from God?”  Is there a challenge in your life that requires God’s hand? If we want to walk on water, we must get out of the boat. Assemble a clarity committee to help you remain humble. “Regard yourself with sober judgment.” The clarity committee helps you to see your passions clearly along with your weaknesses. God takes our work seriously. He grows our faith through various trials. “Do you trust Me?” He saved us, and He gifted us to bring Him glory through our work. We are not called just to work for God. We are called to work with God. At times, like Jeremiah, we will experience a crushing disappointment, but will we persist? People will oppose, disapprove, block, and resent those who are called. Praise God, as the Spirit of God enables us to endure all things. God taught Moses about the importance of trust. Moses had to pick up a snake first before it turned into a staff. Namaan had to wash 7 times. Joshua had to march around Jericho 7 times.  Joseph had to trust God to interpret a dream. Esther, John, Rahab, Amos, Peter — A first step of faith is required of all of God’s kids.

We will each face a day of great trouble, a ziglag day. What do we do on that day?
