A Word Fast

Resolve to conduct a 365 day FAST from negative words or suggested titles. With authority, reject any condemning thought. Refuse to  complain, grumble, or give space in your mind for words that disagree with God’s Word.  Look for His presence at work in every situation. This requires a deep dig. In our focused effort to uncover the jewel in the hardship, we find buried treasures!  Confident that God is faithful– assured that the Holy Spirit is ever with us. Speak truth with confidence in He who dwells within us. Ask and receive His daily guidance, we thrive in Fasting and Prayer

We fast from negativity and know that God is at work. He is pruning, preparing, renewing, restoring, and regenerating whatever is out of sync. Whatever is broken or out of whack, our part is to surrender and allow God to sift each word that comes out of our lips. Our Father tugs on our heart to “do this” and follow Me. Don’t pretend and keep your escape plan. Drop your anchor! Our Anchor of Hope, demands that that we use a sharp sword to slay the rope! Apply the daily challenge and ship worship up to the One who is always listening. Give yourself to prayer. You are His beloved anointed, His vessel, His child who has been set free. We are not a pitiful victim captured by hate or offense. Jesus came to set all captives free! We must eliminate our plan B. We must BELIEVE that plan A always works. Our FAITH is a gift.  By the command of Mr. Otis,  inside the crystal palace, a man with an axe cut the ropes, and the platform fell. If we cling to plan B, we will never rise to the level to reach God’s plan for us.

Don’t ever QUIT!

Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard what your motive to fast accomplishes. Your fast and prayers rips through darkness with great authority. It creates a space to allow God to shift atmospheres over nations. Fasting in humility, we draw close to God, and we position ourselves to heavens frequency. Protection during fasting is critical. Stay under the blood, for His heaven sent protection. Regular fasting gives greater fragrance in our worship. Understand that only fasting and prayer can permanently break chains of addiction while bringing Jesus joy. Partner with God’s purpose by fasting and praying.

“People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centered, FORGIVE them anyway. When we choose to be kind, people can be suspicious of our ulterior motives, Be KIND anyway. While being honest people may cheat you, Be HONEST anyway. What took you years to create, some will be envious and attempt to destroy,  CREATE anyway. As you radiate joy, some may get offended by your chosen positive attitude.  Be JOYFUL anyway. The truth is that the goodness you extend, some will mock, and all will certainly forget, do GOOD anyway. Without apology, be who God intends you to be, on purpose, with genuine thanksgiving for His lavish grace.

Reaping the rewards of our private sacrifice, God reveals who we can trust. We SUCCEED as we listen and obey our Father’s tug. In God’s FINAL judgment, our life choices will be measured by the King of all. For this reason, we choose to give THANKS to God for His endless mercy, grace, revelation, and forgiveness! Romans 8:16 “The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.” Hallelujah!

Trust in the Lord, and He will do just as He promised, as we do just as He commands. What a fantastic truth bomb. REJOICE in all things NEW! Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and He will dwell with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God. Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God, and they will be my children. The Revelation of Jesus!  “I am making everything NEW!” The first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old (world) order of things has passed away.” Jesus said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty, I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life.” WOW 👌Read the book of Revelation chapter 21 in awe! “The Spirit helps us in our weakness. Our Helper is on duty 24/7.

Under His shield of protection

Isaiah 26:3-4 “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast,
because they trust in You. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord Himself, is the Rock eternal.” When we submit to the Holy Spirit, He keeps us in perfect peace. A steadfast mind is directed by the Word of God. Waves may crash against the Rock, but God does not budge. His Will is done regardless if folks agree with His Way.   Thank God for His daily direct connection and direction! The Holy Spirit grants us words to speak before we open our mouths. The Spirit illuminates us regarding God’s will.  Our Father continues to ambush us with amazing grace and great purpose! It is a joy to be indwelt and gladly obey.

A daily FAST from words of criticism, complaining, or group grumbling is a practice that pleases our Father. Capture every thought and select only words that ignite faith! We declare God is good, and we give Him our hearts and minds. Don’t ignore the hurt

A New Yorker speaks truth

D.L. MOODY – anything is possible. Edify with gentle words of persuasion and honor God and submit to His superior ways.  “We prove ourselves by our purity, our willing acceptance, and our patience to wait on the Lord, our sincere love, and our reliance on the Holy Spirit within us.” 2 Corin 6:6. “She opens her mouth with wisdom, and in her tongue is the teaching of kindness.”

Romans 12:1-8 “I urge you, brothers and sisters, in VIEW of GOD ’s MERCY, to OFFER your BODIES as a LIVING sacrifice, HOLY and PLEASING to God—this is your TRUE and PROPER WORSHIP.  Do NOT conform to the pattern of this world, but BE TRANSFORMED by the RENEWING of your MIND. Then you will be ABLE to TEST and APPROVE what God’s WILL is—HIS good, pleasing and perfect WILL. For by the GRACE given me I say to every one of you: Do NOT THINK of YOURSELF more HIGHLY than you ought, but rather THINK of yourself with SOBER judgment, in ACCORDANCE with the FAITH God has distributed to each of you. For just as each of us has ONE BODY with MANY MEMBERS, and these members do not all have the same FUNCTION, so IN CHRIST we, though many, form ONE body, and EACH member BELONGS to ALL the others. We have DIFFERENT gifts, according to the GRACE given to each of us. If your GIFT is prophesying, then PROPHESY in accordance with your FAITH;
If it is serving, then SERVE; if it is teaching, then TEACH; if it is to ENCOURAGE, then give encouragement; if it is GIVING, then give generously; if it is to LEAD, do it diligently; if it is to show MERCY, do it CHEERFULLY.” One final departing thought Jesus shared with His disciples. “Abide in Me, and I will abide in you.” All of God’s Word ministers to us, but this Scripture is asking us to be still and know Jesus is God. He does not  depart from us. We decide not to get distracted.  Psalm 91. “He put His angels in charge of you.”

Be made new in the attitude of your minds. Replace timidity with boldness. Think thoughts that elevate, express positive views.  Ponder all the beauty and grab hold of who made life glorious.  Every sunrise and sunset is a reminder that we are blessed.  Who allows the sunrise and sunset? Who fills our nostrils with oxygen? Day after day, be thankful. We are privileged to live the abundant life as God’s willing servants. We owe God all praise for His continuous mercy. AMEN

Welcome another day with genuine gratitude.  Age is a monumental blessing. The vantage point of reflecting back through decades, is that we recognize the long enduring faithfulness of God. For our Father’s love endures forever. He is our confidence, and His hand continues to guide with gentleness.  Praise God for the greater  grace given over time.  He creates whatever our lips declare, so we are careful with our words so we honor God. The Holy Spirit has taught us many valuable lessons!

Listen, the Spirit is speaking

One of many admirable character traits of my husband is that he is faithful and exacting. He likes things done thoroughly. He is ever careful to use precise, accurate words. He speaks truth without deceit or exaggeration. My husband is my best friend. He responds well to my frequent surprise ideas. He rapidly answers all my questions. Michael was hand-picked by God to be my mate. He is my personal Bible commentary.

Socially, people often tend to embellish their storytelling to enhance the interest. Michael details how it is — truthfully. When he relates a childhood adventure, it is without a bit of stretching the truth.  Even in small matters, my husband chooses his words with wisdom. We respect one another just as we are and delight in our differences. We enjoy the culture, and our church family in Mexico.

Pour out Your power and love, as we sing holy, holy, holy.” 🎵 Open the eyes of our hearts, 💕 Lord, that we see and indulge in the full banquet of Your love and our salvation. The complete height, depth, width and length of our inheritance in You. ✝ Broaden our view of Who we serve, sharpen our FOCUS with a spiritual understanding of how we can best participate in what You are doing in us, and through us for Your glory. ✡ Deepen our HOPE and expand our capacity to LOVE others.❤️ Deliver unto us the full knowledge of the immense RICHES of the precious Blood that was shed for us and that continues to cover and protect us. 2. January 7, 2025 reading my Jesus Lives Devotional that was gifted to me by my sister Paula Straw on my birthday 2013. “My promises are ripe with abundant blessings and since Barbara honors the name of Jesus, you are free to enjoy healing in our intimacy. Exuberant joy cannot be contained, so go forth today and tell others about the glorious time we shared together ❤️ ”

Today I meet with Liz Naidorf 💕 to rejoice as we read Releasing the Spirit by Watchman Nee. Cafe Negro on the 7th day of this new exciting year. Prayers for President Trump and his cabinet picks. AMEN

“Unto you who reverence and fear the name above every name, Jesus, those Sons and daughters of God shall arise rejoicing. Covered by the healing in His wings, they pray that His beams of light destroy all dark strongholds against all future leaders of the land. Trump is released from the bondage of the Liar and his schemes. Nothing shall prevent the work that God has ordained. Like a young calf set free from the stall, Trump triumphantly leaps for joy in the freedom that God has given him to lead America as a God fearing nation once again.

  3. Moving into Spirit requires a decision to surrender all to He who is able, to He who is greater, to He who knows best, to He who is patiently waiting for us to lean on Him and not our best move, our own understanding. Relying on the Spirit to take over — we wait, we listen, we trust His tug, and follow. Our purpose is to use the gift of faith He gave us and walk on water with our eyes on Jesus. He calls us to hold onto the HOPE that HE is, and that He will always be. Our Provider tests our faith when we believe in the unseen hand that opens doors that no man can shut. By our faith, we are healed, we are encouraged, we are led, and we are blessed. We desperately need Jesus in every hour. His wisdom is available 24/7 in His living, working Word. We BECOME who He wrote about in Hus Book when we let go of the limits we place on ourselves. As citizens of heaven, we are marked with His seal of approval. Our Father has us on a long leash, and then He tugs us back closer Him in prayer and fasting. Bhoyle
