God sent Elijah, who had a strong personality to warn a king, then Elijah fled in fear. God then sent a different personality to draw the evil king into confidence. We must agree that God’s Way is superior. His plan is that none should perish. All Scripture was God breathed for our soul’s renewal and edification. The evil king was bad company, but God sent three to warn him. Scripture also warns us that bad company corrupts our faith and trust in God. ❤️ 1 Corin 15:33 “Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.” Praise God for His living and active Word that divides soul and spirit. Pastor Gary expounded on the different gifts in the Body of Christ. Abundant Life Church
Numbers 14 “All the Israelites grumbled against Moses and Aaron, and the whole assembly said to them, “If only we had died in Egypt! Or in this wilderness! The Lord is slow to anger, abounding in love and forgiving sin and rebellion. Yet God does not leave the guilty unpunished.” My times are in God’s hand and His face shines upon me. We have no greater hope or refuge. The enemy runs around the globe, using all kinds of nets and traps to make souls of God his victim. But GOD! Many are the fiery darts of the wicked one. But our shield of faith not only quenches fiery darts, but it breaks arrows of steel. Though the javelins of the foe are dipped in the venom of hell, our shield of faith holds us harmless. How can I trust that I am in God’s hand? All things are ordained of God and are settled according to His sovereignty. Whatsoever happens on earth is no surprise to God who knows all. God has mapped out the pathway of every soul who traverses the earth. We speak boldly “His kingdom is mine!” this is a royal claim. Be intentional and careful to obey God. Do not be busy in good works and neglect loving God with glad obedience. Jesus obeyed the Father and gave His life for us. What more could you want? You live in the world, but the Maker of the world, set you apart for Himself. There is no way to measure the goodness of God. “My times are in Thy hand.” This is a most cheering fact. Have no fear as to your current shifting circumstances since all things are in the divine hand of God. The Lord has placed us in the hollow of His mighty hand. To be entirely at the disposal of God is life and liberty for us all who trust in Him. Our days are filled with swinging emotions that rise and fall. In health or sickness, in poverty or wealth, we rest in the hand of the Lord. He arranges and appoints all times according to His holy will. The length of our days are in His capable hands. Choose to rejoice in His delight to bless through all good and hard times. Ask for wisdom to understand.

Whether we are in times of revival or survival, we rest securely in His mighty hand. Whatever is to come out of our life is because of His will and His work of grace in us. Our education in this life comes as we mature in Him. We are not in the hands of earthly teachers, but we are under the skillful operation of hands which made nothing in vain. We shall not die before our time, neither shall we be forgotten and left upon the earth too long. His goodness chases us into praising God for the very atmosphere of His loving presence. We dwell within the palm of God’s hand. Submit and be absolutely at His full disposal. We are His chosen Ambassadors of grace. David sang out. Psalm 31:15-16 “My times are in Your hands; deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me. Let Your face shine on Your servant; save me in Your unfailing love.” Praise God always. “In Your unfailing love You will lead the people You have redeemed. In Your strength You will guide them to Your holy dwelling.” Soon after the people grumbled against Moses, saying, “What are we to drink?” Right after walking through the red sea they grumbled, they complained. Their Salvation was not enough? Be grateful for the FAITH to believe, trust God, and obey Him. Exodus 15:13 ❤️ “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:8-9 Open minds seek truth with eagerness. “They received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. As a result, many of them believed.” Acts 17:11-12 ❤️ Our acts of obedience is a way we love God. Live on purpose with careful attention of God’s warnings. His grace and love are the source of warmth when we are rejected. Jesus is the light when we are surrounded by darkness. Our love back to God is communicated by our glad obedience. He teaches us all we need to navigate in this world among Wise, Foolish, Evil people.

“Oh God, You are my God; early I will seek You. My soul thirsts for You in a dry and thirsty land. I look for You in the sanctuary of my soul to see Your transforming power at work, for Your glory. Because Your loving kindness is BETTER than life.” Psalm 63 ❤️ When you are grateful for Life – not this part of Life or that part of Life, but Life in Christ and all that It brings you, you are riding in a chariot of His fire. Let us give thanks to the Lord for He is good. “Truly my soul silently waits for God. From Him comes my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved. My soul waits silently for God alone, for my expectation is from Him. He only is my Rock and my salvation. Trust in Him all you people, pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.” Psalm 62

“In Your unfailing love You will lead the people You have redeemed. In Your strength You will guide them to Your holy dwelling.” Soon after this word, the people grumbled against Moses, saying, “What are we to drink?” It was right after they escaped slavery and walked through the red sea. They forgot, and grumbled, they complained? People today also forget all that God has provided. When our Salvation is not enough to give thanks for, beware of the company you keep. Be grateful for the FAITH to believe, trust God, and obey Him. Exodus 15:13. God warns us that bad company corrupts. “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:8-9
❤️ Romans 15:13 “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
❤️ Proverbs 30:5 “Every word of God is flawless; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.”
❤️ John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
❤️ Psalm 37:3-5 “Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him and He will do this.”
❤️ 1 Corinthians 15:33 “Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”

I renounce the lie, that I don’t measure up! I renounce the lie, that I’m unworthy of God’s love. So when shame comes knocking, and fear starts talking…I will lift my hands 🙌 in my Lord’s holy presence, and He reminds me of who I am in Him! I am adopted, I am beloved, it’s my inheritance, I’m a child of God. So when the liar, starts mouthing off, I’ll sing in confidence, my adoption song. WHOA, WHOA – I found my family, where I belong. I rebuke any spirit that’s tried to keep me bound — and I plead the blood of Jesus, the accuser has no ground! My future’s given, my name is written – in His nail-scarred hands. So on this day and eternally, I know whose I am. I am adopted, I am beloved, it’s my inheritance, I’m a child of God. So when the liar starts whispering lies, I simply begin praising and defeating the devil and his silly schemes! 😃 I sing in confidence my adoption song in my church where I belong. Yeah, nothing’s gonna take the place of truth! No weaponized word ever said against me — reduces the power of the name of Jesus, and I carry His name. WHOA, WHOA, I speak the name of Jesus and the Liar retreats! Cause I am adopted, I am His beloved, it’s my inheritance, I’m a child of God. So whenever a person used by the liar starts mouthing off, I pray in confidence against the enemy, and all is well in my soul! Brandon Lake “I am adopted” personalized to renounce all attacks targeted to destroy my faith. “He who us in me is greater than he who is in the world.”

I’ve poured myself out to God and people. God has given me strength in my weakness while a few have held me in contempt. I’ve defended the names of people who grumbled in silence about my gifting. I’ve felt the sting of rejection, abandonment, and the weight of betrayal. My heart breaks for what dishonors God and I realize some of my wounds come from hands I once held. Through every fracture of my heart, the Lord has stood beside me. He has taken every loss, every disappointment, every sleepless night, and used it to pull me closer to His heart. Politics fails to surprise me and all noisy narratives are but a brief echo, then they vanish. The people we love more than God can change with the wind. But our Lord Jesus does not shift or change. He is our anchor, our refuge, our steady place in a world built on sand. The rest of all of our days are appointed. Make your mission belong to God fully, finally, and without apology. Remember, that everywhere you are He is and He has equipped you with a special gifting for His glory.

The impact of our own voice repeating truth over lies works. Affirm God’s Word outloud to combat negative thoughts. A personal struggle against self-doubt and anxiety, took me to God’s Word. Our minds often echo harsh criticisms. Romans 10:17 commands “Faith comes by hearing,” The frequency of hearing God’s promises in our own voice wipes out lies and renews beliefs and makes new mental pathways. Modern neuroscience supports this notion through the concept of neuroplasticity, where repeated thoughts can strengthen neural connections. James faced anxiety and found relief by speaking scripture aloud. 2 Timothy 1:7. Three practical steps:
1. Pick a Verse: Identify a lie you believe and counter it with scripture. Philippians 4:13
2. Repeat Daily: Consistently speak the verse aloud, reinforce truth, repetition strengthens belief.
3. Anchor to Action: Connect the verse to daily habits, such as placing it on a mirror or saying it while brushing teeth to integrate it into your routine.
Let God’s word be the dominant voice in your life, rather than what parents, bullies, or doctors said. Be consistent and apply these steps, and foster faith and diminish anxiety. There is great power in the tongue speaking Scripture. Think about whatever is lovely, noble, praise worthy. ❤️ Philippians 4:4-7 “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do NOT be ANXIOUS about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and repetition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Inner Voice

Stillness is a gift that allows your soul to catch up with your surroundings. When you pause and breathe deeply, you rediscover peace in the present moment. Let the beauty around you remind you that simply being is enough.
