Do you have one hour to pray? A failed business man left a legacy of prayer. Kneel before God Almighty and ask “Lord make Yourself known to all who pray.” A nation was transformed in 1858 through simple prayers by ordinary people.
Luke 10:21 “Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children.” As we value His living and active Word, we seek the Giver, not the gifts. All the spiritual gifts were received all at once. Holy Spirit, we ask that You give us daily opportunities to stop and pray. We trust You will work through our willingness to hear from You and act on that Word. “He breathed on them and said “Receive the Holy Spirit.” John 21:22

The atonement by the blood sacrifice of Jesus is a central concept in Christian theology, representing the reconciliation between God and humanity. Key aspects:
1. Sin and Separation: According to the Word of God sin creates a separation between humans and God. The atonement heals the divide.
2. Sacrificial System: In the OT, sacrifices were made to atone for sins, symbolizing the cost of sin. Jesus gave the spotless, perfect sacrifice to fulfill and surpass the old system.
3. Substitutionary Atonement: The blood shed on Calvary covers the sins of anyone who confesses Jesus is Lord. The punishment due to sinners was placed on Jesus on the cross. Sinners receive redemption and forgiveness by His blood.
4. Covenant and New Life: The sacrifice of Jesus establishes a new covenant between God and humanity. It provides believers with the promise of eternal life and full restoration.
5. Grace and Faith: The atonement emphasizes that salvation is a gift of grace, received through faith in Jesus, rather than through human effort or merit.

The doctrine of atonement has profound implications for Christians who embrace the fullness of what Jesus accomplished. God’s love includes His provision of the freedom experienced by the forgiveness of sin through the perfect sacrifice required for a Holy God. A Divine Silence

Regarding the atonement and sickness. Healing is not optional but a part of the atonement received or rejected. We abide in Christ and it is the Father’s will that we receive His fullness. His fullness is the Holy Spirit. Healing was part of the purchase price Jesus paid by His perfect blood sacrifice. Believers have been given the authority and power to overcome sickness. Pastor Andrew Wommack does not allow sickness to stay. He overcomes any ache by turning off the right for it to stay. Wommack’s strong belief and attitude is that sickness can be “turned off” by commanding the body to become unreceptive to disease. Instead of begging God for healing, accept the wholeness already provided. Peter and John healed the lame by the authority Jesus gave His disciples. We too are fully equipped by God to exercise our authority for healing. The woman with the issue of blood demonstrates several spiritual laws for healing: ● Hearing the Word of God builds faith.● She was determined to aggressively touch or connect with the divine. Fearlessly the woman pressed through the crowd despite social and religious barriers.● Faith is voice activated, and believers must speak their healing into existence. God has already done His part in providing healing, and it is up to individuals to BELIEVE and RECEIVE what has been given. Get righteously angry at the enemy and command the spirit of infirmity to depart! Start by believing for small ailments like headaches. Use faith and speak healing. My blood pressure is 120/80 and my arteries are cleansed by the blood of Jesus. Andrew Wommack’s sermon, “Turning Off Sickness,” recorded live Aug 14, 2023. 65 videos document science confirmed miraculous healing including people raised from the dead. Do not be deceived as Satan can also use people to perform miracles.
