Why Did God Choose You in Your Family? God’s Calling is understood by some parents and siblings. Being divinely chosen and set apart within one’s family for a specific spiritual purpose is a calling that is not about superiority but responsibility. A unique heavenly perspective is sustained by His grace. Our willingness to address difficult truths grows as He gives us eyes to see life differently and ears to hear the still small voice. “Walk this way.” This individual takes serious notice of what others overlook. They perceive reality through a spiritual lens, even when it’s inconvenient or isolating. They respond to conviction rather than conforming to worldly patterns. Romans 12:2. “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will.” They carry what others avoid by facing unspoken pain, unresolved conflicts, or spiritual emptiness within the family. The unction to speak is a form of intercession. They feel the family’s brokenness most deeply and remain surrendered to God, even when it’s burdensome.

Has God entrusted you with the family’s breaking point? Are you aware of your purposeful position at moments of family crisis? When faith in God is fractured, are you prepared to bring clarity of God’s redemptive plan?  Has not your character been refined to confront truth and seek reconciliation? Genesis 50:20. “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.” Many are positioned in a family to break generational patterns. God raises one person up to choose differently from the inherited habits and sins of past generations.  Not through caustic accusations, but through forgiveness, patience, kindness, and repentant obedience. To confront the past with humility, we submit to God’s truth to initiate new, God honoring ways for future generations. Exodus 20:6  “Showing love to a thousand generations of those who love Me and keep My commandments.” Our obedience blesses souls we may never meet while on earth.  Glory to God!

God refines His chosen through difficult seasons. He privately shapes the family individual who was perhaps overlooked, forgotten, or misunderstood. These personal hard times build dependence on God, spiritual depth, and humility, preparing them for future responsibilities. The chosen respond to the Holy Spirit’s conviction, which is never about comparison. The anointed one stops measuring life by comparison and instead responds to God’s inner promptings. The priority becomes to trust and obey even when the outcome is unknown.  Greater faith allows God to authentically impact their behavior and thinking within the family setting. Galatians 6 “Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else, for each one should carry their own load. Let us NOT become WEARY in DOING GOOD, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” God needs a faithful witness, NOT a perfect one. God’s choice is based on our faithfulness, not our flawlessness. The chosen individual’s awareness of their weaknesses humbles  them to rely on God’s grace. Their imperfections draws others to believe their testimony.

Working out our salvation with trembling.

2 Corinthians 4:7-12 “But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but NOT abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.” Since we have that same spirit of FAITH, we also BELIEVE and therefore SPEAK” God is ever faithful to sustain those He chooses. He provides wisdom, patience, and strength for their calling, even if the fruit of their faithfulness is not immediately visible. Philippians 1:6 “being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” We listen, we obey, and we respond with grace. Luke 7:47 “Therefore I tell you, her many sins have been FORGIVEN —as her GREAT LOVE has shown. But whoever has been forgiven little loves little.” Jesus is speaking about a woman who has shown His love and her gratitude for the forgiveness she had already received. The depth of God’s forgiveness wells up and she responds with greater love and forgiveness to all who hurt or offend her. God’s grace is always at work. AMEN

Because His plan for you is to transform you into His useful vessel.

I was the lost sheep that the Shepherd found. He called me by name, and mercifully rescued me from the pit! With my head resting on my Father’s chest, I asked Him to forgive me for running away, and for all the things I had got myself mixed up in. My good Father quickly said, “You are forgiven and all is forgotten! Now let us focus on the great plans I have for you!” Oh Lord, thank You for making me a brand new creation! I will follow You all the days of my life! Your Word is a lamp that guides my choices and steps.  Speak, for my heart is listening and I am willing to speak the word You give me, and go to wherever You direct me! AMEN

To obtain and maintain the role of a peacemaker depends on our decision to run to God, or to our old habits.  Our Father gave us the freedom to choose Him. We DECIDED once and for all to trust God in all things.  His way brings us into peace.  Our old way was to hold onto our past and have a pity party.  Clinging to God, or onto bitterness seems to be a simple choice. Forgiving is easy as we realize we have been forgiven much.  It is our choice to resist CHAOS and live according to our Prince of Peace. We deny our fluctuating  emotions, and chose to live in the flow of the abiding Spirit. In the midst of  global floods, fires, blinding snow, volcanoes erupting and earthquake devastation, our daily  choices are now on the world stage. With the freedom to choose, we select peace, mercy and hope — NOT stress, anger, and blame. We offer comfort and compassion and do not point out flaws. Humanity has no excuse and no where to hide from the wrath prophesied. We see mankind’s overwhelm, sadness, and fear based anger. This actually prepares hearts to hear the truth. God gave us a time such as this to be His Light. Glory Hallelujah!

A servant of God remains in step with the Spirit.  We stop the devil’s schemes with a single word.  He who dwells within us sniffs out danger and He pricks us with keen discernment. Any attempt to distract us, or cause confusion is halted with a single word! JESUS!  “And forgive us our sins, as we forgive others, and lead us not into a temptation to be offended, but DELIVER us from evil.” Jesus taught the first prayer of deliverance! We are in good company when we suffer the pain of rejection. Truth is, even when we obey God, we can feel dumb, or nothing at all. Life can feel flat even when we read Scripture. We may feel zero peace, zero fire, and not a whisper of reassurance. The hard truth is that God never promised emotional feedback. Jesus promised His faithfulness. Christ did not save us by giving us a feeling. Jesus saved us by giving us Himself. Our obedience does not give us instant gratification. Our obedience gives Him glory. Hallelujah!

Wisely we surrender our emotions to the Spirit, so He can renew our mind.  Then we suddenly increase in His strength and power to persevere. Isaiah 26:3-4 “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord Himself, is the Rock eternal.” The servants who regularly rely on the Spirit, keep their hearts pure through repentance.  We must gladly choose to foil the devil’s plan! Stand firm in faith by forgiving others quickly. Matthew 6:14-15 “For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will NOT forgive your sins.” Gladly we forgive and obtain the peace that surpasses human understanding.

When people compete with you, or visa versa, it is wise to remember that a sense of competition is caused by an unstable identity in Christ.  Insecure people become jealous and gossip to tear down others. Evil thoughts enter as accusing spirits enlist the weak to speak lies and falsely accuse others. Remember, the devil’s aim is to kill our joy and destroy our reliance on the truth. With ears to hear, we ask Holy Spirit for wisdom and discernment.  Keep your heart pure and stay focused on how God is calling you to respond.  “Bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. “If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.” Luke chapter 6.

Maintain faith in His plan to prosper souls with giant portions of mercy. Offense is a tool of the enemy. It is rooted in pride and selfishness.  The scheme of the devil is to get followers of Christ to become offended. Choose NOT to be offended when someone disagrees with your belief, style, or gifting. When a servant of God remains pure in heart, the devil can NOT stop the plans of God for their life. Trust and Obey the Word of God and He is faithful to direct our steps as our Wonderful Counselor gives us the right words to speak. AMEN

The devil seeks to mess with the pure in heart. The devil was frustrated that he could not stop God’s plan for the disciples of Christ. He seeks to kill and destroy, look around.  Hearts are filled with offense, bitterness, and anger. As servants of God we keep our hearts pure through repentance. The devil is defeated by our choice to forgive quickly. A new command, not a suggestion.  “Love one another. As I have loved you, so you MUST love one another. By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, IF you love one another.” John 13:34 We love from His overflow.  “He said to me: ‘It is done. I am the ALPHA and the OMEGA, the BEGINNING and the END. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life.” Revelation 21:5  — The Shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.

John 4:13-14 Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” Splash this good news around. Overflow with His abundance! Abounding in grace, we serve fresh, living water gladly. Meet the thirsty with a cup that will never run dry. His endless supply of love is unlike anything this world has to offer. We offer delicious food to the hungry. Our Father gave us all a buffet of gifts to share. It is fun to bubble up and offer FREE food to the NEEDY.  How wonderful is our Father to gift us all so uniquely! Our Father has called, forgiven, equipped, and purified ordinary people like you and me. His message is often rejected. As His light, we reflect His love and offer compassion. Shine the Light and pierce hopelessness.

Our heart is infused by the Spirit of God. He brings us light, love, joy, compassion, wisdom, discernment, grace, and mercy. If we are not fully possessed by God, we may have invited some dark spirits in. They enter when we entertain doubt, fear, hate, anger, self-pity, envy, pride or gossip.  When we enter the Holy Presence of God in prayer, we are transported into a spiritual dimension. Supernatural resources are available to us in the throne room. His mighty power is above all power and darkness. The demonic enemy of our soul is there to accuse us night and day. Our Advocate objects and the the blood of Jesus, the accuser loses as the Judge of all announces His irreversible verdict.

Picture the Father as the Sun. The bright Light is Jesus.  The Warmth is the Holy Spirit. We sense His warmth with a smile. The Light pierces our doubts and we look up and praise the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. His Warmth melts down any resistance to trust and obey. As He reveals any impure motive or any  hidden resentment, humbly we quickly confess and are purified and kept sharpened for His glory. Obedience has a cost. Set aside the desire to retaliate and walk in His power! LOVE is to be still and KNOW God. It is His love that motivates our doing, our kindness. As the Lord’s ambassador we function as God’s changed instrument. In the name of Jesus love even if why is kinda blurry. When clarity is needed, the Bible is clear about what love is. It is generous in patience. It is not envious or selfish. If we opt for silence to avoid issues, are we really hearing from the Holy Spirit? God is not silent, His love is loud and clear. When we don’t want to deal with His nudge, out of His great love, our Father disciplines us. Personal sacrifice is needed to love like Jesus.  Any judgment, or critical condemnation does not come from a loving servant. Those attitudes put us in the way of what the Lord is doing. We are to grant everyone the same love and patience that we received from the Lord.

Refuse to condemn, but do not condone. Offer people a humble, patient, gentle, forbearing, and forgiving kind of love.  We must be clear as we communicate that it is NOT okay for them to take advantage for a selfish gain. When we choose to live and love as God does, our perspective shifts to His. Since God’s purpose is that we would become “partakers of the divine nature, change is always on His agenda.

If the sin of pride remains, God calls us to repent. We are called to love, but not without boundaries. Jesus allowed daily access to only 12.  We can love from a distance and pray for those who resist truth.  We do not stand in the way of the Lord’s work in another person’s soul. We trust His way of transforming hard hearts. We accept that nobody on earth is perfect. We all have lessons to learn.

𝗔 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 a day of trouble: God, may I be a humble and willing ambassador of love. Help me to fly as a new creation. Change my focus towards what You are now doing.   In the name of Jesus,  let it be done according to God’s will.

  1. Rebukes that the Body of Christ omits in most sermons. The true Church — Most Fail and in Revelation only 3 churches receive God’s approval. Appearances can be deceiving. Many modern churches, despite their popularity, fail to foster genuine spiritual growth and transformation. What God approved: A Church of Truth and Obedience This church not only hears God’s word but actively lives it. The body issues grace and loves much and forgives quickly. It prioritizes daily alignment with scriptures over attendance or the volume of musical praise. The criticism of the Lord against modern churches for often preaching a modified Gospel message to not offend. Do not avoid challenging believers to real change and repentance. A Church of Service that extends beyond its walls, actively serves those in need of widows, orphans, the broken. Our faith without works is dead and God critiques churches that outsource compassion or maintain a safe distance from problems. True service involves personal and sacrificial helps. They show compassion as they see the face of Jesus in those who suffer. A Church of Intercession understands that the spiritual battle is not against people but against spiritual forces. It prioritizes prayer as a powerful and effective weapon, contrasting this with modern Christianity’s neglect of prayer meetings in favor of marketing strategies or grand events. Genuine spiritual growth and power come from consistent, fervent, and communal prayer. Examination of our motives is to reflect on what God calls His church to do.

  2. We are covered by the majestic mercy, lavish love and grandiose grace of God. Still, even David admitted that at times he felt weary as he agonized over God’s silence. “Why, O Lord, do You reject me and hide your face from me.” Mother Teresa, a woman thought to possess great faith. A servant of God who got a Nobel Peace Prize from man while her faith shook. Teresa’s  own dark doubts were published in a book. “Such deep longing for God had I, repulsed – I am empty without faith – no love – no zeal. Pray for me as I no longer pray.” Do not be deceived! Whenever a person has their own hopes and aspirations shattered; perhaps a diagnosis, our plans get interrupted, a wild storm, a war, a plague, or a number of delays — even those who have had a solid faith in God’s word can still feel angry, impatient, and filled with doubt.  I’m surprised to find how my emotions can mingle so freely with my faith. We who believe in the blood of Jesus have been saved, through FAITH, a supernatural gift of God. Strong FAITH is in the Eagle phase of our walk. It is our ASSURANCE of what HE is doing. God is ever working to refine, realign, and transform us.  He fought and won our battles.
