Question God

God exists outside of time

Ask God to make good use of the days you have left. “Lord Jesus, with whatever time I have left, I give it to You. With this willing attitude, Holy Spirit is invited to guide us into God’s will. The Bible tells us that Moses was 80 years old when God called him to a tremendous assignment. Employers might have looked at Moses and said, your useful years are behind you. But our Father looked at Moses and said, I will use your years of struggle to glorify God. An older saint may look at their life and see limitations. God only sees possibilities. We tend to think we are too old. God sees our experiences. We focus on our feeble knees, our weaknesses. God magnifies the lessons we have learned. We remember our youth and the years that have passed. God knows our years of perseverance. We are wise to agree with God and not waste those years by becoming spiritually lazy. He woke us up this day because He is not finished with us yet. We open God’s Word and shake in His holy presence. We humbly ask Him to search our heart. We ask God to forgive us where we have failed. We ask Holy Spirit to give us strength where we are weak, so that we can be used to bring increased glory to God.

Time with our Father is precious

We lay down all doubt at the foot of the cross. We ask our Father to give us wisdom for the days ahead. We pray and expect that God will give us greater faithfulness in the days that loom with gloom. Our hope is not to simply live longer, but our heart’s desire aligns with God when we want to live closer to Him. We don’t yearn to know how many days remain, we only desire to listen to what the Spirit is saying.  If we’ve followed Jesus for 50 years, then trust Him for the next day. If we have been available to God for 70 years, obey Him again tomorrow morning. Don’t let familiarity replace devotion. Don’t let routine replace prayer. Don’t let age replace faith. Don’t let comfort replace obedience.

Every morning that God allows us to open our eyes is another invitation to seek Him. Another opportunity to love somebody. Another chance to forgive. Another open heart to encourage. Another welcome to serve. A new encounter with God to fully submit: “Lord, here I am use me. ” There is no retirement age in the kingdom of God, or a time in which prayer becomes unnecessary. The Word of God is always relevant. There is no age in which God’s purpose for our life automatically expires. Our assignment may change, but our calling to remain faithful does not. Do not allow the passing of time to make your heart grow cold, instead  earnestly seek to know Him even more deeply. Our dependency upon God never evaporates. Let every gray hair remind us of His faithfulness. Let every scar remind us that He carried us through with purpose. Let every difficult season remind us that He never abandons us. Look forward with great anticipation for the future He promised is glorious!  Lord, I don’t know how much time remains, but whatever time You give us, we desire to give our time back to You.  AMEN

God’s comforting answers to our questions, reveal His unwavering presence and purpose through all of life’s trials. “Oh God, why must I go through these flood waters and lose everything?” Our Father may reply, “So that your enemy would lose his grip on you. Take heart, for My plans for your future are great.” Our God reminds us that even though the water can destroy things, the flood waters will not drown us. The fires of life may scorch our plans, but the fires will not consume our souls. Some things that were meant to destroy us will become the very things God uses to strengthen our faith in Him alone. Keep trusting El Roi, the God who sees us.

Questioning God in the midst of chaos. “Lord God, why do I feel like I’m always failing and struggling?” He may answer, failing does not mean our story is finished. Like Paul, we get back up after our ship wrecks and we rejoice always.  Why? Because our desire is to know God more deeply through every struggle. Any success could never teach us more about His grace like  humiliation does. Every closed door can teach us to seek God’s will.  Every mistake humbles us. Every hard season strengthens our resolve to be still, and wait on the Lord. God is working in our hearts, in our minds, in our perceptions, in all things, always. Praise God for His ways are higher than ours, and always best!

Our Father is delighted when we turn to Him and read His Word to find His way.  Oh God, why do I feel such pain and helplessness? His answer. “Because in your weakest moments, I am the God who remains strong and faithful. Look for how God is working in your pain. Is your compassion for others deeper?  How has pain strengthened your faith? List all the ways pain has shaped your character, and give thanks to God. As we hit bottom and the end of our own strength, we seek and rely on God and find that He alone — is ever reliably and sufficiently strong in every difficult situation we face.

“Abba Father, why must I  experience disappointment and setbacks?” God assured David and us that we can only see what is happening around us, but He knows the entire road ahead. We think a delay in traffic is working against us, but God, is protecting us from a disaster. There are many bumps on the road that we do not understand, but God goes before us and He says “Take this detour with Me, trust My Ways.”   Psalm 15 “Lord, who may dwell in Your sacred tent? Who may live on Your holy mountain? The one whose walk is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from their heart; whose tongue utters no slander, who does no wrong to a neighbor, and casts no slur on others; who despises a vile person but honors those who fear the Lord; who keeps an oath even when it hurts, and does not change their mind; who lends money to the poor without interest; who does not accept a bribe against the innocent. Whoever does these things will never be shaken.” Ask, Seek, and Find answers in His Word.

Father, why do I feel alone while waiting for prayers to be answered? God assures us in the Psalms that He was there with David when nobody knew he was hurting. God keeps every tear in a bottle. He hears our silent desperation.  He knows our hearts even when we cannot articulate our needs. In Scripture, He answers the questions we were afraid to ask. He has never abandoned His kids. Even when we do not feel His presence, He was holding us.  The question that stirs in many hearts.  “Oh God, my Father, after everything I have been through, can I really trust all Your promises?”  God answers with a personal homework assignment. Reflect back through the years. Write down every hard season that certainly should have broken anyone. Miraculously we are still here asking God if He is trustworthy. Every time we thought we were not prepared enough, GOD gave us words and He carried us all the way through.  Every time we thought we were alone, God was there.  He abides in us as the Holy Spirit. The same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead, is the same Spirit who rescues us from the most difficult calamities.

Proverbs 1:1-7 “The proverbs of Solomon son of David, king of Israel: for GAINING WISDOM and INSTRUCTION; for UNDERSTANDING words of INSIGHT; for receiving instruction in prudent BEHAVIOR, doing what is RIGHT and just and fair; for GIVING prudence to those who are SIMPLE, knowledge and DISCRETION to the young— let the WISE LISTEN and ADD to their LEARNING, and let the discerning GET guidance—for UNDERSTANDING proverbs and PARABLES, the sayings and RIDDLES of the WISE. The FEAR of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” Ask God for wisdom and He gives it without reservation. Proverbs 21 ‘When a mocker is punished, the simple gain wisdom; by paying attention to the wise they get knowledge. When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers. Whoever strays from the path of prudence comes to rest in the company of the dead.”

Lord God, I need Holy Spirit to give understanding on how am I supposed to “Keep Oil in my Lamp?” Does this Virgin parable apply to those who go through the tribulation?  Does it apply to the Church Age or our Salvation? In sequence, the rapture comes before the great wrath of God. To keep oil in our lamps, we get our answer in scripture. Doctrinally, the Jew that is alive in the tribulation, they must endure to the end to be saved. Matthew 24:13-14. The five wise virgins of the remnant of Israel and the five foolish virgins are the Jews that accepted the mark of the beast. They go out to buy oil for their lamps, but nobody can buy anything. The sheep nations and goat nations, the wheat and tares, good and bad fish are the gentiles that were left behind.  Doctrinal truth does not change by man’s opinion. According to God’s  Word, His church is gone at the rapture.  1 Thess 4; and 1 Corin 15; and 2 Thess 2. To understand the lamp and oil devotionally, we don’t keep the oil in our lamps during the church age. We keep our faith in His finished work, through our personal relationship, and by reading God’s active Word.

Believers did not work for salvation.  By His grace alone, we were sealed, and filled by the Holy Spirit of God unto the day of redemption. Titus 3:5-8 “God  saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by His grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to STRESS these things, so that those who have TRUSTED in GOD may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.” According to His mercy; we are saved, and God washed us, regenerated us; and renewed us by the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 2:8-9 By grace we are saved through FAITH and that NOT of ourselves.  By faith we received the fullness of the Holy Spirit.  We cannot go get more of Him. We do not earn His presence. We cannot buy more holiness, or oil for our souls, our lamps.  “Lest any man should boast.”  Praise God for if we were able to simply buy oil, only the rich go to heaven. If we could work for more of the Holy Spirit, everybody would boast about how much they deserve heaven. In heaven  our good works will be judged as our evil works were forgiven by His blood. Revelation 12:10-11.

Jesus reveals to John. Revelation 12:10-11 “Then I heard a loud VOICE in HEAVEN say: “Now have come the SALVATION and the POWER and the kingdom of our God, and the AUTHORITY of HIS MESSIAH. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been HURLED DOWN. They TRIUMPHED over him (satan) by the BLOOD of the Lamb and by the WORD of THEIR TESTIMONY; (Jesus is Lord) they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.” We did not deny Jesus when persecuted. Romans 8:1 By His gift of eternal life, we are no longer subject to God’s condemnation or wrath. We are saved. What is our motive? But to reign with Christ in His future government.  The Virgin parable has nothing to do with our salvation. Be very clear to rightly divide the word properly so as to not cause anxiety, fear, or confusion. Jesus, the Passover Lamb has given us the gift of the Holy Spirit when we by FAITH accepted Jesus as our personal Savior. God came to earth, shed His blood and rose from the dead for us. “It is finished.”  We deserve hell and we can’t have a personal relationship with God without Jesus Christ. Jesus said,  “I’m the Way, the Truth, The Life,  and no man cometh in his Father but by Me.” We can’t keep our oil lamps full, Jesus does.

Matthew 24:10-50 “At that time (before or after the Rapture?) MANY will TURN AWAY from the FAITH and will BETRAY and HATE each other, and MANY false prophets will appear and DECEIVE many people. Because of the INCREASE of WICKEDNESS, the love of MOST will grow cold, but the one who stands FIRM to the END will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom WILL BE PREACHED (two witnesses) in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. “So when you see STANDING in the HOLY PLACE ‘the ABOMINATION (antichrist) that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand— then let those who are in JUDEA FLEE to the mountains. Let no one on the housetop go down to take anything out of the house. Even so, when you see ALL these THINGS, you know that it is NEAR, right at the door. Truly I tell you, this GENERATION will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. Heaven and earth will pass away, but MY WORDS will never pass away. “But about THAT DAY or HOUR no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but ONLY the FATHER. So you also must be READY, because the SON of MAN will COME at an hour when you do not expect HIM. But SUPPOSE that SERVANT is WICKED and says to himself, ‘My MASTER is staying away a long time,’ and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards. The MASTER of THAT SERVANT will come on a day when he does not expect HIM and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the HYPOCRITES, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” The second coming of Jesus is different from His appearing in the clouds. Get wisdom, ask God.

Bible teacher Nelson Walters, argues that Daniel 9 contains a hidden, mathematically precise timeline that points to the year 2030 as the time of Jesus’s return. We do not know the day or the hour, but the year, is in order. This Bible teacher concludes that this information should lead believers to prepare and intercede in prayer for the repentance of Israel and the church in anticipation of these events. The 70 Weeks Prophecy: The teacher explains that “weeks” refers to shabuim (7-year cycles), meaning 70 weeks total 490 years. He argues that this timeline is not continuous but contains a significant “gap” between the 69th and 70th weeks. The Gap Duration: Walters calculates the length of the desolations mentioned in Daniel  by referencing Leviticus 26. He argues that the four-fold judgment mentioned (7 times 70 times 4) equals 1,960 years of desolation. The starting point for the desolation period is identified as the destruction of the city and sanctuary in 70 AD. Add 1,960 years to 70 AD points to 2030. The crucifixion of Jesus is placed in 30 AD, creating a total gap of 2,000 years (40 years of warning plus 1,960 years of desolation) . The Two Witnesses Principle: The video asserts that this 2030 timeline is confirmed by two independent prophetic witnesses: Daniel and the prophet Hosea.
