“After that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation.” — The eternal gift of God includes the filling of the Holy Spirit. The Jewish worshipers of Jehovah God, look  in HOPE for a coming Messiah. They anticipate to gladly embrace His future coming.  When Jesus walked among humanity in Israel, the GENTILES, who had NO  HOPE, only lack, their heart in the midst of an empty vessel yearned for help.  They wanted and WAITED “for the WORD of the TRUTH ” In desperation all souls desire the real TRUTH, NOT a VEILED type of truth. Back in the days when Jesus physically walked in Israel, many gentiles RECEIVED the Word of God.

To be redeemed from the oppression of guilt, and the shame of sin was good news! Sinners embraced the truth, the Savior of the world with an open heart. Their GLAD reception recorded.  “After that ye BELIEVED, ye were SEALED with that HOLY SPIRIT of PROMISE.” —Note the order: They first BELIEVED, then they were SEALED. Compare the 2026 reception of the Holy Spirit with the experience of the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2:38. ● The LIGHT of the gospel SHINES before men; ● NEXT, by FAITH they open their eyes to see it; ● Then they are SEALED by a special GIFT of the HOLY SPIRIT. Such a great FAITH is still the gift of God by His Spirit. Our Lord teaches us in John 16:8-13 to distinguish between the PLEADING of the HOLY SPIRIT with the world that He does His convicting work, “to CONVINCE of SIN, because they BELIEVE NOT in Christ.” The SPECIAL GIFT of HIS PRESENCE in the BODY OF CHRIST today moves to yet convince souks that “I am a sinner, and I need a Savior.” We are God’s possession, andvour Father INHABITS us, by the HOLY SPIRIT who in fact INDWELLS US. The believers soul welcomes Him and submits to Him so that He can, “GUIDE unto ALL the TRUTH.” The fullness of the Holy Spirit Presence is the purchased SEAL of God in the NEW COVENANT.
