Keto Almond Scone

20180221_115914Enjoy an almond scone with your tea or coffee. This versatile and easy recipe is simply a tweak of the basic mug muffin recipe with a wee bit of crunch!  A high tea afternoon lunch! All you need is 2 minutes to bake up a fresh almond scone for your tea!  OK, it does not look like a scone, but your taste buds will delight in the crunch of almond!

SIMPLE INGREDIENTS

One pat of real butter + 1/4 tsp baking powder + 2 tsp coconut flour + 1 tsp almond flour + one egg + 1 tbl vanilla flavor + 2 tsp almond flakes + 1/2 tsp Stevia (sweetener of choice)

EVERY NON-COOK can do this!

  1. melt butter in a mug in the microwave for 30 seconds.
  2. Add rest of the ingredients to mug and stir
  3. Place mug back in microwave and nuke it for 90 seconds
  4. Slice in half, put butter on top

  1. Home Made Jam for Bagels

    FIRST: Warm 1 large tablespoon of Philadelphia cream cheese in microwave for 5 seconds.
    SECOND: Cut up a large strawberry into itty pieces and smash into warmed cream cheese.
    THIRD: Smear on top of a toasted KETO Bagel or KETO cup bread
