It is wise to write down your dreams because God still speaks to His people through dreams and visions. These are the recorded dreams, visitations and visions my Lord gave me just prior to my latest writing assignment. “A Reader’s Delight”. “My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.” 1 Corinthians 2:4-5 More than anything else I want to see a demonstration of the Spirit of God falling down like rain on the people of Mexico! May His Glory come down!  We need His power to build His kingdom while on earth. It is not my intention to impress anyone. “When I came to you, I did not come with eloquence or human wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God. For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.” Like Paul, I know nothing.  Barbara is also crucified and only Jesus is to be glorified in all I speak, write or do. AMEN

❤❤❤DREAM  February 22, 2019: The Word became Flesh, in a vivid dream: A brilliantly ornate golden, uniquely jeweled container that was shaped like a canoe was suddenly in my room. A voice said “open it”. With great anticipation I walked over to the glorious container and began pulling away what appeared to be straw, stubble or hay, like excelsior. The treasure that was uncovered spoke to my heart. Glistening figurines of the finest, delicate porcelain were all there kneeling beside the luxuriously gilded container. Then in a flash, all of the nativity characters were standing beside the container, alive and joyfully smiling at me. It was Jesus and His beloved apostles all standing in my room, beaming and beckoning me to take their picture. I fumbled with a substantially complex yet beautiful object in my hands. It was somehow revealed to me that it was a camera. I said “I do not know how to make it work”. Then I woke up from my sleep, still feeling like I had the camera in my hand. REVELATION:  Take a snapshot of the Bible, make it simple for the common man to draw near to Jesus! The complex box  or camera in my hand, which I was to use, to take a snapshot, is my computer. Listen to what the Spirit is saying, and obey!  The day before I had been listening to books about Jesus and I fell asleep to a scripture based movie on the “Book of John”. The Word of God appeared in my room and asked me to take a picture (freeze frame My Joy and Love over you)…these scriptures affirm my dream of The Word became Flesh.” —- Luke 12:34 “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” 2 Corin 4:7 “But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.” 1 Tim 6:9 “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. John 1:14    “ I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean.” Ezekiel 36:25

❤❤❤ March 22, 2019 : WORSHIP THE LORD IN WRITTEN WORDS
I praise You God, for it is Your love that liberates me, it is Your power that gives me strength and makes me whole. Abba Father, pour Your love into me so that it overflows to others and glorifies You in the process. I sit still and know that You are the One and only God worthy of all praise. Thank You for the gift of faith, and for keeping Your promise by filling me with the Holy Spirit. Thank You for Your greatest act of love—sending Your Son to die for me. I praise You, Jesus, my Lord and Redeemer, that You have saved me and given me a foundation that is unshakable. “You enlarged my path under me, so my feet did not slip” (2 Samuel 22:37). ❤❤❤ It is my greatest privilege to exalt You above all and proclaim that You are King of kings and Lord of lords. No one is greater than You. I praise You for Your Holy Spirit, Who gives me understanding, Who teaches me the things of the deep, Who leads, Who comforts me, and Who never departs from me. I praise You for Your wisdom and revelation. I praise You for Your peace and joy. Thank You that You are in charge of my life and nothing is too hard for You. Thank You for enabling me to do what I could never do without You. Lord, help me to worship You in ways that are pleasing in Your sight. You are holy and worthy of all praise, and I exalt You above all else. In Jesus’ name I pray.

❤❤❤ March 26, 2019  Our souls were pierced as we broke through barriers and built up  HOPE as we stomped and pushed through just like the Shunammite did! (2 Kings 4) ❤❤❤ DREAM Mach 27, 2019: I was in a car traveling fast towards a fire. I was leading a train of cars behind me, they were all following me towards the fire. Then suddenly the tires were melting into the asphalt and we were all consumed by the fire. The car represents my ministry. The long line of traffic following me into the all consuming fire of the Holy Spirit, are the people who are moved to accept Jesus by reading my book.

❤❤❤ March 31, 2019: WALKING IN THE FAVOR OF GOD: To examine your heart for anything that is buried works miracles. In my personal heart exam I remembered a debt from 30 years ago to my sister. I wrote a check with a request for her forgiveness for such a late payment. I JUST GOTTA RECORD THIS as a BLESSING from GOD! I got this TEXT today. “Barbie, I was so shocked to see your note and check which arrived today. I really had forgiven your lapse long ago — This shows me that you do practice your faith and godly spirit. You are loved beyond measure.” Lord I pray that You draw my sister close. In Jesus name AMEN.

❤❤❤ DREAM April 4, 2019:   Today my Lord streamed His chosen lessons in Ecclesiastes, Song of Songs, Isaiah, and Jeremiah. IAM RENEWED not drained as I get to use my gift from God to expand His kingdom! On April 3, 2019 Barb received a major blessing and encouragement from God. On my way to a church committee meeting I stopped to test drive a few office chairs as the chair I’m using is not good for my back and it has no wheels. ANYWAY, within minutes I picked the one that fit with a price tag of 5,700 pesos. I never ask for a discount, but today i just said something like “how about giving me a discount for being a woman who made up her mind quickly ” He said it’s a floor model sold for 4,000 pesos. He could not take my debit card, so he saw me dig into my wallet and all I had was 3,250 pesos. He smiled and just said SOLD! They put my new swiveling chair in my car. The entire shopping experience lasted only 5 minutes. I am now sitting in a rolling,  back supportive chair – thank you Jesus!❤❤❤ DREAM April 21, 2019:  After a wonderful worship service on Easter Sunday with a wonderful message about the prodigal son, I relaxed by watching Sid Roth interviewing someone about the importance of dreams. I went to sleep on Easter Eve, and that night my dream had me being led to line up jugs of water in front of the painting of Lake Chapala.  I was trying to take a picture of the painting as I lined up these jugs of water in front of it.  “A Readers Delight” a snapshot of the Holy Bible – being used to pour out jugs of living water into the people of lake Chapala.

❤❤❤ PRAYER APRIL 22, 2019: AMEN Lord Jesus I pray that You will be glorified in the published book “A Readers Delight” I pray it is accurately translated into Spanish, and that You would expedite its distribution to the people of Mexico. I pray it will be used to magnify Who you are in the hearts of all who read it. I pray for the supernatural revival in Mexico as it has been prophesied.  In Jesus name. AMEN ❤❤❤ AMEN

❤❤❤ DREAM April 23, 2019: Woke up thinking Judges, Judges, Judges.  Re-edit Exodus and Leviticus. Include the feasts of the Lord. These feasts are for all generations, it is His plan to unite the old with the new. The feast of Trumpets in October. WOW we will hear the trumpets as we are SNATCHED up to be with Jesus around the throne praising God “Holy, Holy, Holy” is our Lord!

❤❤❤DREAM April 30, 2019 in my dream I was concerned about an email that warned me to stop talking about the Bible. Jesus appeared and said “He will explain”. Jesus is “Behind the Curtain” ALL people have access to God, He is our High Priest.  This morning I re-edited the book of Exodus and Matthew to include: “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I will be with always, to the very end of age.”(28) Jesus promised that He would be with us until the end of the age! Today all believers have access to the Most Holy Place; we can now go to Our Father directly as a result of the obedience of Jesus to lay down His life for us.  Once Jesus said “it is finished”; in front of all the priests, the Temple curtain was torn as a sign of God’s new covenant. “At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split.” Matt 27:51

❤❤❤DREAM MAY 1, 2019 I woke up Happy ☀ In the midst of dream I was walking down a sidewalk, the cement splits and a carpet of bright yellow flowers spring up where the sidewalk was. I was in the middle of a vast field of flowers. Not sure where I was, I hesitated to step on the glorious, beautiful flowers. Suddenly a voice from behind me whispers; ‘go ahead, keep walking this way’. So in faith I stepped onto the carpet of flowers then I woke up. Thank You Lord Jesus for the dreams and visions You are giving me. I will continue to write what You give me to write and I will not stop until it the book You commissioned me to write is translated into Spanish.

❤❤❤VISION MAY 2, 2019 This morning Mike and I walked the malecon and witnessed that the bridge to Jesus is almost finished! We praised God as it is a sign that leads to the passionate people of Mexico becoming on fire for Jesus as His glory comes down! Today, immediately after finishing my final edit in Jude, the door bell rang. It was a surprise visit from our neighbor RosaEna. She brought the new mayor of San Nicolas de Ibarra over to invite us to a Mother’s Day fiesta in the plaza. Filled with the Holy Spirit, it was announced that the Bible had just been condensed from 650,000 words, to 50,0000 words so that the passionate people of Mexico could enjoy a personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. Nacho Ibarra, the new Mayor agreed that the people of Mexico need to listen to the Word of Jesus directly, and not through the priest. Nacho immediately gave me his email as he offered to translate this book. In the magnificent universal language of God,  we all said HALLELUJAH  all GLORY to GOD!    

❤❤❤DREAM MAY 7, 2019  We were leaving an old church building and being led to an enormous white structure with multiple buildings for teaching. “We are leaving an old building and moving into an ancient structure that is brand new.” The interior of the structure had stadium like seats. I looked behind the seats and saw a furnace on fire! May 7, 2019 Email from Australia: “Yield to the places that He is calling you to be “set apart” from and follow His leading even if it doesn’t make sense, as it is preparation in the positioning for His fire to fall. His fire is falling upon living sacrifices. He’s coming with His fire to consume you like never before.” The Lord is calling the Body of Christ to a fresh place of surrender with our very lives being as altars unto Him, because I hear the Lord saying, “My fire is about to fall! My fire is about to fall!” The fire of God is about to fall on the consecrated places.”  “Then Joshua said to the people, ‘Sanctify yourselves [for His purpose], for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders (miracles) among you.'” (Joshua 3:5 AMP)

JULY 17, 2019 –  Romans 12:1-8 NIV  “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will.  For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.  For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.  We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us.” AMEN – Thank You Lord for Thy Word.

WEDNESDAY July 24, 2019: For me to live is Christ and to die is gain.” Phil 1:21 🙌 “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life i live in the body, i live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” Galatians 2:20 🙌 “I know that nothing good lives in Barbara, that is, in my flesh, my selfish sinful nature.” Romans 7:18 🙌 “Those who live in the flesh, according to their sinful nature, cannot please God.” Romans 8:8 🙌 When When we realize that it is impossible to live a life pleasing to God apart from the Holy Spirit, we gladly embrace the death of our sinful nature as it was nailed to the cross of Christ. When we willingly yield our entire being, body, mind, soul to the Holy Spirit we agree that. “He who is in me, is greater than he who is in the world.” Satan attempts to infiltrate our minds with doubt about our salvation and the Truth. Our mind, emotions, and feelings are a part of our soul. Satan continually plots to attack our soul. When we fail to obey the Spirit, our unstable feelings begin to agree with the Liar that our sinful nature, our selfish-out-of-control self is NOT DEAD. We are wise to pay attention of doubt and recognize the devil’s scheme and boldly speak with authority against the Liar! Satan loses in his feeble attempt to cause unbelief in what God’s Word proclaims. The Truth is that Satan is a liar. God has said “Since the children have flesh and blood in common, Jesus also shared in these, so that through His death He might destroy the one holding the power of death – that is the Devil -and free those who were held in slavery all their lives by the fear of death.” Hebrews 2:14 -“For me to live is Christ and to die is gain.” Phil 1:21 🙌 “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life i live in the body, i live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” Galatians 2:20 🙌 The Liar is defeated as his nature is inferior to the Christ-nature alive and active in all who believe in Jesus. We get to claim VICTORY as we are children of God. PRAY: “I believe in the mighty power of God in me and I accept that i live “in Him” as the Holy Spirit abides “in me”. Victory over my flesh, my self willed nature could never have been attained on my own 🙌 it is simply to be received and embraced as the TRUTH. Jesus has already won the battle, He defeated devil for my soul’s sake. Father, I thank You that through the blood shed by Jesus on my behalf, my sinful nature has been put to death and sin’s power and Satan have both been defeated. My long struggle to win the battle on my own was laughably futile ! Repeating the GOOD NEWS: Jesus has already won the VICTORY for me. Oh Lord Jesus, thank You. Holy Spirit increase my faith and deepen my understanding of these truths. I praise You Lord for Your victory.

1 Kings 8:36 “then hear from heaven and forgive the sin of your servants, your people who live at Lake Chapala. Teach them the right way to live, and send rain on the land you gave your people for an inheritance.”

On Wednesday during Thanksgiving week 2019 I was notified by the publisher Xulon that “Biblia Compacta” was being bound in paperback to ship to McAllen, Tx address. It is now professionally edited and published in Spanish on the Barnes and Noble website. The paperback edition in Spanish will be marketed on Christian book seller websites.  Praising God for His plans and purpose to reach the Spanish speaking people He desires.

December 1, 2019 woke up with this dream: I was climbing up, up, up a giant stairway of marble steps inside an enormous castle. Each upper floor landing was filled with glorious choirs singing music that was out of this world. When I reached what I believe was the top level, the Light and Joy was overwhelming. I dashed down the stairs to gather more people to take them to the top…then I woke up.

July 11, 2020 I heard clearly repeatedly “Shechem” Awakening from a dream state.  Using BibleGateway I searched for the word. “Joseph had a dream, and when he told it to his brothers, they hated him all the more.” Genesis 37:5 “[ Joseph Sold by His Brothers ] Now his brothers had gone to graze their father’s flocks near Shechem” Genesis 37:12 “When Joseph arrived at Shechem, ¹⁵ a man found him wandering around in the fields and asked him, “What are you looking for?” Genesis 37:14  “Here comes that dreamer!” they said to each other.  “Come now, let’s kill him and throw him into one of these cisterns and say that a ferocious animal devoured him. Then we’ll see what comes of his dreams.” When Reuben (eldest brother) heard this, he tried to rescue him from their hands. “Let’s not take his life,” he said.  “Don’t shed any blood. Throw him into this cistern here in the wilderness, but don’t lay a hand on him.” Reuben said this to rescue him from them and take him back to his father. So when Joseph came to his brothers, they stripped him of his robe—the ornate robe he was wearing—  and they took him and threw him into the cistern.”  Genesis 37:19-24 “I am your brother Joseph, the one you sold into Egypt–but God sent me ahead of you to preserve for you a remnant on earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance. So then, it was not you who sent me here, but God. He made me father to Pharaoh, lord of his entire household and ruler of Egypt.” Genesis 45:5-8 Joseph’s father Jacob (renamed Israel) goes to Egypt. “So Israel set out with all that was his, and when he reached Beersheba, he offered sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac. And God spoke to Israel in a vision at night and said, “Jacob! Jacob!” Here I am, Jacob replied. “I am God, the God of your father,” He said. “Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you into a great nation there. I will go down to Egypt with you, and I will surely bring you back again. And Joseph’s own hand will close your eyes….Jacob took with him to Egypt his sons and grandsons and his daughters and granddaughters – all his offspring. Genesis 46:1-7 –Jacob assigned the 12 tribes of Israel to his sons with instructions to be buried where Abraham and Sarah, and Isaac and Rebekah were buried in Canaan. Genesis chapter 49. When Joseph’s brothers learned that their father Jacob was dead they feared that Joseph would hold a grudge for how they had treated him. His brothers threw themselves at his feet “we are your slaves” they said. “But Joseph said to them, “Don’t be afraid. Am I in the place of God? You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. So then, don’t be afraid. I will provide for you and your children.” Genesis 50:19  

LIFE LESSONS from Bible People: God’s Presence in relationships overcomes differences (Ruth & Naomi) Great people of God struggle with feelings. (Elijah, 1 Kings 19:3) God chooses the inexperienced, the unlearned, at time the youngest, not the oldest. (Moses, Joseph, David) For courage and faith to be effective they must combine words with actions (Caleb) A person committed to God provides the best model for living (Joshua) Sometimes in life we must take radical action (Ehud, the 2^nd Judge of Israel’s actions resulted in peace for 80 years. Judges 3:20)  God uses us in spite of our limitations and failures. (Gideon) Even those who make great spiritual progress can return to sin (Gideon, Israel’s 5^th Judge gathered gold which became an object of worship. Gideon fathered a son from a concubine. Judges 6:15)  The life of Joseph is compared to the life of Jesus. Both were loved by their Father, both were Shepherds of their Father’s sheep. Both were hated by brothers (John 7:5) Plots to kill were formed against both. Both men were tempted. Both had robes taken from them. Both were falsely accused. Both were 30 years of age when they began their public service. Both were exalted after suffering. Both forgave those who wronged them. Both saved their nation Israel. What mankind did to both was turned to good by God.
