Focus on Listening

Birds are singing, flowers are blooming, the sun is shining and soon God will hang the moon as a night light.  Gratitude embraces us with immeasurable gladness as the sun rises. There is no sphere of chance when it comes to the sun setting or rising! “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.” Psalm 23:6 – Indeed, moment by moment as we acknowledge all creation, the feeling of gratitude signals that we stand in the holy presence of God.  The following music is to play each time your smile droops!  “Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4  We are changed ~ In a Twinkle “Oh Lord, increase my awareness of Jesus, His Presence, His grace, His consistent Joy, His face shining in delight, His singing over me.” Ask yourself, does anyone really know your heart and understand your current struggles? Jesus does, but wisely James told us to confess our sins, struggles to one another so that we may be healed. Is there someone whom you are inspiring and edifying in Christ? If your response is no, you need to ask the Lord to help you find other believers with whom you can grow. We are meant to use our gifts and talents to serve one another, and when we do, we advance the Kingdom of God. Be alert, Be aware of the family of believers out there who need your gift of encouragement, hospitality – and there are others ready to offer a helping hand. The Lord wills it that we get together with like minded people regularly. It is our Father’s Way of reuniting His children in kind of a grand reunion. Reach out, be a blessing to someone who needs what you have, and you need what they offer.
