This delightful garden tale was written by one who believes God makes us all different, for His purpose, plan and delight. May it speak to your soul as it did mine. Stroll slowly through the king’s garden and look up and give thanks. Our Father delights when He sees us using our gifts to the best of our ability. “The Lord delights in those who fear Him, who put their hope in His unfailing love.” Psalm 147:11 The truth is that only God’s Word matters. Use it and enjoy Rebounding

Streams In The Desert ~ January 7: A story is told of a king who went into his garden one morning, and found everything withered and dying. He asked the oak that stood near the gate what the trouble was. He discovered it was sick of life and determined to die because it was not tall and beautiful like the pine. The pine was all out of touch with heart because it could not bear grapes, like the vine. The vine was going to throw its life away because it could not stand erect and have as fine fruit as the peach tree. The geranium was fretting because it was not tall and fragrant like the lilac.

And so on, and on it went all through the king’s walk in his garden. Coming to a heart’s-ease, the king found its bright face lifted as cheery as ever. “Well, heart’s-ease, I’m glad, amidst all this discouragement, to find one brave little flower. You do not seem to be the least disheartened.” The humble flower replied “No, I am not of much account, but I thought that if you wanted an oak, or a pine, or a peach tree, or a lilac, you would have planted one; but as I knew you wanted a heart’s-ease, I am determined to be the best little heart’s-ease that I can be.”

Others may do a greater work,
But you have your part to do;
And no one in all God’s heritage
Can do it so well as you.

They who are God’s without reserve, are in every state content; for they will do what He wills, and desire to do for Him whatever He desires them to do; they strip themselves of everything, and in this nakedness find all things restored a hundredfold.” As a chosen, forgiven, adopted, anointed child of God, the truth of our eternal union is what fuels our faith in this broken world. Jesus is the entire satisfaction of our hope. One’s faith in our heavenly adoption confirms the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Our Teacher gives us the meaning of God’s Word. Believers experience profound peace in the midst of crisis because He indwells and sanctifies us. The Holy Spirit assures our spirit that we are not alone. He gives us confidence, peace and joy during our Christian walk through good and hard times. The mind of Christ is in us, simply walk slowly and tap in.

“His Purpose is Perfect” There is nothing more thrilling than to live ‘in Christ’. Everything that I experience has His purpose in it, just for me. My fate is in His capable hands and it is glorious! The Lover of my soul, the Master of my heart, and the Lord of my life orchestrates every event. He is the cause of every “divine” encounter. He is the unseen guide behind every decision. I trust Him to take situations, either bad or good, and turn them to my advantage. In Christ, I never stop learning, and never fall without experiencing a new depth to His mercy. On His wings, I can fly to unseen heights in the expansion of His grace. His strength is ever so reliable, and His power guarantees my future. His kindness dries my tears and when everyone deserts me, He is my faithful friend. He informs and encourages me. When I need it He disciplines me, because He loves me. Psalm 28:7 “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and He helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise Him.”Know What Pleases God
Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be STRONG and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Consider all creation and that God opened His mouth and the universe came to be the place He created for you and me. Our star breathing Father knows best. He blew the breath of life into our nostrils, and He chose to write down His Word to nourish our souls. Our Father guides us because He loves us. Gladly we wait on the Lord, as His ways are not our ways. We are all inclined to walk this way, and trust that our Father opens or closes doors. We thank God in all things always, for His way is perfect. Enjoy Your Pen

James 1:2-6 “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt.” Honor the Holy Scriptures and continue to trust God as He pours out His lavish love and grace upon you. Be encouraged knowing that God has a word for you. Psalm
