The Potter, the Maker, the Creator, of all things is Jehovah our God. He is the Maker, who makes all things happen. It was no coincidence that a Jewish woman named Bella offered me a seat at her table at the Dallas airport. With delight I said thank you for allowing me to share your table. She quickly responded “Why not, we are all family.”

Our heavenly Father is full of delightful surprises. He arranged for my month long relocation in Dallas to open the eyes of my heart, and to open my eyes to see that this stranger and I had something in common! In my spirit He nudged “See you both have the same color of nail polish, talk to her!” I smiled quietly not wanting to obey and disturb this polite woman as she was engrossed in her book.

I pointed my fingertip to the top of her book and asked, “Is that Hebrew?” With a bright smile, she replied.”Yes, I am from Israel.” Thrilled to know more, she told me she lives near Cesarea and that her husband David and their three daughters are all engineers. Joyfully, she shared pictures of the family together at the Sea of Galilee. When Bella asked for my name, her immediate response was “We have had much luck with those we’ve met named Barbara!” Her daughter Maya lived in New Zealand for a time and a Christian woman named Barbara took Maya under her wings. Bella called to thank her and the relationship continues. Barbara flew to Israel and received a private tour of many historic sites. My husband Michael waves from the Sea of Galilee in 2018.

The names within Bella’s tribe in Israel are; Maya, Michel, Gil, and David. On this day, we delighted God by our friendly exchange. We shared our plans for the upcoming Passover. “The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.” Psalm 19:8 NASB ❤️
The word “right” in this sentence is yâshâr in Hebrew; that is correct, straight or level. The Word of God is “right“; and those who obey are being correct in His sight, standing on level holy ground. NOT on a crooked path, but on the path that He straightened. My heart rejoices as He assures me by the evidence of His Holy Presence — as He testifies to my spirit, that I am His, and He is my Father, and His commands are pure.

It was such a privilege for my husband, a retired pastor, and I to enjoy a Shabbat in the city of Jerusalem with 30 friends from Mexico. Like many Christians, we pray for peace in Israel. We were highly blessed to visit many places; Hezekiah’s tunnel, Cesarea, Nazareth, Bethlehem, Jericho, and Jerusalem. We stayed in various hotels and amazing kibbutzes. We felt the Word of God come alive as we read Scriptures that recorded events that occurred where we walked.

Psalm 31:6-8 “I hate those who cling to worthless idols; as for me, I trust in the Lord. I will be glad and rejoice in Your love, for You saw my affliction and knew the anguish of my soul. You have not given me into the hands of the enemy but have set my feet in a spacious place.” As a willing delivery agent for God, we partner with heaven to be a part of the supernatural. ❤️ Personal miracles occur when we say what God wants us to speak. God uses those who trust Him to deliver the Word He gives. “Here I am, Lord, send me. 🙏 When the Spirit nudges me, I will not doubt, but do what I am asked.” We were born to serve others. As we respond with a YES Lord, we get to be His agent to bless others. Watch God use you when you ask anyone, “How can I help? Bella invited me, a total stranger to sit with her at Chick Filet. God used Bella to bless me that day!

I did not think to have Bella read the Hebrew blessing engraved upon my ring. Our time together was short as we both scrambled to get to our departing gates. Bella shared that David will return to Israel for Passover. A time to reflect and remember all that God’s plan of salvation has rescued us all from. The bitter herbs, the Lamb shank, the matzoh. Shabbat Shalom to all.

“See, I have placed the land before you; go in and take possession of the land which the Lord swore to give to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, and their descendants after them. The Lord your God has multiplied you, and behold, you are this day like the stars in heaven in number.” Deuteronomy 1:8 NASB

Even while the world is in chaos, our Father’s good plan that Bella and Barbara should meet, blessed us both. What a revelation about relocation! We were both being lifted up and transported to a new location, with deeper appreciation of His will, His timing and His plans for all those who love God.
In 2023 we may not see the changes we pray for. The world cannot see what God is doing beneath the surface of the known facts. There is no sign of possible rescue or deliverance by any alliance, accept from God. We persist in our faith in God and we do not give up. We know that God’s answer, His deliverance is on the way. United we stand in prayer for Israel. Historically the Phoenicians built the first settlement on the shoreline of the Med Sea. In the year 103 BC, the village was awarded to Herod the Great. Israel became a nation in one day, which is a miracle. They have come so far to be so divided within. In 2023 the threats against Israel are worse than in 1973. Three vectors of threats #1 Global, Russians, Chinese, and Yemen. #2 Regional proxies plotting it’s destruction. #3 Military strength is slipping as the volunteer army fails to report for duty, this weakens Israel. The foreign affairs with USA are on a sliding slope. We trust that God’s plan will prevails, however, we need to continue to pray. Globally it is a dangerous time spiritually and militarily. Global brain washing of the next generation is preparing the peoples to welcome a global leader. Last week a 9 year old took a microphone to rally lesbians to stand. A demonic power has been working non stop to destroy Israel. We pray against the evil plans to destroy Israel, and the family as God created it. Pray 🙏

Genesis 1:30 “It was very good” Jehovah created mankind in His own image, and behind the scenes, in the unseen realm, our God is ever at work. The first Shabbat ❤️ Genesis 2 “On the seventh day He rested from all His work. Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.” Jehovah God dispatches an estimated 100 million ministering spirits otherwise known as angels to cause His plan to succeed. Psalm 91:11 “For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.” Notes below written from a study my husband and I attended on March 23 – Speaker Bruce Wilkerson

We were all created, gifted, assigned angels to protect God’s chosen. Jehovah can make rocks sing, donkeys speak and the unthinkable succeed by any means. This story contains revelation of how God continues to work all things to magnify His glory. The old story within 1 Kings chapter 22. An evil king named Ahab brought together 400 prophets and he asked them, “Shall I go to war against Ramoth Gilead, or shall I refrain?” All 400 prophets said “Go!” The wise Jehoshaphat asked, “Is there no longer a prophet of the Lord here whom we can inquire of?” Ahab answered Jehoshaphat, “There is still one prophet through whom we can inquire of the Lord, but I hate him because he never prophesies anything good about me.

The prophet is named Micaiah, son of Imlah.” Micaiah said, “As surely as the Lord lives, I can tell him only what the Lord tells me.” Micaiah continued, “Therefore hear the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on His throne with ALL the multitudes of heaven standing around Him on His right and on His left.” Jehovah ordered a meeting of His angels and asked, ‘Who will entice Ahab into attacking Ramoth Gilead and going to his death there?” Out of the 100 million angels three volunteered. The first two angels were rejected. “One suggested this, and another that. Then another spirit (angel) came forward, stood before the Lord and said, ‘I will entice him.’ Jehovah asked the angel to reveal his strategy. ‘By what means?’ the Lord asked. “ ‘I will go out and be a deceiving spirit in the mouths of all Ahab’s prophets,’ he said. Jehovah chose this angel to fulfill His plan. ‘You will succeed in enticing him,’ said the Lord. ‘Go and do it.’ “So now the Lord has put a deceiving spirit in the mouths of all these prophets of yours. The Lord has decreed disaster for king Ahab.” —Kings did not work in Israel, then or now. Elijah told Ahab, who had personally witnessed the battle, that he could celebrate by eating. Perhaps Elijah had been fasting to end the drought. Ahab evidently went up Mount Carmel from the Jezreel Valley below to eat, but Elijah went up higher to pray for rain. His posture demonstrated humility and mourning as well as prayer. Rain normally came on Carmel from the west, from the Mediterranean Sea. Elijah persisted in prayer. Without a doubt, his request was based on the people’s repentance and God’s promise to bless their obedience with rain. Deuteronomy 28:12.

God uses those whom He has enlightened to do His will. We were all born for a purpose, and equipped for such a time as this. Jeremiah 18 “Go down to the potter’s house, and there I will give you My message. Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in My hand, Israel. If it does evil in My sight and does not obey Me, then I will reconsider the good I had intended to do for it.” Those steeped in tradition answered ‘It’s no use. We will continue with our own plans; we will all follow the stubbornness of our evil hearts.’ ” Those without ears to hear, miss the spoken curse as they trust the tradition to produce the blessings.

Trusting the word of God, I am assured Bella arrived home safely. We all have our own plans and beliefs, the question is have we asked God to enlighten the eyes of our hearts. Isaiah 40:14 “Whom did the Lord consult to enlighten Him, and who taught Him the right way? Who was it that taught Him knowledge, or showed Him the path of understanding?”

Job 28:20 “Where then does wisdom come from? Where does understanding dwell?” Enlightenment comes from the Spirit of God, not from learning, not from our degrees. We all have our own plans and beliefs. But all authentic enlightenment comes when we ask Jehovah for it. Jeremiah went down to the potter’s house, and he saw the Potter working at the wheel. (Below the surface, behind what we can visibly see, God is at work) The pot He was shaping from the clay was marred in His hands; so the Potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to Him. Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah. He said, “Can I not do with you, Israel, as this potter does?” declares the Lord. “Like clay in the hand of the Potter, so are you in My hand, Israel.

“Sing to the Lord a new song, sing to the Lord all the earth. Sing to the Lord, bless His name. Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day. Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the nations.” Psalm 96 The Potter in Hebrew is “shub”. Which means to turn or return. If Bella and family ever return to Mexico, they are welcome to mi casa. We would love to show you the history of the 800 year old fishing community of Chapala. Compared to Israel, 800 years is young. “Peace and Shalom to all.” Pictures from our visit A Tour of Israel

Shabbat Shalom to all who have read this post without remarks. Continue to pray for Israel
