Super Hero Capacity

AAEAAQAAAAAAAA27AAAAJDk1MmY5YzVlLTBjYjgtNDg4OC1iM2UyLWI0MzRlOTIxZmVlYwThe truth is that we who believe in Jesus have His superhero capacity. “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in Me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.” John 14:12  Kids learn by watching and emulating adults. As we adults continue our education by what we read, watch and listen to, we must be mindful of what we teach by our example.  “But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken.” Matthew 12:36 Today the world reaches and teaches inquiring minds through your voice, posts, books and mainstream media.  Many of today’s super athletes have bent their knee in rebellion to God and patriotism. Superheroes in business or in sports became icons of young adults, and of older folks who seek to sought to mimic success. their futures.  Most teaching in USA schools has been skewed to steer the hungry student away from getting the wise counsel of God.  Allowing a kid to pick his gender has become a law in many countries. A good question to ask “Do I believe in my ideas more than I believe in God’s purpose or plan for my life?” Taking the time to do a mental, heart check requires transparent honesty with God.  Sometimes, a roaring positive, self-sufficient belief in oneself can create a blind spot.  To feel indestructible and deeply confident in oneself to 2cb2da9secure the future can give the devil a foothold and a win.  Is it wise to discover who we were created to be and develop a confident identity based on truth. On the flip side if we are working on improving our self=image for the pure sake of impressing parents, employers, or anyone but God, we slip on the banana peel laid before us by Satan himself.  The TRUTH IS: “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God He created them; male and female He created them.”  Genesis 1:27 If we call on God, and trust Him with our future plans, if we listen to hear His voice, we then can respond “in” His confidence to the truth. The only Super Hero who can leap over blockades and raise the dead is Jesus Christ. Only He can impart His superhero capacity in us as the “Holy Spirit”. Hebrews 11:1-7 “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.  This is what the ancients were commended for. By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. By faith Abel brought God a better offering than Cain did. By faith he was commended as righteous, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith Abel still speaks, even though he is dead. By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death: “He could not be found, because God had taken him away.” For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.” By faith we plant seeds and watch them bloom. We flip a switch and dark is illuminated by the light. We trust the sun will rise daily by our faith. Our God draws us, and He give us the gift of faith that we may believe that He spoke the world into existence. “First there was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1 Shrink Club
