Confessions are the words that we speak that transmit life or death. “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” Proverbs 18:21 There are millions of pages of confessions of what happened in history and in biographies. A prosecutor asks the defendant to confess the truth, however, the jury will decide if the truth was told. The tongue of a perverse man will speak lies in an attempt to fool or deceive the jury, however, God cannot be fooled. “For what man knows the things (thoughts) of a man except the spirit of man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things (thoughts) of God, except the Spirit of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:11 God is our Judge and Jury. Our Father tells us to write His word upon the tablet of our hearts. How do we etch His word onto our hearts? God gave us a voice to which the inner ear of man responds. The inner ear feeds the heart of man, so as we confess the word of God, it is written as a treasure upon our hearts. “A good man, out of the good treasures of the heart brings forth good things.” Matthew 12:35 Be full of the written word of God and speak it. “God’s Word conceived in the heart, then formed with the tongue and spoken out of the mouth becomes a spiritual force releasing the ability of God.” Charles Capps a quote from his book “Faith and Confession”.

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16

Am I Condemned For My Sin? Scripture says to those who believe in Jesus, we were resurrected from being ‘dead in sin.’ and now we are made new, alive in Christ. ❤️ “There is therefore now no condemnation”: to those who are in Christ Jesus. Since God the Father does not condemn Jesus, neither can the Father condemn those who are in Jesus. Evil attempts to condemn us, but we overcome evil with good. When the liar reminds us of our past, we speak the word of God and he flees. God does not condemn us, He redeemed us. Be persuaded by the Spirit.

Paul’s “therefore” NOW is important. IF we are NOW one with Jesus and He is our head, our Leader, our Teacher, we cannot be condemned. We are FREE indeed from all criminal charges. Jesus the Judge of all gave us His verdict of NOT guilty. “we are acquitted on all charges of past sin” A person cannot be acquitted or freed and then tried and condemned for the same sins.
John 3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again…no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”

Joined as one with Jesus, we hear God’s verdict. There is therefore “no condemnation In Christ”: “This truth imports a spiritual union between Christ and believers. Christ in me His hope for glory. Christ is in me made possible by the Holy Spirit, and we believe by faith which is a gift.
