A young girl known as Barbie, within her family of five, was the kid who had always felt an internal glee as she scribbled down words on a blank page. She was named Barbara after her maternal, German grandma, whom she never got to meet. She was given free access to a desk, unlimited paper, an old underwood typewriter, and a stapler. Whala! God gave her a dream, and she typed it out, stapled the pages, and at age 7 squealed with joy to be published.
Her writerly skills were imperfect, but a passion grew for the crafting of words. You see, Barbie harbored literary ambitions that went far beyond the constraints of her poor grammar grades. Born from an uneducated man from Arkansas and a brilliant, yet unschooled youth from Germany, her heritage did not promote anything but dreaming, hard work and persistence.
What Barbara clung to was nothing other than her natural gift from God Himself. She often thought that she would like to publish a book one day, but what topic? What subject matter would be worthy of being expanded upon? After her son joined Jesus, Barbara was given another extremely vivid dream. Jesus appeared in her room and called her to take a snapshot of Him and “Tell them that I love them all. The world has made My message way too complicated.”
Barbara was led to read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and summarize it. She gives the Holy Spirit all credit for waking her up with nightly edits. The task was supernaturally completed in 40 days. God gave her the dream, the skill, the persistence and by its publishing, He healed her heart of all grief. “Behind the Curtain” was translated into Spanish. Take this truth to heart. “Some friendships don’t last long, but, there is One Loving Friend, Who is joined to your heart closer than any other.” Prov 18:24
“We are overcomers by the word of our testimony and the blood of the Lamb.” God has a plan for each of us, but we must submit to He who dwells within. Our Father is faithful to fulfill all that He promises to those who seek Him and obey. The summary of the New Testament is in the hands of local orphans. With precise intention, God even gave the title; “Behind the Curtain. ” We all have direct access to the Father because the curtain was torn, and ALL are welcomed to enter into His Holy Presence. “Biblia Compacta” is spreading in Mexico. A Bible study sprang up by the employees of a local restaurant. Carefully cultivate relationships with people in service, and then contend for them as a servant to the King of kings. We have no greater Friend or generous Employer!
Every person will bow down and say Jesus is King. ❤️ So why not boldy ask Him to fill you with the Holy Spirit NOW! King of Glory, fill my heart with the Truth, and with the understanding via the Holy Spirit. I just wanna be with You. I choose not to wait but praise You right now. Oh Lord of all victory, I just wanna know You more. Till You come again and snatch me up, I will meet You in my secret place. Oh mighty King of Glory make Yourself known. Reveal anything hidden in me that does not honor my holy God.
With a desire to glorify Jesus with my life, I am in awe that the King of Glory adopted, sealed, and gave me a future cajoined with the Holy Ghost. Hallelujah Lord, I know You see me, hear Me, and You never let me go. Oh, King of Glory, fill all my emptiness, and give me ears to hear. Give me wisdom to understand and hold onto all Your promises. Thank You for transforming who I was into a child of God. Jesus is the King of all Power. He is my Saviour, Provider and King. AMEN

Drawing out the silver lining within the wreckage of my past, is to remember the many mentors God sent me. The women at QLBC, and Anne Graham Lotz. Those then and now who speak life into me. I praise God for His purpose and plan to prosper all those He adopted. Jason, Hennie and Alex, and other names long forgotten, but names for sure and certain that our Father has in His book. I choose to speak hope into others, who all add His assigned value in this world. My bouquet of friends in Christ is the color of my life. Thank You Jesus for such generosity! God bless us all.
What makes YOU awesome? Your light is unforgettable! The way you continually look for the GOOD and proclaim it. Your generous kind acts. Your truth filled words. Your genuine transparency. Your love towards the down trodden. Your zeal in the way you celebrate the wins of others. Your sincere words of encouragements uplift a sinking spirit. Our Father rejoices over you for the way you have put to use all the gifts He gave you. His glory shines through you, and I recognize it with great joy! See what God sees in you! The Holy Spirit shines through you. You pass by with a contagious smile, and withering flowers bloom.
WHEN we die, friends or relatives bury the rest.
Our memorial will be a time for others to “say goodbye.” All belongings, will be sold, given away or burned. Our books, shoes, clothes, furniture will disappear. The world will keep spinning, all assets will be distributed and our critics will still murmur for a while. Our friends weep for a week, then they return to laughter. Our animals get used to their new owner. We will live in the memory of those who loved us. We are but a mist that evaporates. Our time to make an impact is over as we step into our new permanent place. Our forever address. Reality is in the life after death.
When we depart from earth, temporary things loose all value: Intellect, body, beauty, appearance, name, position, home, car, medals, profession, titles, diplomas,
trophies, friends, spouse,
family. Our spirit lives on in our final destination. What we treasured in our soul, we will have there. Our lasting fortune is amassed during our time on earth. Living a life of love for others is what God treasures. Peace with our neighbors, is our spiritual fortune. So, while we can, it is wise to help as many as we can. As we place all value in God, He keeps our souls safe with Him forever.
Today I choose to be a light:

❤️ I honor my Lord Jesus
❤️ I discipline my thoughts
❤️ I issue grace and mercy
❤️ I will not be offended
❤️ I forgive others
❤️ I bless others
❤️ I overcome evil with good
❤️ I defeat enemy threats
❤️ I pray for others

Looking for Jesus on The Highway to Holiness, a Pilgrims Progress, let go of the baggage and run freely across the valley and up and through His narrow but wide open gate. 🎵 🎶 Sing it, living loud for His sake. Oh Lord, thank Yiu for the open foors. My testimony to include worship lyrics. Having fun making book marks for the gifted “Biblia Compacta”. 😀 Suzanne Carter Eason gave me a Word in August 2023 as we both attended Wellspring. “Get used to more boldness to trust and obey.” This once quiet and shy girl was led to pray for a man from Kansas City recovering from surgery and the sweet beach vendor ladies today. Then gleefully I frolicked as a kid in the waves 👋 First BELIEVE ❤️ Then RECEIVE ❤️ and then SHARE ❤️ The love of God is endlessly exciting, never a dull day of thrilling obedience.

Dear heavenly Father, last night You put me to sleep and gave me such sweet dreams. You woke me up early on this beautiful morning even before the sunrise. I praise You for all Your plans for me this day. Yesterday Holy Spirit gave me the unction, courage and words of hope to seak to strangers on the beach, at a place called the Oasis. Folks were gathered there from around the globe for a personal touch, a revival, a renewed spirit. Your lavish, all embracing love drew them to experience You in the crashing waves, a slight breeze, and spiritual riches beyond measure. Thank You for seeing us, for caring for all the beach vendors and hearing each heart’s desire. Oh God, Your responsive love gives, and keeps issuing abundant grace. Hallelujah!I ask for Your continued guidance, counsel, wisdom, discernment, and strength as I enter this day. Grant me clarity of mind and a keen ear to hear what the Spirit gives me to do and say. Bless me with a supernatural kindness and understanding in my interactions with others today. As I look forward to attending a new beach ⛱️ church, help me find increased joy and refreshment. May I use this time wisely to connect with the folks You place in my path today. Bless the entire, growing, united family of God, my husband, siblings and friends. Holy Spirit touch them all in surprising and delightful ways. Keep them safe and healthy. AMEN

How generous you are to spend so much time with me today, to give me the books, to give me encouragement and information, such important information, and most especially to pray for me —and with me. It was a wonderful time getting to know you and hearing your story (some of it) sharing my story, creating that intimacy that comes from speaking from our hearts, and the wonder of sharing the importance of God and Jesus in our lives. I think you are a gifted teacher and I think Behind the Curtain is clear evidence of that. I had hoped to read more of it before I wrote to you but I have started and will continue. I established my account with The Chosen and looked up Jack Hibbs and
will put him in my contacts, and then I started on your Blog. Wow, it is very impressive. I even found a picture of adorable Rags! The photos are lovely but I didn’t get too much of the text read. Thanks again for everything!!
