Have we seen it all or have we had enough? A wagon full of treasures is what older folks bring forth. Ask me how I came to embrace each wrinkle or grey hair. Escaping trials is a fantasy. We need help, we require deliverance from ourselves. “You are my hiding place; You will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of divine DELIVERANCE. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with MY LOVING EYE ON YOU.” Psalm 37:7 – Our Father is a promise Keeper.

Our gracious, majestic heavenly Father extends our days, and He allows tragedy and fires to refine, teach, and cause us to reflect Jesus in our suffering. Each apostle suffered, but before they were executed or died, they could not be silent about the day when Jesus changed their aspirations and goals. Getting older is a gift from God. Our souls are eternal, which is beyond the grave.

Jesus told us that we would be hated, rejected, and persecuted before we enter His glory. As we age with grace, it helps to throw in heaps of gratitude. Yes, we all acted silly, said and did things we regret. From age 16 – 25, we believed we knew better than God, our teachers, and certainly our feeble parents. Grow Up

Praise be to God for His mercy and grace, those kids grew up and learned the best lessons in life from our multiple mistakes, phopas, and goofs! What our wrinkled faces now bring to the party is our wisdom and humbling experience. Having been raised up by God, our grey hair caps us with the refined evidence of having the God-given privilege to overcome the impossible by our obedience to the Spirit.

Out of His amazing love, God has dealt with us through accidents, sadness and everything else a life “in Christ” allows. “By the blood of the Lamb, and our testimony, we spoke words with authority, and we overcame the plot to destroy us!” As His chosen warriors, we did more than survive the threat, we overcame!

Our bodies are not who we are. We are body, soul, and spirit. When we chose to surrender our souls to the Spirit of God, He changes our thinking into His. His great Force reinforces us with His strength in our weakness. We enter our chapter of acceptance with humility, thanksgiving, and grace. Everything we have been safely guided through, we gladly thank God for new revelations. His breath fills our mouths with apt words to expose the hidden truth. He provides opportunity to share our hope in God.

Philippians 4:19-20 My God will meet all your needs according to the riches of HIS glory IN CHRIST JESUS. To our GOD and FATHER be GLORY for ever and ever.” Romans 8:38 “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the LOVE of GOD that is IN CHRIST JESUS our LORD.” John 14:6

“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the FATHER except through ME.” Romans 8:28 “We know that in ALL things GOD WORKS for the GOOD of those who LOVE HIM, who have been called according to HIS purpose.” John 3:16-17 “For GOD so LOVED the world that HE gave HIS one and only SON, that whoever BELIEVES in HIM shall NOT perish but have ETERNAL life. For God did not send HIS Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through HIM.” Rejoice in the TRUTH. Hallelujah! Book of Books
