Adorn me neck in a plaid. Cover me toes in socks, all buckled up in fancy boots. Outfitted appropriate to go in a Scottish style to scoot.

All buttoned up for breezes. A brisk wind teases me rosy cheeks. This yarn is for a particular lassy. A proud Scot, named Miss Nancy.

Her busy hands lay in rest. A glove to match, ever best. A teacher she was, a teacher she is! Miss Sham, retired from lessons given. She now be all about livin – loud. Her heritage done indeed proud.

“No fancy Nancy” chasing a kilt clad Scottish dream! It continues to be a delightful scream, to remember the past and wonder whatever is next. She be hoppin on a jet plane. International flights ever where she may fancy. The stones of her homeland do anticipate a visit.

Nob hobbin, train stoppin, a night here, a night there. A Scot on the loose, creatin smiles wherever this lass lands. If she knocks on your door, she be teachin a tale.

Her backpack is stuffed full of yarns, songs, and books not yet penned. If ye be her friend once, ye be blessed ever and always. Ah, there she goes, all a twitter and smiling. Tis me, Miss Sham!

Clive S Lewis befriended a long story tellin mate. A token tale of truth they did spin and o’er the years the legendary were laid to print.

Years on earth come and go, then at last, we enter the long journey of eternity. With our beloved friends in tow.

“To know that God loved us, and gave Himself for us, is the constraining argument and motive to love Him, and surrender ourselves to Him. To consider ourselves as no longer our own, but to devote ourselves with every faculty, power, and talent to His service and glory. Our Lord Jesus deserves our all, for He parted with all for us. He made Himself poor, He endured shame, torture, death, and the curse for us, that we, through Him, might inherit everlasting life. Ah! the hardness of my heart, that I am no more affected, or astonished by this truth.” John Newton / Amazing Grace. A Seasons Gush

Poetry gush. Rain on me

1 Corin 10:1-7 NLT ” I don’t want you to forget, dear brothers and sisters, about our ancestors in the wilderness long ago. All of them were guided by a cloud that moved ahead of them, and all of them walked through the sea on dry ground. In the cloud and in the sea, all of them were baptized as followers of Moses. All of them ate the same spiritual food, and all of them drank the same spiritual water. For they drank from the spiritual rock that traveled with them, and that rock was Christ. Yet God was not pleased with most of them, and their bodies were scattered in the wilderness. These things happened as a warning to us, so that we would not crave evil things as they did, or worship idols as some of them did. As the Scriptures say, “The people celebrated with feasting and drinking, and they indulged in pagan revelry.”
