The glow of genuine joy is an effective shield against any scheme of darkness. Praising Jesus all day long definitely defeats evil! This is one of my life Scriptures from a vintage QLBC conference 20 years ago. “I am radiant with joy over the goodness of the Lord! My life is like a watered garden and I sorrow no more.” Jeremiah 31:12 ❤️ “See to it, then, that the light within you is not darkness. Therefore, if your whole body is full of light, and no part of it dark, it will be just as full of light as when a lamp shines its light on you.” Luke 11:35-36 Your mouth speaks out of what has been consumed. Listen to your tone. Is it light or darkness? Choose to deny any air time to fear. Speak LIFE giving words of hope.

Think truth: You are God’s prized possession! Thank You Jesus for washing us clean. Divine secrets, the mystery of His Way, Truth, and the Life in Christ all revealed in a letter to us. Ephesians sparks a great HOPE that cannot be kept a secret! God’s grace is visible in the story of Jesus in us. A people  sealed in the Holy Spirit. The Gospel of Grace gets united with the Gospel of the kingdom of God by our daily surrender to the Spirit of God. “Be holy as I am holy” —Left unto our own limited understanding, we hinder God. However, none of our messy mistakes prevents God from chasing us down. His strength is made perfect in our weakness. We see our destiny clearly when we surrender our way to His. Our legacy is our visible, unshakable faith in Jesus Christ, our Savior.

Lord, thank You for the daily mercies extended. Time is flying; not fleeting! Five minutes to midnight. The opposite meaning of fleeting is everlasting! I am grateful for the Spirit who teaches me humility.  Psalm 40:8 “I desire to do Your will, my God; Your law is within my heart.” Lord, I am Your servant, lead me into all truth.  Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Nobody comes to the Father except through Me.” Satan says, “I am the easy way to pleasure, I am the Liar, and death.” A Christian saturated with the Word walks in a lovely cloud of hope and calm. Daily submitted, we work out our salvation by trusting God at His life giving Word. In times of scarcity or during abundance, soaked in the Spirit makes us a pleasant companion. Aiming to please the Father; our joy in His constant abiding shouts a confidence that glorifies He who sits at the right hand of God. With His help, Psalm 119:112 “My heart is set on keeping Your decrees to the very end.”

I am grateful for God’s blessed assurance! He knows the future, and He wrote it down in His book. Jesus said, “I am the Truth.” My Father only tells me the truth, so it is up to me to agree with Him and keep trusting that I can be of use as I remain surrendered. Only by my submission can HE lead me into the plans that He has for whom He brings into my proximity. Lord, I am willing to learn! Teach me. According to God’s final Word, everything you can see will decay, die or be vanished. Every degree burned, each title forgotten, every trophy melted. Live like it is 5 minutes to midnight. Eternity has two distinct destinations. Live for the One who told you the truth. “No longer will your Teacher hide Himself, but with your own eyes you shall see your Teacher, while from behind, a voice shall sound in your ears: “This is the way; walk in it.” Isaiah the prophet. 30:19

What a fantastic, refreshing, overflowing cup of faith! Who made the coffee bean?Who sends down water? Yes Lord, thank You for coffee. Tune into a fountain of living words and ignite a fire in your belly. Our resurrection power is the Holy Spirit. We call on the Risen One in us to give us a word to speak, wisdom, provision, and healing! We embrace our victory in Jesus. We run out of the grave and into our freedom! We embrace a fresh anointing. Our resilience comes alive as we trust in God. We decree miracles with great expectation from God who is more than able. Plant a garden of hope and PRAY for wisdom to descend from heaven upon ALL local and national leaders. There is no weapon that can conquer, or destroy the plan of God. There is no power greater than the Holy Spirit.

Jesus my Redeemer, Giver, Provider, Source, Power, and Healer. Turn all fear into praise by speaking the name of Jesus. Stomp on the enemy, crush His plan with GREAT FAITH. The force of evil has zero power as God’s people speak in His mighty authority. Our Savior is Jesus, oh Lord, pour out Your royal GLORY! We believe in our wonderful working God. We have seen cancer cured, the blind see, wheelchairs discarded, the dead raised, the deaf hear. We believe, and we testify!

All family, friends, or the odd passing stranger will be lifted up in prayer as they sip a cup of coffee with me. Our Holy God has given me an enormous dose of mercy. I am without excuse as my God is manifest daily in all that is good. Oxygen, the freedom to seek the truth, a soul that lives forever. The  living Word of God, and His plan, and Way is perfect.

Keep it Simple  God gave me His only Son, Jesus. His desire is that none should perish. His blood covers my greed, doubt, pride, envy, and anger. I admit my sins, He forgives, restores, provides, protects, and offers His consistent love.

“Come, follow Me!” Is the invite that supernaturally changes all who accept. The Way, the Truth, and the Life says, “Just come as you are. We will just sit and talk together. Allow Me to adopt you as Mine, and receive your birthright. I will clothe you in righteousness and feed you all good things. Taste and see that the Lord is good. I will leave the Light on.” Only by faith, which is a gift from God, can I hope to hold onto His promises.  My belief in Jesus gives me the best option.  “Listen to what the Spirit is saying.” Speak life.

Over the past 50 years, my own way has led me astray on multiple occasions. Lord, thank You for Your patience and daily mercies. Lesson  learned! Not my will, Lord, but Thy will be done. I am grateful that the facts of “LIFE” in Christ are found in the Bible.  My submission to the Holy Spirit is all that is required of me. Trust and obey Truth, regardless of my feelings. Only as I allow the Holy Spirit to be in charge do I discern things according to God’s Word.  Whatever I think, or feel does not control or change what God says will be.  I am grateful to God for His faithfulness in supplying every financial need. Thank You, God, for Your endless supply, ongoing electricity, food, car, and a cozy home !

Whatever I most need, God provides. When I feel pressed on every side, I choose JOY and  laugh at the days to come.  Hard times do prepare me to let the Spirit loose and have His way. Grapes 🍇 must be crushed to make wine. Diamonds only dazzle under pressure. Olives 🫒 are pressed to release oil. A walnut must be broken in order for the fruit inside to nourish. So too, our soulish ways crack under pressure and the Spirit of God leaks out! He works through my broken parts, and in my weakness, He shows up strong. Tilting towards the One who knows the future, I lean on the Holy Spirit for wisdom and understanding.

There is power in reading what the spirit of “another” was so compelled to savor, to spell out.  Whatever word stirred us was penned in a diary, scratched onto parchment, or pecked on a typewriter.  A dialog between the author and the Spirit of God was placed on a page with impressions. In 2024, the impact of the written Word of God continues to challenge me. No other book has the power to change my life and choices. Reading truth transformed me into a resemblance of His image.

“The prudent man plans for what could happen.” Get Wisdom!  His Source of power cannot be shut down!

Soaking in Scriptures daily, my spirit rejoices and I post the best news – Jesus is the answer. Jesus is the Truth. Every day of our best life was written before birth.

Luke 1:19 “The angel said to Zachariah, “I am Gabriel. I stand in the presence of God, and I have been sent to speak to you and to tell you this good news.” Believe every word of God as it is written, so let it be done.
