Becky Plinke

What is REMARKABLE? Many drive by these extraordinary patches of beauty and see only weeds.  If you draw a person’s attention to the view, with focus, they only see work. Three years ago, Becky Plinke drove down a bumpy road with eyes to see what God has in store for 50 rescued girls.  Innocent soul’s that are devastated from sex trafficking. Looking into the eyes of these girls, Becky sees only HOPE in Jesus.

The extraordinary truth is the strength God gives Becky to keep fighting. Becky is His remarkable, beloved overcomer. As a widow, she and her onboard, ever present Partner take care of 25 kids.  God’s plan for her is to keep thriving and moving forward and beyond any roadblocks. Like David, Becky slings her faith and gets problems solved!  In September 2024, by faith, Becky was healed of stage 4 cancer.  She only sees beauty in the weeds that God created, and she makes a bouquet.  Read about her tenacious journey.

Who is this warrior woman? Fierce as a lion, but gentle as a lamb, Becky boldly walks in the resurrection power of the Spirit! In her short life on earth, God has been giving her revelation and visions since she was five. God created Becky to be His courageous warrior. God has entrusted her with a vision, and Becky will fight tigers to protect the future of all who enter the refuge of La Ola in Jalisco, Mexico.

A Vision Cast “La Ola”

Becky was born of Herbert and LuEvelyn on March 4, 1963 in San Diego, Calif. Like all of us, God wrote every day of her life in His book before she was born.  So He knew at the wee age of 5 that a confused youth would molest little Becky. As it is written, our tears are kept in a bottle, which later  becomes His anointing oil.  This Navy family of 6 moved to Spencer, Tennessee. Her 2 brothers and 1 sister were all in church 3 times a week. “I thought everyone had visions and talked to God.”

La Ola graduates

One late meeting, every member was up praising God.  At the age of 8,  Becky hid behind the back pews. She distinctly heard her name called three times. She knew the voice, and it did not come from her parents or the pastor. “Here I am.”

Future graduates

“It was God calling me, and that day, I was baptized and made new in Christ.” Becky was a top student in grade school and above average in college. When Becky graduated from nursing school at the age of 23, she  worked difficult hours and later married her high school sweetheart Scott.  Scott became a lawyer who found fidelity difficult. After 15 years and multiple affairs, the marriage ended.

Becky, now age 41, worked as the charge nurse in ICU. She had worked alongside Dr. Bob Plinke for 9 years. In May of 2004, the doctor proposed marriage, and Becky accepted. It was a decision that blessed them both. Becky got called to full time ministry, and Bob knew he had to go where God led. Together they got licensed to offer safety to abused girls in Mexico. The love of God birthed La Ola.  Since 2010, 12 young, broken girls grew up in the Lord and have graduated. Just before their 20th year of marriage, Bob was elevated to heaven.

Respected by a loyal staff

In August, Juan Mata hosted a fund raiser for LaOla. God poured out His favor as Becky watched Him do another miracle. A mighty warrior is she who counts her blessings as she faces giants. Nurse Becky understood the pathology reports of her cancer.

With her mind focused on the power of the blood of Jesus, Becky trusted God at His Word. One supporter had made arrangements for her to see the top doctors at MD Anderson in TX. In 2 weeks, knowing she would be poked, scanned and tested for cancer, she knew her faith would also be tested.

Becky relies on the Spirit to reveal the truth. God asked, “Becky, don’t you want more?”  Yes, Becky replied and she keeps knocking! “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person and they with Me.” Revelation 3:20 NIV We are created for a relationship with our Father and Becky teaches her kids by her example of great faith.  She has trained her heart to run first to God with all her concerns, frustrations, joys, problems, and excitement for His Way.

Our Father gives Becky grace. “He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, but He gives grace to the humble.” James 4:6  Our Father makes a way when there seems to be no way! People who go though tragedy, do come out refined and stronger. Becky is constantly aware of her desperate need for God’s grace. She asks, and God provides, in His timing.

God healed Becky of cancer. Confirmed at MD Anderson

“God spoke this world into existence.  Let there be light. Light appeared.  He chose His words wisely. So should we. My heart is full with all the love being sent my way! Thank you all!!! ❤️ Sept 17, 2024 in Texas! Becky wrote, “Hold tightly, don’t let me go. My hand fears it will slip, through waters deep I’m forced to tread, with You my heart to keep. Mind warring, thoughts failing, to win the peace I seek – until I notice down below, another set of feet. I’m not alone! He walks with me, this struggle has an end. In love, we go together, my soul at rest in Him.” Warrior Bplinke 9/17/2024

La Ola Graduation

One graduate has a MBA in business and Becky employs her to keep the books.  Most people who suffer the loss of a spouse, take a long break to grieve. With 24 girls depending on her, she has been given strength by God to keep going. Know that there are many young women among you that have suffered incest, and trauma beyond your imagination. October 11, 2024 “It is time! Time to shed light and truth that breaks the cycle of incest! Incest is an everyday reality throughout the world. I say to you who have been abused… it is wrong!! It was not your fault! Be healed in Jesus’ name! I deal with this every day with my kids. Abuse is demonic. God’s healing is the only way!” bplinke October 2024 this interview aired.

Miraculous Intervention

Board members in Mexico to viewed the progress in October 2024. Negotiations with contractors continue to properly manage the funds to finish the ground floor, the walls, stairs, and living quarters by July 2025.

Due to Gods faithfulness, the completion of the new permanent home for these healing orphans will be done.  Imagine the current living conditions: With one shower and 24 girls, the clock strikes 7 pm and showers begin and end at 10 pm. Help as you are led.

The name La Ola means a continuous wave of love with hands on mothering, and teaching with discipline.  Kandy Contreras has been with Becky for 14 years. This safe house has helped 12 girls earn degrees! God gave Becky Plinke a warrior spirit, but even David needed rest. After Bob died, Becky has had little rest. A car accident, various emergencies then cancer surgery, chemo, fund raising, and building delays. WHEW! God gives her His strength to keep going.

The girls need consistency and Becky has provided. Kandy has worked as the chef at La Ola for 14 years. “All a person’s ways seem pure to them, but motives are weighed by the Lord. Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans. The Lord works out everything to its proper end— even the wicked for a day of disaster. The Lord detests all the proud of heart. Be sure of this: They will not go unpunished. In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.”  Proverbs 16 ❤️

Invite Becky to your club, church, or luncheon to speak and raise awareness.

Angels exist to protect us. Psalm 91. God gives his people dreams and visions. La Ola is a 2 million dollar project that is debt free, praise be to God and His faithfulness.  “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways, My ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8

La Ola Faith

We are covered by the majestic mercy, lavish love and grandiose grace of God.  “You, God see the trouble of the afflicted; You consider their grief and take it in hand. The victims commit themselves to You; You are the Helper of the fatherless.” Psalm 10:14 Adopted children never have to wonder if they were wanted. The children at La Ola grow up in a safe environment full of love. They are taught skills that will last a lifetime. Certain that they are chosen, “God decided in advance to adopt us into His own family by bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ. This is what He wanted to do, and it gave Him great pleasure.” Ephesians 1:5 NLT

“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the Life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself to me.” Galatians 2:20 ESV Our heavenly Father fought and won all our battles. Our Father comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. “When we are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.” 2 Corinthians 1:4 NLT

  1. We are trusting God in all things, and for all supplies needed. What the enemy meant for evil, God turns it around for good. Revelation comes from the Lord. Wisdom is on this job. AMEN

Pray for God’s angels to protect the girls and this project. Building materials have gone missing. Contractors have failed to keep their word. BUT GOD! He is the building contractor who shall never abandon this project.

  2. Today I got to spend time with Becky. She shared one amazing dream. God’s church once looked like a bent over, blind, deaf, crippled, shrivel handed and dying bride. Because He loved what He created her for — Jesus came down in the flesh to rescue, restore, revive and make His bride spotless for the wedding supper of the Lamb. When He arrived, the know-it-all church leaders could not hear Him or see Him. The Spirit rises up, and leads the submitted souls. God is seeking a people who walk in the resurrected life of His Son. Jesus sent His followers out 2×2 with nothing. WHY? So they were forced to trust God for everything. Only God can give us Eternal life, life outside the zone of time.
