Where feet may fail

Selena_gomez_7Real, rugged, authentic, fresh, daily, face-to-face relationships are what matters most! To all who are active on any sort of social media, it is highly recommended to unplug, to let your favored device take a vacation — and purposefully make an appointment to be alone in nature, or in a space without the noise of the world.  Connect with the awesome, living holy presence of God. Selena Gomez is a 24 year old star who has sold over 7 million albums and 22 million single hits. This young starlet abruptly cancelled two concerts to seek silence.  This worship song helped her when she cracked from the stress of super success. “You call me out up on waters, into the great unknown, where feet may fail.  And there I find you in the mystery, in ocean’s deep my faith will stand. I will call upon Your name, and keep my eyes above the waves when oceans rise. My soul will rest in Your embrace.  For I am Yours and You are mine. Your grace abounds in deepest waters, Your Sovereign hand will be my guide.  Where feet may fail and fear surrounds me, You’ve never failed and You won’t start now. Spirit lead me to where my trust is without borders, let me walk upon the water wherever You would call me. Take me deeper than where my feet could ever wander, and my faith will be made stronger. In the presence of my Savior.”  Hillsong title “Where feet may fail”

Selena revealed that she deleted Instagram from her phone and purposely forgot her password because she hated the emotional rollercoaster of likes, dislikes, and comments; selena3when she realized she was addicted to Instagram and it was controlling her life, she distanced herself from it. At her ripe young age of 24, Selena felt like she had no wisdom to offer misled youths. After all, she too experienced typical “young adult” struggles, including cutting ties with her longtime boyfriend Justin Bieber.
