KETO ONION RINGS

Picture and tweaked recipe from KETO CONNECT – Who needs bread!

Gotta have a burger with fries? Why not a jalapeno burger smothered in cheese and fried onion rings to go with it!  One serving of fried onion rings 4.5 net carbs!

ALL IT TAKES TO MAKE BAKED or FRIED ONION RINGS

1 large white onion

1/2 bag bacon rings

2 eggs

2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream

1/2 cup grated white cheese

1/2 cup coconut flour + 1 tsp all Seasonings

GET THREE BOWLS ready for dipping in A) Coconut flour  B) egg wash  C) bacon rind  low-carb-onion-rings-stations-600x400

Soggy pork rind dish will need a refresh of more crushed rinds. Soggy rinds will not stick to the onion.

  1. Start with seasoned coconut flour, egg wash and HWC, rinds place on baking rack
  2. Onions are coated, double back and recoat them starting with the egg wash. 
  3. Places double coated rings on greased baking pan at 425 degree for 15 minutes. Bake em or carefully fry them in coconut oil till crispy.
