Birthday Cake

A birthday breakfast was held to celebrate my 70th! Our guests delighted in a savory French toast breakfast served with piping hot coffee with multiple flavors of cream. During this pre-birthday celebration, my husband Mike and I served up HOPE along with banana nut bread, bacon and eggs. We handed out scriptures to deliver to strangers on the street that accompanied the smile of security we have in Christ and His promises. The event took place outside on the patio and up on the rooftop! Never alone, together we enjoyed live music as our water fountain filled the atmosphere with a pleasing freshness. A grand fiesta to count all our blessings. Without question — A Table Awaits

Pancake Birthday Cake Ingredients: 3/4 cup water + 2 eggs + 1 cup almond flour + 1 tsp baking powder
1/2 coconut milk + 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
Fresh strawberries on top with whipped cream in between layers

1 Corinthians 1:7-9 “Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed. He will also keep you firm to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Mike and Barb hosted a breakfast time of worship and rejoicing for 17 of His saints. Joyfully on September 6, 2021 the first day of the Feast of Trumpets we made a joyful noise and from our rooftop we read scripture together and shouted “Come Lord Jesus!” We will do this every September until we are snatched up. Eagerly we put in motion the gifts He gave us as we wait for His perfect timing! God Bless America

  1. September 15 gave blood. After a week of high anxiety and spiking BP, getting 3rd opinion from Chapala Med which has a team of professionals. Saw Dr Santiago on Sept 17 and he examined all my meds and took me off a steroid which was causing spikes and anxiety. ❤️ God has given me the strength and courage to seek wise counsel. Psalm 119:49-80 “My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life. You are my portion, Lord; I have promised to obey Your words. I have sought Your face with all my heart; be gracious to me according to Your promise. I have considered my ways and have turned my steps to your statutes. I will hasten and not delay to obey your commands. Do good to Your servant according to Your word, Lord. Teach me knowledge and good judgment, for I trust Your commands. It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn Your decrees. Your hands made me and formed me; give me understanding to learn Your commands. May Your unfailing love be my comfort, according to Your promise to Your servant. Let Your compassion come to me that I may live, for your law is my delight.” I Praise the name of Yahweh for He is good, all the time. ❤️ Give me Thy peace Lord in the midst of my trouble and give me a glimpse of Thy Shekinah glory. AMEN

    • Our gracious Father showed me a vivid picture of prayers answered for my birthday. For 3 months my health and heart sank deep into crisis. After visiting 3 specialists, my health worsened into a trip to ER that required nitroglycerin. My lesson: Trust in God, not in all doctors. Surely He smiled upon me as I enrolled the prayers of my Pastor and my Wed study group. After a call from a RN friend on Thurs, Friday I was in the office of the 4th doctor. I got the direction I desperately needed and was taken off steroids which 3 other doctors failed to recognize. Jesus showed me a picture of His faithfulness as I leaned in and listened to who He placed in my path. God showed me that I had simply placed my faith in a pedigree specialist instead of in Him. He answered my cry for direction and my 3 month health crisis got turned about in one day. All glory to God! Thank You Jesus ❤ and to all the many saints He placed in my life who pray for me. Psalm 118:23 “the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes.” Matt 11:28 “Come to Me”. My BP is not spiking, my faith is! “I will give you rest.” AMEN🌺
