My dad used to make the best biscuits and gravy so in dad’s memory, his recipe has morphed into my KETO lifestyle.
KETO gravy ingredients:
8 slices bacon, 3 tbsp bacon drippings
¼ cup heavy whipping cream or coconut milk (60 ml / 2 fl oz)
½ tsp almond or coconut flour + water as needed for desired thickness
salt and pepper to taste (I like pink Himalayan salt)
Directions: fry 8 strips of bacon till crispy, remove and use scissors to clip bacon into bacon bits. Mix up HWC and flour with a fork, pour into bacon drippings. Stir, stir, stir, taste, taste then add more pepper, a bit of water to get to the thickness you prefer. When done, serve over a KETO BAGELS , over a sliced in half MUG bread fully buttered, over fried chicken. Serve with a fried egg and bacon. Store covered and refrigerated for up to 5 days. Reheat as needed.
