Hospice Wisdom

What would you do if these were the last minutes of your life? A dying person responds, “I would make those minutes count.” None of us knows how much time we have left on earth—could be 7 minutes, 7 days, 7 months, or 7 years. The truth remains: Eternity comes in an instant. Either our Lord snatches us up in the Rapture, or we get hit by a truck or die in service to Him. The wise choice is to be prepared to be face to face with God, for we will all be judged. Death and eternity is a certainty. The time we are alloted is NOW, and once spent, we get zero do overs. Like a coin; once we’ve spent it, we can’t spend it again. It’s just gone! God gave us a limited time on earth, but an eternity to endure or enjoy forever. The wisest man in the world wrote Ecclesiastes which proved that his personal intelligence or pedigree was not his Source for what king Solomon knew. Ecclesiastes “Live life then, with a due sense of responsibility, not as [those] who do not know the meaning and purpose of life but as those who do. Make the best use of your time, despite all the difficulties of these days. Don’t be vague but firmly grasp what you know to be the will of God.”—Ephesians 5:15 Phillips EPHESIANS

Psalm 8:4 personalized “who am I that God is mindful of me?” A glad heart rejoices when His Word caresses their soul. His spirit rests upon all those who are loyal to His call. The sweet song in a steadfast heart kindles the fire of His eternal Love. Praise refuels our faith as we stride boldly into the field of service. The Spirit of God never departs from those who trust in Him. The certainty of His holy Presence arrests all evil as we move forward in faith. Confident and assured, we walk fearless by His commanding lead. Consumed by His grace, we dally in His holiness, sometimes we laugh, and other times we weep. We listen, talk, sing and dance in a spirit of thanksgiving for all He is doing. We see Him not, but we know God is with us. We hold fast to the Word of God, and surrender our lives for His great name, honor and glory. 3 John 1:3 “It gave me great joy when some believers came and testified about your faithfulness to the truth, telling how you continue to walk in it.”

Ephesians 2:10 “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” God bless your spirit to rise above all that distracts you from He who has called you His Own. I speak these blessings over you. May your spirit hunger for Truth as the Holy Spirit directs your every step. I bless your spirit with confidence in He who abides in you. For He is greater than the Liar who seeks but fails to destroy your faith. I bless your spirit to fly high above what is seen, with illumined eyes that perceive the unseen. May our Father’s majestic holy Presence be as a consuming fire that burns up all fears or hesitations. I bless you in the the transforming power of Jesus Christ, the King of kings, in Whom there is absolute liberty from fear with JOY unspeakable. May you continue to walk worthy of He who rescued, sealed, adopted, and anointed you to do His will. AMEN

1 Chronicles 16:9-10 “Sing to Him, sing praise to Him; tell of all His wonderful acts. Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.” It is our Father’s good pleasure to provide places to be alone with Him in His glorious Presence. Lord Jesus thank You for Thy precious blood, and for Your constant care and gentle comfort. When we are absent from this earthly body, we will be present with the Lord. AMEN
