GOD’S motive to love us is pure! “For God so loved the world, He so loved being in relationship with us, that He sacrificed His Son, washed the willing, so that we could be reconciled with our holy Father. Lord Jesus I love You more each hour. Your Spirit draws up memories of all those times that You protected, provided and led me into the fullness of Your glorious Presence. When You said “you are forgiven and I have adopted you, I will never leave you because I love you” Oh my, He waited so patiently for my embrace of this stunning truth. Yes Lord, “I accept You as my Lord, and I will not be led astray, I will not depart. Thank You for your faithfulness.” Our Father reveals His love as He makes Himself known to us as we read the Bible. “Be still and know that I am God.” Good days begin with Jesus. Spend time alone with the One whose love never fails. Praise Him in your storm, and during the trials. Cry out as Jehosaphat did “Lord, I do not know what to do”. There are so many examples of mercy and grace tucked within the living Word of God. “What shall I do good Teacher to get to paradise?” Mark 27:23 Jesus responded to expose a flaw in what His children often value. He earnestly desires a welcoming, loving relationship with us — He gently invites us to ‘Walk and Talk’ honestly with Him about anything. Knowing Jesus intimately by His Word, we learn that it is NOT by our performance that makes us heaven bound – He asks us to love one another and to value our Father’s love above all else. Many tend to value stuff more than love, or we take pride in our good deeds.

Where does your help come from? Psalm 18:12-19 “He made darkness His covering, His canopy around Him—the dark rain clouds of the sky. Out of the brightness of His presence clouds advanced, with hailstones and bolts of lightning. The Lord thundered from heaven; the voice of the Most High resounded. He shot His arrows and scattered the enemy, with great bolts of lightning He routed them. The valleys of the sea were exposed and the foundations of the earth laid bare at your rebuke, Lord, at the blast of breath from your nostrils. He reached down from on high and took hold of me; He drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me. They confronted me in the day of my disaster, but the Lord was my support. He brought me out into a spacious place; He rescued me because He delighted in me.” Hallelujah ❤️

Our Lord Jesus does not force Himself, His love, His Way on anyone. Broken people tend to reject love as they fear being hurt. I know this because it was difficult for me to fully accept the power and faithful endurance of His love. Be the peacemaker, claim the Peace Jesus offers and be at peace with yourself today. “If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.” 1 Corinthians 13:1-8 – Memorize this Scripture and believe in what Jesus is telling you.

Oh Lord, I give You all the glory for the blessing of a new day. Thank You for each breath, and every opportunity to encourage others. To hear what the Spirit is saying, to see through the eyes of Thy Word, to speak from the overflow of Your love, to walk in Your magnificent Presence, is a daily miracle. MY Lord Jesus Christ saved me, transformed and equipped me for such a time as this. John 5:17 “My Father is always working, and I too must work.” We are His children and as His children we must do our Father’s will. If Jesus always did what the Father asked, we must also gladly obey even when we feel inadequate, He makes all things possible. Be kind to someone who has offended you, forgive as you were forgiven much. Our Father is love and we are “loved and forgiven”. “Freely you have received; freely give”. Pray for one another, and uplift those who are heavily burdened. Today November 17, 2022 Michael and Barbara got married at Quail Lakes Baptist Church in Stockton, California. Glory to God, He blessed us with 10 years so far…Hallelujah and AMEN
We drive down a cobblestone road to our casa, and we admit that life, at times can be bumpy, but this is a message of HOPE. Be encouraged by our certainty of Who lives in us is greater than the enemy who stalks us with fear day and night. “Only Jesus” is the answer. We have zero power to fight the forces against us, but with our eyes are fixed on Jesus, we thank God for His plan of salvation, and our HOPE remains secure. If you long for days of morality, truth, justice and family, then spend time in God’s Word, it stays the same, it does not change or shift to adapt to this world. The mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Citizens now have passports marked, Gender X. The popular and promoted current world view does not line up with God’s Biblical view of life His way. Delusion is multiplying as students at University believe the professed lies. The deceiver is working overtime to steal your faith in God. Jesus said in the last days that deception will increase. The deception will come from within the church and from outside. Be ready. Be sober. The only way a disciple of Jesus can detect deception is when we read, eat and, digest and assimilate the Word of God. When we know and apply the word of God, we cannot be deceived. Humility is attractive because it accepts others. You feel valued and important when you are in the presence of humility. The humble person is not pressing their agenda; rather they are listening for your needs, dreams, and fears. Humility is other centric. It is also in a position to trust in God. You tend to trust someone who trusts God. They depend on their Heavenly Father because they recognize their limitations without Him.
Humility also solicits followers. People want to follow a person of humility. They respect the honesty that travels with humility. This is vital to effective leadership. People will go the extra mile for an honest and humble leader. They serve with passion because they feel they are served and cared for by their humble leader. However, humility not only attracts positive reactions but negative ones as well.
“The Lord sustains the humble but casts the wicked to the ground” (Psalm 147:6).
Critics can hound the humble. Some critics view the humble one as weak, and therefore their humility is a target for criticism. Their strategy is to wear down the humble one and force him or her to capitulate to the critic’s claims. However, the critic may underestimate the resolve of the humble. A humble person, submitted to the will of God, will not wither under the critic’s verbal firestorm. When there is a conflict between pleasing God or pleasing people, Christ is the choice.
There is a deep reservoir of stamina within the heart and mind of the humble to do what is right and trust God with the results. Over time the humble person will learn from his critics and become better because of them, but he will not compromise his core values and principles. Ultimately, the goal is to humbly love God and people. This is attractive.
“He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you? But to do justice, to love kindness, And to walk humbly with your God.” (Micah 6:8).
