Margin Notes

A Saint Patrick’s day lyric written by a man named Mr. Green. At midnight a letter to the Lord was written, the composer did not know where to mail it, so he tucked it in his Bible. He sweetly whispered to have baby skin replace the callosed skin of his heart. Oh how this world wearies all those who live to please the Lord.

These margin notes were written by a simple man who scribbled words to tell God his heart. His way of worship in spirit and on paper with truth. “Oh Lord You are beautiful, Your face is all I seek. For when Your eyes are on this child, Your love abounds to me, an unworthy vessel indeed. Oh Lord my body is tired, but You keep reminding me — of many holy tireless men who spilled their blood for Thee. I want to take Your word and shine it all around….but help me just to live it Lord….. and IF I’m doing good, help me not to make a sound —-that I may give all glory to You. Keith Green, a Jewish man who found the truth of Jesus wrote these lyrics.

Oh Lord please light the fire that once burned bright and clear. Replace the lamp of my first Love, thats fueled with holy fear. I want to take Your word and shine it all around….but first help me ….just live it Lord.”

Continue to worship the Lord in spirit with these lyrics. “The Son of Suffering” Oh, the perfect Son of God, In all His innocence, Here walking in the dirt with you and me, He knows what living is. He’s acquainted with our grief. Man of sorrows, Son of suffering. The blood and tears, How can it be? There’s a God who weeps, There’s a God who bleeds. Oh, praise the One, Who would reach for me. Hallelujah to the Son of suffering — Some imagine You are distant and removed, but You chased us down in merciful pursuit. To the sinner You were grace, and the broken You embraced. And in the end, the proof is in Your wounds. Yes, in the end, the proof is in Your wounds. Blood and tears, How can it be? Sing hallelujah to the Son of suffering. Hallelujah! Your cross, my freedom, Your stripes, my healing, All praise King Jesus, Glory to God in Heaven. Your blood, still speaking, Your love, still reaching. All praise King Jesus, Glory to God forever. Oh, praise the One — Who would reach for me. Your blood, still speaking, Your love is still reaching. All praise King Jesus, Glory to God forever. Give Him all the glory.

How happy do you want to be? Are you happy now? We all have a choice to replace destructive habits or addictions to any outside influence, substance, gaming, gambling, drinking, shopping, browsing —with the Word of God. “The Lord is God and He has given us light — How happy are those whose way is blameless, who live according to the Lord’s instruction! Happy are those who keep His decrees and seek Him with all their heart.” Psalm 119 —And IF I’m doing good — please help me — never make a sound, except to give all glory to You.

Come Out A time to reflect, a time for change, a time for A Jesus Revolution
