Whispers

We all have heard his tempting whispers. He may tell us we aren’t good enough, not quite smart enough. The enticer, the enemy may tickle your ear with the lie that you are not worthy. That same Deceiver whispered in the ear of king Herod that a baby would steal his power and throne. He told Hitler that he was superior to the Jews. That nagging voice is always there because he needs people to rage in anger, hate, envy and fight. When we give in and believe we are better than anyone, he gets stronger.

There is another voice that whispers “walk this way.” His voice says “follow Me, trust Me because He who is in you is greater than the one whispering lies.” The One Voice that the devil fears is the voice of God. So when we speak God’s Word, the devil flees. Our love for Jesus does not make us better than anyone. His love for us and our devotion to His Word makes us more like Him, not better. AMEN

Our Father says, “Be still and know that I am God. ” His voice tells us that we are forgiven, and we are His. He whispered long ago “Arise, shine, for Thy Light has come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.” Isaiah 60:1 Our Father promised “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they will see God.” Matthew 5:8 Soul Rest

Today was my last Sunday in Plano, Texas. I was blessed to visit three different congregations during my 30 day stay. All things being BIG in Texas, I get to report that the Body of Christ is united in the message that Jesus Christ is Lord of all. One mega church, one medium church, and one small church was visited. Regardless of size or denomination, we worshipped the Lord in song, we read scripture and God’s Word was preached. The link below is a summary of sermon number three. My Spirit filled family never fails to delight my soul. My faith in my Father’s plan is not shrinking, but growing stronger. The final Sermon in Texas was entitled “Lamb born again” and the closing song was “We are His”. Because of Christ we are more, we are His ambassadors and we represent our King best when we humble ourselves and deny the voice of pride. I thank God for all the days He ordained for me in Texas. I was greeted by Y’all with warm welcomes. I genuinely appreciated all the paved sidewalks, long stretches of streets and wide smiles. Wherever we are God is, and He has once again exceeded all my expectations! God is good to us, all the time. Listen to what the Holy Spirit is saying, listen to His whisper. AMEN

There is so much to be grateful for! Eyes to See
