The Webster definition of occult is anything pertaining to a system of knowledge, or a secret society that claims a supernatural power. There are dozens of secret occult practices today that go oppose God and His Word. The dark side of the spiritual realm is busy manifesting among the nations. Dark societies meet in secret. They only disclose their practices to those who have been formally initiated by a blood sacrifice and other means of gaining entry. They hide, conceal or shut off viewing by the outside world. God knows about the occults in this world, He knows its members and what they practice that they think is hidden. Anything done in secret, or in the dark – will be exposed by the God’s light of truth. Central to man’s desire to be his own governor, his own god — causes him to rebel against his Creator, God Almighty. Rebellion is what caused Satan to fall from God’s grace. Adam and Eve rebelled against God because they trusted another voice. They began to question the authority of God and His Word. God did not conceal anything from His creation. Satan deceived them saying “ye shall not surely die.” This implied that God had lied to them. Satan is the master deceiver, he is the Liar, and he seeks to dethrone God Almighty from the hearts of mankind. Satan uses scripture out of context and he twists the Word of God. Satan attempts to teach mankind a different truth. The gospel of evil is in the church. “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof.” 2 Timothy 3:5 God warns us to have nothing to do with those that attend church, but practice evil.

PRAYER AGAINST OCULTISM  

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, I confess and repent for my involvement in occultism, tarot cards, crystal balls, numerology, witchcraft, Satanism, idol worship (is anything we give more attention to than God), palm reading, fortune tellers, Job’s Daughters, the Moose Lodge, the Elks Club or Freemasons. Father,  I ask You to forgive me and all of my generations for any participation in _________________.  I repent for opening doors to the occult without realizing it in my life and in my generations. Holy Father, apply the blood of Jesus to these closed doors. Because my Father has forgiven me, out of obedience, today I choose to forgive myself and my family for our participation. In the name of Jesus Christ and by the power of His blood, I cancel all power and authority of Satan over me and my generations resulting from these activities.  I renounce and break all curses on my family for trusting in man more than God, and for any form of participation in Freemasonry, rebellion, witchcraft, sorcery, idolatry, false beliefs, matriarchal witchcraft or the practice of any occult.  With God’s authority, I bind all spirits involved in these occult practices. I cancel their power and command them to leave me now and never return, nor attack anyone else in my generations. Holy Spirit, please come, heal my heart.  Restore me from the consequences that resulted from the sin of rebellion against God.  Restore to me all that the enemy has stolen from me.  Holy Spirit, speak Your truth to me about this situation and tell me if there is anything else. AMEN (be still, listen, write down any word given, a memory, a scripture and pray about it)
