Happy 91st Birthday, Marge Hoyle! Your life of love and faith has been a beacon of hope for your immediate family and to all the “Margie kids” that circle the globe. I remember attending your 80th fiesta at Paula’s. Many of your students from Korea sent you emails. Notes of appreciation were collected from dozens of souls you have impacted. Thank you for all your effective prayers. We all love Margie ❤️

To know Gods heart for all people requires that we discern their current condition. We know who they once were, and who they have become. With grace, we determine if they speak from their heart, and what they may have left unsaid. Our effectiveness in service rests upon our ability to see through God’s compassionate eyes. Our Father gave us the Holy Spirit that we may be enabled in our spirit to know the truth about the person He places before us. God sees Marge, and He hears her thoughts, and He still lavishes His love upon her. While in a state of declining memory, His grace dictated prayers and the idea to write cards to Marge and build her up. She can not recall the conversations of yesterday, but she can read and savor a written note. Reminders of her past trips. Margie loved to travel. Speak of the things she loves. Family that joined her at her birthday party. We do not expect Marge to be who she has always been. If frustration comes up, we pause, and pour it all out to God. There is a time of weeping, a time of adjusting.

Paula Straw provided such patience and kindness towards Marge. She has personally observed Marge and has researched all the best options. Noticing that Jesus had a different word for each person, and each word was perfect for who they were, in their current state. Those who did not believe, He invited to come. To those who followed, He invited them to bear the cross that comes with love. To those who volunteered, He invited them to count the cost. The words of Jesus were consistently perfect. Even when our memory fails us, our Lord accurately remembers us all. Marge had global pen pals — Lord will now bless her with weekly cards. Marge now has new room mates, but the Holy Spirit has never left. Her permanent resident is there with her. We pray that Marge may rest in Him with deep sleep and rise up with peace eternal. Mike and I will mail Marge cards weekly to her new address.

Margie served God in Korea for 20 years. This is a word from Dr. David Yongi Cho from Korea. “THE HOLY SPIRIT will bless you when you read the Scriptures, but you must ask Him first. The Holy Spirit can direct you as you witness for Christ. The Holy Spirit can anoint you as you preach and teach the Word of God. But if you want such an intimate communion with the Holy Spirit, you need to pray.

❤️ Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
❤️ Colossians 3:1″You have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.”
❤️ Hebrews 3:1 “Holy brothers and sisters, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, whom we acknowledge as our apostle and High Priest.”
❤️ Colossians 3:12 “As God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.”
❤️ Colossians 3:15 “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.”

Paul wrote from prison: “I want you to grow, to abound, to increase more and more.” I Thess 4:1 The followers of the Way were lacking in their faith and needing to be encouraged. We are each at different levels of faith. Life on earth is a roller coaster, but God is unchanging. Our youth walk, and during our elder walk, we grow in Him, from glory to glory as we PRAISE HIM. We praise, and He pours out. His grace and favor are like gasoline poured onto the flickering fire of faith. 🔥 Whoosh!

Oh Lord, Thank You for filling us with the Spirit! We don’t have to look far to find You, You are in us! We honor and praise our heavenly Father for the promise of eternity without pain or suffering. For now, we do suffer many things, but only for a little while. Until Jesus calls us home, may gladness overtake you! In the midst of chaos, look through the eyes of Christ, and see the glory of God revealed all around you. Praise God in every situation, because He has never left, He is here with us. Immanuel!

God gave us the Holy Spirit with the intention-that every day, we are stirred within and by His power, the mind of Christ overrides our thoughts. The natural man cannot live one hour of a godly life unless by the power of the Holy Spirit. A person may live a consistent life, an irreproachable life, a life of virtue and diligent service. But to live a life acceptable to God, in the enjoyment of God’s salvation and God’s love, is to live in AWE of JESUS WHO sacrificed His life to save us from our sorry ways. To walk in the power of the new life, we must surrender our ways, and all our grumbling, so we can praise God! Submit to the Holy Spirit and praise God.

Pastor Cho “I first realized this truth in the early days of my ministry. I tried so hard to lead people to Christ, but with few results. As I was in prayer, the Lord spoke to my heart, “How many quail would Israel have caught if they had gone quail hunting in the wilderness?” I responded, “Lord, not too many.” The Spirit asked me “How did the quail get caught?” I then realized that God sent the wind, which brought the quail. The Lord was trying to show me the difference between chasing souls without the Spirit’s strategy and working in cooperation with the Holy Spirit. Then the Spirit of the Lord said, “You must get to know and work with the Holy Spirit!” So I obeyed!”

Pastor Cho. “I knew I was born again and that I was filled with the Holy Spirit. Yet, I had always thought of the Holy Spirit as an experience and not as a personality. However, getting to know the Holy Spirit would require my spending time talking with Him and letting Him talk to me. This fellowship with the Holy Spirit has brought me into every major change in my ministry. Through my daily fellowship with the Holy Spirit, the idea to develop a home prayer cell system was born and spread.”

“The founding of Church Growth International came out of fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Every major principle that I teach in Korea and around the world did not come out of a theological book, but they came from genuine and intimate fellowship with the Holy Spirit in prayer. In my personal life, fellowship with the Holy Spirit has made all the difference in the world. I could not live content without that sweet communion with His presence with which I have become so familiar.”

“Discovering throughout these many years that the Holy Spirit renews me spiritually, mentally, and physically, I have seen that daily communion with the Holy Spirit is a necessity. Out of the one hour that I spend in prayer every morning, much of that time is spent in fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Each time God gives me something fresh and new from the Word, I know that it comes from the Spirit of truth who dwells within me. Glory to God.”

“Just as the Holy Spirit caused Mary to conceive, so the Holy Spirit can impregnate us with the living Word. “The letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life” 2 Cor 3:6. This is why our televised service in Korea is one of the highest-rated programs. People are not just interested in being taught the Word, but they desire the TRUTH that is ANOINTED by the HOLY SPIRIT. Paul experienced teaching in this way.”

Paul testified to the church at Corinth: “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the SPIRIT which is of GOD; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.” 1 COR 2:12 ❤️

“In the morning, I can sense His freshness come over my heart, and I have the strength to go through the challenges of that day, knowing that in every situation I will be completely victorious. I have also discovered that I am not smart enough to solve the thousands of problems that come to me regularly. Yet, I can just say to the Holy Spirit, “Sweet Spirit, please let me tell You about the problem I have. I know You know the mind of God, and You already have the answer.” With assurance, I then await the answer from the Holy Spirit.” Blessings arrive as we pray in the Spirit! AMEN

GOOD NEWS SPREADS faster and it IMPACTS those with ears to hear more deeply! PRAYING effectively for your loved ones daily. Psalm 145:8-11 “The Lord is gracious and He is most compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. The Lord is good to all; He has compassion on all He has made. All Your works praise You, Lord; Your faithful people extol You. They tell of the glory of Your kingdom and speak of Your might.” ❤️ Philippians 4:19-20 “My God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus. To our God and Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” ❤️Matthew 6:26,34 “Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet Your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.” ❤️ Isaiah 41:10 “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” ♥️

“He Knew! Jesus knew the weight of our sin would crush Him like the Olive in an olive press, and yet, He presented Himself as the sacrifice, endured torture, and became the blood covering on our doorpost. He arose, to fill and dwell within us. Marking us with a seal, for eternity.” bplinke

Mike and I pray with Margie daily on the phone. Transitioning into a care facility is hard. Write a card to Margie with Scriptures. Her memory is failing so we pray the Holy Spirit will remember to Margie His Word.
