Telestai

Where would we be without faith? The final Greek word Jesus spoke meant “It is Finished.” The New Testament was written in Greek. In the  original text, we read the word Telestai, which has a few profound meanings.

A) In business, Telestai meant that a debt had been fully paid.
B) In court, judicially, Telestai meant that your sentence has been fully served.
C) In a military context, Telestai meant that a victory was won.

THE FULL MEANING OF THE WORD JESUS SPOKE with His final breath.

When Jesus declared “Telestai” it meant that our debt of sin is fully paid. Our judgment for sin has been fully served, and that the spiritual war against death, sin, and Satan is completely over, and God won. In Christ,  the Work of Salvation gave us victory, reconciliation, and a NEW LIFE in Him!  Our Father provided the perfect blood sacrifice needed to fully atone for mankind’s sins against a Holy God.

1) The reason Christians post content on social media about Jesus is to BLESS AND EDIFY with truth.

2) God created each of us with a unique personality and gifts that we use on modern platforms to speak or write words that reflect light.  In a word, Jesus reveals total FREEDOM for all who BELIEVE.

3) Why do we have the awesome ability to communicate directly with God and others? The Spirit of God can use whatever we write or speak to edify the hearts of those with ears to hear.  By God’s grace alone, Christians do their best to love, not offend. To highlight the good (God’s Presence) in each situation. To add facts that matter. Why would anyone keep the joy of salvation a secret? Let NOT the FEAR of REJECTION keep anyone SILENT!

“He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: and he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.” Luke 1:32-33 The cost was too great, and our freedom is too precious. We are NOT fans of Jesus, we are His beloved. We are the children of God, and we were redeemed for a public purpose. So we sing, we write, and we parade Jesus in the streets. LIKE it or NOT, without shame we post Scripture, and we will NOT be SILENCED.

Jeremiah 4:22 —28 “My people are fools; they do not know Me. They are senseless children; they have no understanding. They are skilled in doing evil; they know not how to do good.” Thank God for the Holy Spirit and for our resurrection from the dead! We were once as blind as the fools in Jerusalem, but GOD, sent us His Spirit and we were reborn, made into a new creation, for His purpose. Ask the Holy Spirit for discernment, wisdom and understanding of the times we now live in. “He who is in us, is greater than he who is in the world.” John 4:4 — The Holy Spirit in us will show us the Way of God. Ask Him, Trust Him, and obey His nudge. “Walk this way.”

John 14:22-26 “Then Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, “But, LORD, why do YOU intend to show YOURSELF to us and not to the world?” Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves ME will obey MY teaching. MY Father will love them, and WE will come to them and make OUR home with them. Anyone who does not love ME will not obey MY teaching. These words you hear are not MY own; they belong to the FATHER who sent ME. “All this I have spoken while still with you. But the Advocate, the HOLY SPIRIT, whom the FATHER will send in MY name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.”

Jesus spoke the word Telestai with authority.  Our Father has equipped us by sending us Holy Spirit.  With His authority, speak directly to your problem and believe in your heart for real change. Don’t just casually allow depression, anxiety, or sickness to overtake you. By the word of our testimony, and the power of His blood, speak with BELIEF in Jesus and His final word Telestai.  Be the bold Overcomer you were born to be. To God be the glory.

The Gospel tells us the truth. We have an Advocate, a Counselor, a Comforter, the perfect Teacher, who Heals our minds and bodies.

  1. Holy Spirit give all readers understanding.

John 16:7-11 “But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you. When He comes, He will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment: about sin, because people do not believe in Me; about righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see Me no longer; and about judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned.”

  2. QUESTION: Have you ever been supernaturally touched by the Spirit as hands were laid on you? ANSWERS:

“Yes. David Diga Hernandez prayed for me and I was hit with what felt like three waves of water. The third one was so strong it knocked me back. It confirmed some large decisions that I had been praying about.” Troy Black.

” I experienced waves of water, a cleansing flood after some unforgiveness I was struggling with. When I finally released my bitterness, it was like the most absolute pure water that you can imagine just washed over me. I felt all the anger and hurt and unforgiveness just wash away. It was like I was being baptized.” Dave Campion

“Yes. My first semester at CFNI in 1997. On the floor for 2 hours. Holy Spirit convicting me of things I prioritized above Him. Still marked to this day by that encounter.” Craig Muster

“Yes, in 1996 at Brownsville Church a lost religious Baptist woman was slain in the spirit and when I got up there was a love and hunger for God that hasn’t changed.” Bonnie K.

“Yes, Ruth Heflin prayed for me 20 years ago when I was slain in the Spirit and it changed my perception of who God was. I came away from that encounter with a deeper desire to worship him with my whole heart and that it’s still my desire to this day. But I can say that few times I’ve been slain in the Spirit that only a small percentage of the time was I truly changed.” Judy Hyder

“Yes!! Last year, for months on end, I battled depression and a spirit of fear. Finally, during one Sunday morning service a dear elderly lady of God came and laid her hands on my head while I was weeping at the altar. She commanded the spirit of fear to leave me. And as soon as she did, I felt my body go limp and I sank to the floor. I could literally feel that spirit lift off of me. I sank to the floor and wept in relief and joy. From that moment on, I have not battled it again.” Liz Mire

“Yes, once!! I’m a Baptist lady who had certainly read about it a lot but skeptical as to it being genuine. What a surprise to experience it!! Of all places, I was in Jerusalem! On tour with Michael L. Brown in 2014. I won’t go into the whole story, but I remember Dr Brown barely touching the top of my head and calling out “Fire”. Next thing I knew I was coming to, on my face on the floor. Almost a half hour had gone by and I was out. I was filled with such peace, love and thankfulness! When I returned home I was much more sensitive to the Holy Spirit, things just happened, more answered prayers…. speaking in tongues followed. I’m so thankful to realize a deeper relationship with our Lord!!” Donna Rogers

“Yes, absolutely. I was neither looking for it nor expecting it. Our church was having some people come in to minister to the children. As the Youth Pastor then, I was standing near the group in the sanctuary. At one point one of them turned to me and prayed and said, “Father, I ask for a double anointing.” Her pinky finger barely grazed my forehead and I felt the power of God hit me. I heard a sound on the way down and later realized it was my body bouncing off the corner of the oak pews and then onto the concrete floor. I never felt anything, no pain and no bruising. I was aware that I was lying on the floor on my back and could feel God deeply working in my spirit. It is truly difficult to describe this sensation. I was also aware that I could will it to stop, but I didn’t want it to stop until the Lord was finished doing. It was a deeply calm and peaceful sensation…an incredible sense of joy and well-being.That was nearly 40 years ago and after it has followed a lifetime of Ministry.” Bill Baker

“Yes, in 1985 at a Revival in Stockton, California. Was recently divorced from abusive husband. The Texan Preacher pointed at an audience of over 1,000 and called out the anointing. My body stood up, my mouth opened, and a heavenly language poured out. I was raised a Catholic and this experience drew me into the Word of God as the Holy Spirit gave me understanding and revelation. I am blessed by His constant Presence at age 72.” Barbara Hoyle

Dr Michael Brown asked the question on FB these are testimonies to savor.

  3. Choose to OVER COME evil with GOOD! Shine Bright His Light and sparkle on purpose! Sing Nothing Greater! We’ve seen many places and many faces we’ve come to know. Times we’ve celebrated, sweet drink we’ve tasted, but times come and go. But there was a TREASURE POURED without MEASURE over the EARTH. A LIGHT that’s so BRIGHT it outshines the brightest lights of the world. NO GREATER FRIEND I know, no greater peace I know! No greater HOPE I know, no greater JOY I know. I could search high and low, and everywhere I go, there is No greater LOVE I know. My great INSPIRATION, HEART’S MOTIVATION, still comes from YOU. No one more FORGIVING, no one more HEALING, no one more TRUE. Your LOVE is a TREASURE, POURED out without MEASURE, over all the earth! A LIGHT that’s so BRIGHT it outshines the brightest lights of the world. No greater FRIEND I know, no greater PEACE I know. No greater HOPE I know, no greater JOY I know. No greater RIVER FLOWS, than You JESUS! With all my heart, soul, mind and strength I LIFT JESUS UP 💜
