
What a Joyful 3rd day of grounding in 2022. Sitting in a chair with my bare feet resting on grass. Why? It reduces stress, and increases oxygenation at a cellular level. Walking barefoot on wet grass is not always possible — but it does neutralize the electric charge that runs through our bodies. When our skin touches the earth, the earth’s charge can help reduce a number of ailments. Thanks be to God, the earth’s surface has a negative electric charge, and when it comes in contact with human tissue, there is an equalization. THE EASIEST WAY to get grounded is to simply take your shoes off, and walk wild on grass while taking in deep breaths. 2022 is going to be fabulous! A barefoot connection allows electrons to flow from the earth and into our body to create a neutral electrical charge. People who walk barefoot, or use grounding mats report improvement in blood glucose, osteoporosis, immune function, blood flow, and stress reduction. Since society has changed, we are barefoot less, and indoors more with all kinds of electronic devices. There is mounting evidence of the benefits of grounding mats. Deeper sleep, biological rhythms adjusted, and increased serotonin. Science understands how electrons from antioxidants deactivate free radicals. These free radicals play a role in immune function, inflammation, and chronic disease. A 2015 study by a trusted source found mood was improved after an hour of grounding. My research on the benefits of grounding indicates repeated confirmation of only positive effects. Grounding basically prevents blood cells from clumping due to high stress, hypertension, high cholesterol. When blood cells clump together, they do not get oxygenated. When blood cells unclump, they get oxygen and we feel more energy. 90 % of our bodies energy comes from oxygen, not the food we eat, not exercise. Grounding helps the ANS autonomic nervous system. (ANS is a component of the peripheral nervous system that regulates involuntary physiologic processes including heart rate, blood pressure, respiration, digestion, and sexual arousal), while increasing parasympathetic activity and, most recently, increases in heart rate variability (HRV). Higher HRV (or greater variability between heart beats) usually means that the body has a strong ability to tolerate stress or is strongly recovering from prior accumulated stress. At rest, a high HRV is generally favorable and a low HRV is unfavorable. The lower HRV is an important indicator of the status of autonomic balance and stress on the cardiovascular system. A decrease in HRV indicates autonomic dysfunction and is a predictor of the severity of progression of coronary artery disease. The positive effects of grounding on HRV suggest that simple grounding techniques can be utilized as a basic strategy for supporting the cardiovascular system, especially during situations of hypertension.The study demonstrated a profound decrease in blood viscosity, or clumping. Blood viscosity is a measurement of the thickness and stickiness of an individual’s blood. It is a direct measure of the ability of blood to flow through the blood vessels. Increased viscosity increases the resistance to blood flow and thereby increases the work of the heart and impairs organ perfusion (to force a fluid through (an organ or tissue) especially by way of the blood vessels.)

Being grounded is a simple way of returning to the benefits of nature. Vitamin D source, and releasing negative electrical charges. It is healthy and FUN to run with naked feet in nature.

Grounding works great! Increases my energy, keeps my blood pressure in check, and I sleep like a champ. I even made an earthing half sheet from some conductive fabric (see link below), then I put in a grounding rod outside and ran a wire from my conductive sheet to the grounding rod. It works great, though I disconnect during lightning storms.
For some folks a grounding sheet doesn’t work well so they use a grounding pillowcase instead. Actually I use a grounding pillowcase when I travel.
