❤️ “Herein is love, NOT that we loved God, but that He loved us……” I John 4:10 Our Father loves us even when we ignore Him. He provides for our daily needs, and yet most think of Him little. Jesus loves fisherman, politicians, tax collectors, prostitutes, the blind and deaf. Jesus treats all of us as if we are fully WORTHY of His love. He extends His eternal love equally to all. “Let Your faithful love come to me Lord, Your salvation, as You promised. Then I will answer the one who taunts me, for I trust in Your Word. Never take the word of truth from my mouth, for I hope in Your judgements.” Psalm 119:41 With your lips recount your blessings. “Remember Your word to Your servant; You have given me hope through it.” Psalm 119:49

When I am troubled, He is there to comfort and guide me. Truth is, when I am hurting, my condition does not disturb the work day of the world. My workmates of 20 years will forget me in a few weeks after I retire or expire. Therefore, when we count the constant love and generosity of God, our gratitude should surpass all the wealth of the world.

Let us not fail to love and highly esteem God above our child, parent, pet, or most prized possessions. How do we compare the love of God? “For my heavenly Father so loved me, that He sacrificed His only Son that I could live with Him forever.” John 3:16 ❤️ Express your love daily to God. Let Him hear your devotion, for He is worthy of all our affection.

Our attitude, our tone of voice and our words either soothe or cause a storm. Be careful of how you respond to one who is angry. The Tempter ever seeks to trap us, to destroy our testimony. A soft toned response is like pouring healing ointment on a wound. A loud fiery retort is like pouring oil on a fire. Pausing for wisdom, we are given a soft answer, one that does not slice or stab. “A soft answer turns away wrath but a harsh word stirs up anger.” Proverbs 15:1 ❤️ EXAMPLE: Judges 8:1-3 Angrily “Why have you treated us like this? They challenged him vigorously. Gideon answered softly “What have I accomplished compared to you?” At this, their resentment against him subsided. “The tongue of the wise uses knowledge rightly, but the mouth of fools pours forth foolishness.” Proverbs 15:2

➕ It is prudent to speak what Truth we know, gracefully. Consider the impact on all the hearers, which includes God. When to speak and when to be silent requires wisdom.
