Are you Desperate?

Be Alert79794181_1041519559519926_7818424612982620160_n   One definition for DESPERATE is “to have a great need or desire for something.” Seeking the face of God with earnest prayer is to feel a burning desperation to encounter more of God personally.   “I love those who love Me, and those who seek Me diligently will find Me.” Proverbs 8:17 – “And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior.” Luke 1:47 –  By His promise, His word is faithful. “But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ.” Ephesians 2:4 – Oh Lord my God reveal Thy face, Thy plan to me. AMEN “Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.” II Timothy 1:9 – download (1)We can align ourselves with God’s will as we choose to daily be in His holy Presence.  Picture yourself at the throne with Jesus as you pray together.  “Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have perfected praise” (Matt. 21:16). Perfect praise is not practiced, polished, planned, or professional. It is full of the Spirit, it is passionate, original, spontaneous, sincere, enthusiastic, and full of life. Praising God in Spirit and truth, this is what our Father seeks. “Prayer does not fit us for the greater work; prayer is the greater work.” Oswald Chambers — “And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.  And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose. For those God foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son… ” Eph 1:3-14 “And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love” I Corinthians 13:13 “For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38 0a019b8c52bcb33eThank Jesus for His personal invitation to pray with Him, and use us for His purpose, for His glory.  “It is better to teach one person to pray earnestly than ten people to sing in a choir, or to preach.” M.L. King.   Prayer is not overcoming God’s reluctance, but becoming a willing participant in His plan   “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in his love. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. ” John 15:9–13 – Oh Abba Father, here I am use me. Moses asked “Please, show me Your glory.” —EXODUS 32—God’s Supernatural response was to reveal an extraordinary series of promises. Audibly God pledged: “I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.” EX 32:31 Our Lord Jesus gave us Psalm 119 as a way to pray.  He wants us to join Him in His intercessory prayer over all of creation. Jesus is delighted to use our collective voices as a magnet to pull His presence to the earth. The book inspired a global network of prayer warriors. Let us be inspired to keep the FIRE of the HOLY SPIRIT burning in us. Create a private alter to meet God daily in your home. Worthy or Worthless?
