Peel, Slice, Boil, Spice, Bake – Easy Peasy and YUMMY! Use “Slap Yo Momma” seasoning!
Are ye missing fries with your lettuce wrapped burger? Well just go to the farmers market in your area and purchase fresh Jicama and make home made FRIES – only 5 net carbs per half cup. Now go ahead and shout with GLEE! Put a pot of water on to boil, peel the jicama, slice as french fry or country potato slices, slide into rapidly boiling water for 10 minutes, remove from boiling pot, drain, place in plastic bag or bowl, sprinkle with your favorite spices – I use cajun spice, olive oil, bit of salt in a bowl. Mix well and BAKE at 400 for 30 minutes, then broil for another 5 minutes depending on your oven. Adjust baking time and spice to your liking!

Use hands to mix in bowl, wipe bowl clean with sliced in halved green onions and bake with it
